Re: What book are you currently reading?

Reading "As You Wish" by Cary Elwes out of nostalgia.

I also need to finish "Out" by Kirino Natsuo that I started years ago but never got around to completing.

Re: What TV shows/dramas are you currently watching?

Ice Fantasy - A Chinese drama and one I wouldn't recommend. Leading actor and actress were dull, plus poor plot/characters/CGI. It was like Frozen meets Peter Jackson's LOTR, but rather garish and tacky at times. And somehow I just couldn't stop watching despite laughing my head off and shouting rid...

Re: Totally Random Talk Thread

Whoa. It costs around £6000 (over 8000 USD) for accommodation per year in the UK, around £10,000 if you're in London... And tuition fees TRIPLED around 2010. At least my student loan will be wiped out if I don't repay it within 30 years. It's sad how many of our generation are burdened with so much ...

Re: C- & tw-drama recommendations

Nirvana in Fire (the first season) - Beautifully written and acted. It's a very slow burn and requires your full attention to keep up with the story and recognise all the subtleties. It contains love, loyalty, revenge, betrayal, jealousy, integrity, genocide... Sounds typical of many Asian dramas, ...

No, I prefer to be hands free.

Do you also set your alarm more than one hour before you actually (need to) wake up?

Yay. Grab a copy of the Metro in the morning and it ends up being a group exercise back in the office. I usually avoid the cryptic crosswords, however.

I've no idea whether Nino has improved so Jun it is.

Would you rather arrive 1 hour early or 15 minutes late for every engagement for the rest of your life?

Re: K-drama recommendations

Signal - One I'd recommend to even non k-drama fans, especially if you're into thrillers. There are a number of shows I enjoy watching on repeat, but Signal is one of those I wish I could have my memory wiped so I can experience it afresh every time. It managed to have me gripped all the way throug...

Re: Supporting Arashi – buying releases

I used to go for the LE albums and concert DVDs, concert goods and Waku Waku goods. Never the singles. This was up until the Popcorn album release and I was still missing out on the LE Time album.

The only items I've retained to this day are the Waku Waku bento box and Riida's Freestyle art book..

Back in the days, it went:
