Re: [Ask fellow Arashians] From which show/series/performance/CM etc is this from?

Found the tea ceremony for others that are looking for it. It's from Arashi ni Shiyagare of May 07, 2011. In the end it wasn't a special and from a much earlier year than I'd expected. Now I can finally enjoy my own matcha while watching them XD.

Re: What TV shows/dramas are you currently watching?

My brother just got us Netflix... so the last couple of days I've been watching quite a bit of things. There are more Asian ones on it than I expected. At the moment watching W, a Korean one that has managed to keep me watching for the first 7 episodes already. Usually I break of Kdramas pretty quic...

Re: [Ask fellow Arashians] From which show/series/performance/CM etc is this from?

I remember them learning more about matcha and tea ceremonies, probably in Shiyagare, but I've been looking for the episode for a while. Does anyone know which date that was? I think it was a special, but I'm not sure about that any more.

Re: How long have you been in the Arashi fandom?

I'm pretty new in the fandom, only joined in the first half of last year. My biggest regret is never coming across them before. Aside from the rare anime we don't come in contact with the Japanese culture a lot over here. The question people here ask most when they find out I'm a fan is "Where did y...

Re: 2018 Year in Review

This year my second favourite Arashi drama changed... because of Black Pean. For a moment I thought it would even dethrone Uta no oniisan, but I think they're just about sharing the first spot. Natsu Hayate has become one of my top favourite numbers, though not on first place either. Definitely my f...

Re: [MOVIE] Sho - Laplace's Witch

Just got a mail from yesasia... it's now available on Region 3 DVD (and region A Blu-Ray) with English Subtitles. Sadly those are versions I can't use, but maybe some of you can.

Re: What have you done today?

Saturday evening I fell victim to an infection of the respiratory system, causing serious pain and times of fever. So I've been resting a whole lot, in silence. Today started the same way... but three days without any Arashi finally really got to me, so I decided to listen to a couple of my favourit...

I completely agree. I thought about preordering it the moment the mail of yesasia came in, but I'm going to wait until my previous one comes in because it's still a while away :)

I've actually been thinking the same thing when I was rewatching it a while ago, but I think most of those people will have passed away by now. They were all at least in their seventies after all.

Re: What TV shows/dramas are you currently watching?

At the moment I'm watching Atashinchi no Danshi (because MyDramalist listed that one as a recommendation linked to Gokusen) and, though I still prefer Gokusen, it's not a bad series. I also mainly download the ones I'm watching, because they are impossible to find on DVD over here. Anime are easier ...

Re: What TV shows/dramas are you currently watching?

My brother found the blurays of Arale on Monday, so we're watching that one at the moment. It's Nino's influence from a particular VSA episode XD. We've been looking for it ever since we saw that VSA epi, but there isn't a lot available online. At least it's been subbed in French, so it's watchable ...

It's November... a very important month in all aspects.

So I started my Nano today XD. I'm wondering whether any other members in here participate though.

Re: What TV shows/dramas are you currently watching?

We already finished that one XD. We're also watching the Belgian version of the bake off, but the British one is definitely better. I often think the judges on GBBO are too nice though I may be influenced by Gordon. I want a new Sewing Bee season already. Too bad we have to wait till next year. Aus...

The Great British Bake Off, influenced by my brother. I love it. I also highly recommend The Great British Sewing Bee. I actually like it even better than GBBO. We already finished that one XD. Re: What TV shows/dramas are you currently watching?

The Great British Bake Off, influenced by my brother. I also finished Hana Nochi Hare yesterday (finally) and am rewatching VS Arashi. ETA. Just started rewatching Yukan Club and it's obviously been a while. I didn't even realize the amount of Johnny's in there XD. I guess I first watched that serie...

Have all of you try Kanji Study? Basically a free app. But if you want full kanji learn, you can buy it no more than USD10. You can learn the stroke, search meaning and some example sentences. For me this app help a lot to learn the stroke :) No apps for me. My phone is old enough for a driver's li...

Re: Japanese & JLPT

I'm learning it with the help of www.memrise.com. So far it works pretty well, I've only skipped a few days. It's going slower than I'd like, but I am starting to understand quite a bit by now (switched to memrise around December last year). Reading is very slow, but getting better as well. I do hav...
