Re: What TV shows/dramas are you currently watching?

The Great British Bake Off, influenced by my brother. I love it. I also highly recommend The Great British Sewing Bee. I actually like it even better than GBBO. We already finished that one XD. We're also watching the Belgian version of the bake off, but the British one is definitely better. I ofte...

I hope it gets subbed quickly as well, though I think I'll at least try to watch it without subs :)

Re: What TV shows/dramas are you currently watching?

The Great British Bake Off, influenced by my brother. I also finished Hana Nochi Hare yesterday (finally) and am rewatching VS Arashi. ETA. Just started rewatching Yukan Club and it's obviously been a while. I didn't even realize the amount of Johnny's in there XD. I guess I first watched that serie...

Re: Japanese & JLPT

Have all of you try Kanji Study? Basically a free app. But if you want full kanji learn, you can buy it no more than USD10. You can learn the stroke, search meaning and some example sentences. For me this app help a lot to learn the stroke :) No apps for me. My phone is old enough for a driver's li...

Re: Japanese & JLPT

I'm learning it with the help of www.memrise.com. So far it works pretty well, I've only skipped a few days. It's going slower than I'd like, but I am starting to understand quite a bit by now (switched to memrise around December last year). Reading is very slow, but getting better as well. I do hav...

Yesasia has it as preorder, releasedate November. No subtitles though.

I'm also hoping it will be subtitled soon :).

Re: [CONCERT] ARASHI Anniversary Tour 5x20

I hope that's just paranoia. As far as I can tell each of their anniversaries so far has given them more fans (though that's just from the livejournal entries around those times as I didn't know about them before last year) and I hope this one will do the same. I'm really not ready to let them go ye...

Re: [CONCERT] ARASHI Anniversary Tour 5x20

That's what I expect... but even if they go to Paris, I'd try to get there... even if it means more than a week of bed rest afterwards. It's closer than Japan in any case XD. But I doubt they'll come to Europe at all. I think the "and more" may include Hawaii, but that will be the only non-Japanese ...

Re: [CONCERT] ARASHI Anniversary Tour 5x20

I doubt it will include Europe either... but I'm wondering more about whether the album will be a compilation or not.

Though I have to admit I'm looking forward to the next year. I'm hoping for even more Arashi XD.

Re: Your favourite concerts?

Untitled definitely earned a spot among my favourites. I think it's actually a shared first place with Digitalian for me.

Re: [DVD/BLU-RAY] ARASHI LIVE TOUR 2017-2018「untitled」

Yesterday I watched both the concert and Arashi Kai next to each other on my two monitors... and it's obvious that parts of the concerts are cut (not just the MC either.) It was still fun to do though I sometimes had to pause the Arashi kai to let the concert catch up. I think next time I watch the ...

Re: What TV shows/dramas are you currently watching?

I finished rewatching Uta no Oniisan for the fourth or so time... and I'm now watching Super Star Academy and Doctors Saikyou no Meiji Season 2. It's only the third Japanese series I've found with three seasons and two of those are medical ones (the other one is Gokusen), so my hope for another Blac...

Re: [DVD/BLU-RAY] ARASHI LIVE TOUR 2017-2018「untitled」

They said at the start that it was in a rented room, so not Jun's apartment.

But I agree, it's a great concert and I've been thinking whether it's better than Digitalian or just behind it :).

Re: [DRAMA] Black Pean

Neither would I :). Already suffering from Tokai withdrawal. I think I'm already going to rewatch the series next week (at the latest XD).

The end kept the possibility open, but they'd need a completely new story because there are no real loose ends (which is a good thing too I guess XD).

Re: [DRAMA] Black Pean

Well... The pean was left in there by Saeki, but... this was the first episode I actually rather liked the guy. Chances of a second season seem slim though.

Re: [GENERAL] Video games

I used to play the Pokemon games and found them again this week, so I may charge my old Gameboys once more... I've also spend too much of my time on WoW and LOTRO (though I haven't played for over two years now). These days it's only Sims, another old time favourite, that still runs off with my gami...
