Treadmills are great exercise. My parents set one up in there house, now that they have a basement. We live so close to each other that I think I'll be able to use theirs instead of needing a gym membership.

Children really can be amused by the same thing over and over again. When I'm around them a lot, I'm able to tune it out just enough that it doesn't drive me crazy, but the kid doesn't feel ignored. I've worked with kids off and on through the years, and finding a way to do that really is necessary.

Back when I ran all the time, I wouldn't go running unless it was on a treadmill. This was when I still lived with my parents, and they lived out in the country on a dirt road with hills and valleys all over the place. I didn't want to over exert myself. Plus, there was a large percentage of pedophiles near me.

I prefer running outside, but so far I've done all my C25K workouts on a treadmill. I live in an area that has a lot of hills so it's not really an ideal place to start running.

I don't like kids at all :x
I do sometimes spend time with my niece who lives in the same city and I try to be with my nieces and nephew when I see them at my parents', but it's not easy.

I hate that we're at this position now. I don't know where I can keep my pictures on line and not have to pay the website. I'm poor! I don't have time for that.

Ikr. I don't want to host the pics myself even though I do have space and bandwidth for them. I'm afraid people will hotlink...

I've been tired, nervous and anxious lately. I met my surgeon today and we talked about me getting an implantable neurostimulator 'cause my nerve pain has gotten out of hand. Of course my (other) doctor in pain clinic needs to approve it (again) 'cause it's been a few years since I was last a patient there. Not sure what he's gonna say 'cause my depression has gotten worse again...

Is flikr still free? I suddenly remembered it...

Things have been busy and constantly changing for me. I have two job interviews this week. One of them was yesterday, and the other is on Friday. I'm thinking I could do both since one is a 10pm-2am shift. I haven't worked that late in years. I hope I can do it. The other is for a local bank, and when I applied I said wanted to go for both the part time and the full time, just to up my chances of getting an offer there. So, depending on that job, we will see if I do go for the night shift job. We will see.

The thing about being unemployed is that it gives you a lot of time to watch old Arashi shows. I haven't done that in a long time. It's kind of fun. ^_^

^Thanks. I need to look up tips on how to make a good impression for a bank interview. I've never had that job before, but I have had a lot of different types of jobs. I wonder why it took this long for them to notice me. I've sent quite a few applications to them over the years.

I've been busy doing nothing but sleeping, resting and watching Thai dramas (they are pretty good!) :x I did start doing yoga twice a day (10 min "morning" and night) so I guess that's something.

How is everyone doing?

I've been watching European Volleyball Championships and World Cup starts this week, so I'm happy (minus having to wake up at 5 am for more than half of the matches). I've also been playing an old MMORPG called Ragnarok Online. Used to play some 15 years ago (wow, time flies), and was very surprised to find out it's still a thing. Other than that, board games, handmade cards, Arashi, trying and failing to learn some kanji, the usual ;)

Today is National Coffee Day, so I was finally able to buy some coffee at the cafe I frequent for wi fi. I've been feeling so bad for not buying anything, but none of the workers have said anything about it. A group of people at my church today pooled some money together and handed it to me, saying I could use it to put towards fixing up my car. It was really nice of them! Someone even remotely paid airtime for my phone, so that's another thing I don't have to worry about!

So, today's not too bad. It's raining and it's fall here. Another plus.

I love going for a walk, and make up scenarios in my head, that will never happen, spend my free time at coffee shops, binge watching and get some work done, when I see a dog, I’d say hi to it.

So, I experienced a tragedy yesterday. As I was downloading, or unzipping the big folder from the little folder that was the latest vsa episode, my external hard drive made a boo-boo. I'm not exactly sure how it happened. I saw a window pop up and say that there was no room left on the devise (which does not surprise me in the slightest), so I must have unplugged it, or moved it roughly since it was sitting on my lap and I got up to get a drink. When I came back to plug it back it, my hard drive would not open on my laptop, and it started making this clicky-click noise inside of it. It might somehow be broken and not fixable, but I talked to my brother about it, and he's an IT. He said he'll take a look at it and hopefully the drive isn't too damaged to recover everything that is on there. I hope he can. I have a TON of Arashi stuff on that drive. Dramas, movies, variety shows, concerts...I even have some personal pictures on there just because my computer alone is not big enough to hold everything. If I lose my hard drive, I will be really sad. I'll have to start over from scratch, and I hope I can find the subbed versions of the variety shows I may have lost.

I haven't touched my hard drive since last night, mostly because my brother told me not to. So, we will see how things go. Until then, my Arashi connection is kind of out of commission. I really hope I don't have to start over again. That was 5 years worth of downloading and scavenging.

Soooo back wayyy in the day when I lived in Japan I had a ton of stuff (All the C,D,G no Arashi, Mago Magos, lot of subbed dramas, etc.) on an external and one day it just died. I cried for like 3 days straight. I am praying for your hard drive's full recovery.

How have you guys been? I've been away for quite a while. I had a lot happen at my work and now I'm heading back to school for accounting. It was pretty cool out today. Not as humid as it has been, which is good for me as I like to wear lots of layers :)

Were you able to find everything again online, ir did you have to start over from scratch? Or did you just lose everything you had? I think most stuff I can get back, but all in all i probably won't find everything I had. Some of the shows I could probably live without but the rare ones I will probably never find again. Like one of Aiba's dramas and Heaven Cannot Wait 2. I don't know where I will be able to find those subbed since the lj comm closed and did not back up their links.

Well, before I left I backed up the most important files on older externals that my mom had that she didn't use for her work anymore. That and I had some of the files (mostly music show performances and recent shows) on my laptop hard drive. So I think when I got back I had about 75% ish? puzzled together. I did have to dig. The old Aibakaland had some of the stuff that I lost, and I translated a little for a group so I had a couple of connections on LJ. At the time the biggest files that I lost that I didn't have access to were Taiji stuff (dead links and such) and I didn't get a lot of those back until Arashiproject came in at full force. (Hope I can name these guys, If not I'll edit the post @iheartaiba) I think in the end I ended up with about 90% recovered. But I also discovered stuff I had never seen before, so it was like getting to know them all over again. :)

There was a point where I thought I was mostly caught up and then I got so behind that it seemed impossible to have every file that I wanted AND try to keep them organized while keeping up with new releases. I've pretty much given up at this point, haha.

That might happen to me, in the end. However, my brother hasn't gotten a chance to look at my hard drive, so there's no saying if everything is recoverable or not. Everyone's been telling me that when a hard drive makes a "clicky" noise that wasn't there before, it's pretty much dead. :(

I kind of knew I wouldn't be able to keep everything I've had for long term. A few weeks ago, I was watching some of my old vsa episodes and I came across some episodes that I thought I had but didn't. Like the summer special when Arashi went against V6. I remember seeing it raw, because I was still a new fan but only watched subbed episodes, but wanted to see that one anyways. I think I found a subbed version, too. So, I somehow misplaced that one, or I couldn't transfer it over from my old laptop to my new laptop in time.

I may end up buying a new hard drive anyway since they don't last forever. At least, the cheap ones don't.
