And here's a summary of the plot, taken from AsianWiki:
Two people are poisoned to death by hydrogen sulfide at hot springs located in different regions. The police ask Professor Shusuke Aoe (Sho Sakurai), who is a geochemist, to determine whether the deaths were caused by freak accidents or were murders. While investigating the cases, Shusuke Aoe comes across Madoka Uhara (Suzu Hirose). She guesses correctly that a natural phenomenon will take place. The police begin begin to suspect Madoka might be related to the deaths and a 3rd case takes place.

I just realized that it's another teaching-related role of Sho. From Kazoku Game and SakiBoku to this. He does look like a teacher though, the role fits him well.

I read somewhere that there will be a showing on an airplane in Japan and Sho is going to attend! Man, can you imagine riding the same plane as Sho? Would he be watching the movie too?

Who can concentrate on the film if Sho is around?!

Movie on one side, Sho on the other... I wonder how many people would be watching the movie instead of the real Sho

I also like Higashino Keigo's novel.
I hope I could read the novel before the movie is released.
Do they have the translated edition?

I can´t wait to watch it!
I recently discovered that I really love Higashino Keigo´s stories. They´re so thrilling and different.
I'd love to read any work of his.

I am a fan of mystery novels, movies and dramas, I honestly wanted to read this book first, but unfortunately there is no book available in english translation, so I'll really have to wait for the movie to be releases, I'm so excited!
*hoping it will be available in our country* *keeping fingers crossed*

Wow! The plot sounds interesting!

I would like to read the book as well but.... well, without English translation, it's gonna be hard for me. I can't wait for the movie to come out. I hope they make it available in my country; they've started showing Japanese anime on cinema so hopefully.....

I was in Japan in April and saw big ads everywhere for this movie... even on the sides of the trains. I enjoy Higashino's works so I'm hoping to be able to catch this movie one day soon.

If only Japanese DVDs had English subs just like Korean DVDs have. The lack of subs makes me leech instead of buying...
