How long have you been in the Arashi fandom?

Post by Luzi » Thu Dec 27, 2018 10:00 am

Hi there

Being new here (but since 15 years in the Arashi fandom) I'd like to see how "old" the Arashian's here are generally ^^ many might have heard of them before actually call themselves Arashi-fans so I'd say for the sake of the poll count from when you actively became an Arashian ^^

I'm pretty new in the fandom, only joined in the first half of last year. My biggest regret is never coming across them before. Aside from the rare anime we don't come in contact with the Japanese culture a lot over here. The question people here ask most when they find out I'm a fan is "Where did you find those?!"

I voted 11 to 15 years. There was a period of time when I took a break from all the communities (but I still listened to Arashi and watched some stuff - but I was more into k-ent during that time), but I became a fan in 2004, I think. To be honest, I'm not even sure :D Definitely before 2005.

I've been a fan for about 3 1/2 years now. I'm so happy I can say that now! XD I became a fan in 2015, sometime between April and June. I don't know the exact date.

I came across Arashi in 2007, but it took me about 6 months of getting to know them as a group and becoming part of the fandom (in the early 2008). In terms of me being a fan, not much has changed during those 11+ years, except I no longer feel the need to store every single video and photo of theirs (this was bound to happen once I started running out of space and time to watch everything)

I became a fan a bit after the 5x10, so somewhere between 9 and 10 years, I think. Maybe closer to 9, I can't remember exactly when I started as a real fan, but I started enjoying the music since about 2 weeks after I listened to it for the first time. ^^

I've been a fan for about 6 years now, got into them around mid 2012.

going into my tenth years. wow that has been long. started to follow them in 2009 during summer break (just loved Hanadan and then the AAA 2008, still the best concert) and haven't stopped since, though I'm not so deep into the fandom anymore. I sometimes even miss the single releases, though I never buy singles besides some selected favourites.
