Hey everyone, I'm back with a Matsujun fanfic! I decided to start with Jun instead of Aiba because there is still some stuff I need to research for Aiba's. Meanwhile please enjoy!

And sorry if my updates are slower than usual...I've been having terrible writer's block since the end of Nino's fic! Also school is going to start up again soon (T.T)

So here we go:

Chapter 1

The man kindly drove me to the nearest station.

“Thank you for the ride,” I slightly bowed.

“Anytime,” he winked and drove off.

Pfft. Like I was calling you again. It's just a game.

Men are foolish and easy to manipulate. I've taken a hobby of getting men to fall for me, but once they like me, I never call them again. After all, it was just for the game. I guess you can say it's similar to hunting. Sometimes you shoot, but you do not eat the meat you have shot. It's all for the fun. It's to prove you can do it. Each time I try to make it more challenging. Having a time limit, seducing a married man, etc.

Now please don't think too badly of me. I never would sleep with a married man. Actually to be honest, I'm a virgin. I'm not some skank who does this game to sleep with men. No, there would be no fun in that. It was more fun to leave the man thirsty rather than satisfied.

So how did I become like this? Torturing men's emotions?

I don't really know myself. Maybe it's because one day I realized I could manipulate men. It wasn't that hard to understand men if you grew up with three brothers like I did. Once I started the manipulation I couldn't stop. I don't really believe in love anyway. Maybe it's real for some people, but this “love” people talk about is mostly hormonal. At least according to my theory.

Still, my little game was getting boring. Every man was the same. So predictable.

Once I got home I kicked off my shoes and Toshi came running to me. “To-chan! I'm home” I hugged the Klee Kai as he barked from excitement. “Shhh! It's late To-chan!” He stopped and licked me instead. I think the only man I will ever love is my precious Toshi.

“Come on, let's get ready for bed!”

“Hey wait up Rina!” A voice called behind me. I slightly tugged on Toshi's leash to tell him to stop. The girl caught up and smiled at me while petting Toshi. “Good morning Toshi-kun!”

The girl's name was Ayumi. She lived in the same apartment complex and often looked after Toshi if I was gone for work. We had become pretty good friends over the years.

“Taking a walk?” Ayumi stated more than asked.

“Yeah, Toshi doesn't get out enough. Want to join?”

“Sure!” She excitedly stood up after petting Toshi and walked besides me.

We walked fairly slowly as we found our way to the nearest park.

“So did you go out with anyone last night?” She asked in her usual joyful tone.

“Yeah, but he was just a normal businessman. I'm getting bored. Are there no challenging men in all of Tokyo?” I sighed.

“If he was challenging, I think you would actually fall for him.” Ayumi poked my side jokingly.

I shook my head. “I doubt it. Toshi here is all I need. Isn't that right boy?” I pet his head as he gave a bark of agreement.

Ayumi giggled. “Well, maybe you could start helping out women to reveal their cheating boyfriends?”

“I thought about it, but it seems like a depressing job. I'd also risk the girl getting mad at me.” I shivered at the thought of a woman's wrath.

“So you want a challenge?” Ayumi searched around.

“Or something interesting...who wants to play a game when it's boring?”

“Jaa, how about him?!” Ayumi pointed up towards a billboard.

There was a man's face advertising some makeup product. I recognized him as one of the members of Arashi. “A celebrity?”

“Yeah! It's something new at least. And you get a hot guy out of it!” She clasped her hands together. “Matsujun is so cute!! Have you seen his latest drama? He is such a good actor!” She rambled on.

A celebrity, huh? Seemed kind of boring. They were more willing to throw themselves at girls most of the time...

Well, I guess it would be something new...

I gave a reluctant nod. “I guess. But it seems like the most challenging part would be meeting him.”

“It's challenging nonetheless right?” Ayumi pointed out.

“I guess....wasn't the kind of challenge I was thinking of, but it's something.”

Ayumi looked at her watch. “Oh! I need to go! I'm meeting up with my boyfriend for some lunch. Bye!”

“Bye-bye.” I waved.

After she left I looked at the billboard one more time. “How will you amuse me Matsumoto-san?”

Here are a few tips to seducing a celebrity.

Tip 1. Research, research, research.

I went to the book store and skimmed through all of Matsumoto's interviews. I felt embarrassed even to hold such a magazine. They were obviously for fangirls who would be crazily screaming over the different pictures and curious to know how they can become their idol's type.

Well, I guess I was doing a similar thing...I was creating my character.

His interviews were annoying though. The other members of Arashi were more plain on what kind of girl they liked. Matsumoto's ideal type seemed to be all over the place. To sum all the interviews up: he wanted a girl that wouldn't embarrass him and I guess fashionable as well. (Judging from his fashionable looks).

It wasn't too hard to build my character. As long as I dress semi-fashionable (which I think I already do) and be able to understand others (my specialty) I should be fine.

Now time to figure out the places he liked to go to increase my chances of meeting him...

I sighed, unfortunately fangirls would know the best.

Tip 2. Follow fangirl blogs. They are crazy, but they know their idols.

I could hardly stomach the fluffy heart filled blogs. They were useful though...well when they weren't talking about Matsumoto's new hairstyle and how good it looked on him.

They mentioned some of his favorite shops and how much he liked to shop. Good, it looks like if I stay in a popular shopping area, my chances of meeting him will increase.

Of course through all this research I couldn't help but notice it seemed like he was a little full of himself. I wasn't too surprised though. It just makes him annoying.

I got a quick glance of my clock on the wall. “Shoot!” I packed my wallet and keys in my purse and ran to work.

Work isn't too exciting. I'm a normal OL (Office Lady). I do secretarial work for a living. It pays well so that's all that matters to me.

You see, I've never been too ambitious towards anything. Having to pick a major in college was the most annoying thing to do. I decided just to do something normal since I didn't really have enough motivation to do anything hard or exciting.

During my break I pulled up the movies and dramas Matsumoto had been in.

Tip 3. Know his work.

I roughly reviewed some of his work. I figured I would go into more detail by watching a few of them when I got home.

“Do you like Matsumoto Jun?” my coworker Hashimuira-san leaned over.

She startled me, but I caught myself so it wouldn't be obvious. “Not really. My friend said he was in some pretty good movies so I decided to check them out.”

She pointed to the screen at one title. “Hana Yori Dango is a must see. You'll want to watch the first two seasons before the movie though. Still, he's famous for that one.”

I nodded. “Thank you. I'll do that.”

She smiled. “Oh and if you decide you like him a lot. I have a couple Arashi DVDs and CDs you could borrow.” She winked.

I doubt I would take her up on that offer. That would be a little...too much. I nodded and smiled anyway.

Tip 4. Make an impression that he won't easily forget.

By the end of work I had worked out many scenarios in my head. Most of them led to the impression of refusing anything he offered. Celebrities could easily get any girl, so it was important to be a little hard to get. But remember, not too hard to get or they figure they can find someone else.

Interest them first and then put up a thin wall.

I was so caught up with my thoughts that as I went out the door from my work building, I crashed into someone.

“Tch,” was all that came from the man as he quickly stood up and continued running before I could even see what he looked like.

How rude! He didn't even give me a chance to apologize. AND he didn't help me up! What were men coming to?

I stood up and dusted myself off. I had a few scratches from the fall, but it wasn't too bad.

“What a jerk,” I murmured. I picked my purse up from off the sidewalk and noticed a phone next to it. It definitely wasn't mine. Must be the guy's. I picked it up. Might as well return it to the lost and found at the nearest train station.

At the train station, I decided to grab some convenient food they were selling nearby. That was a mistake...

A mother and her children were taking forever. The mother was having trouble with one child screaming, one still trying to decide what to eat, and with all of that, she was holding a young baby.

The man in front of me tapped his foot impatiently and clicked his tongue at the mother.

I was already in a bad mood from the man before so this guy's annoyed sounds were annoying themselves. I let out a heavy sigh. “Would it kill you to be patient?” I asked.

The man turned around to look at me. He was wearing big sunglasses and a fashionable hat. I couldn't see his eyes, but I was pretty sure he was glaring at me. I wasn't going to take that crap.

I walked up to the mother in front of him. I squatted to the deciding child's height. “Is there anything you really want?”

“I dunno...” the kid shrugged.

“Jaa, how about a melonpan? Oneechan will get it for you okay?”

The kid gave a nod so I bought the bread and handed it to him.

“Oh, I'm sorry,” the mother bowed as she still tried to calm down the screaming child.

I shook my head. “It's nothing. You look like you are having trouble.” Once again I knelt down, but this time next to the screaming child. “What's wrong?”

“I WANT THE CANDYYYY!!!!” He screamed.

“If you scream you won't get it.” I clearly stated, not that I expected a child to understand. “But if you stop screaming and promise never to scream at your mom again, maybe Oneechan will get you some melonpan instead like your brother?”

The boy calmed down, still sniffing. “But I want candy...”

“Maybe if you stay a good boy you can get candy later.” I was surprised it actually worked in calming him down.

I bought the melonpan and also bought some candy. I handed the melonpan to him and the candy to his mother. I looked at the young boy. “You only get this if you don't scream all the way home. And it's up to your mother when she give it to you. If you scream her brother has permission to eat both pieces of candy.”

The boys sniffles were slowly down. “Okay...”

“What do you say Miura?” the mother tugged on his arm.

“Thanks Oneechan.” He finally smiled. “Bye-bye!” he waved.

“About time...” the man went up to the counter and quickly ordered.

What a jerk...

He began walking off. “You're welcome,” I sarcastically said to him.

He snorted and continued to walk.

I fell onto my bed. “Toshi, I'm soo tired!” Toshi jumped onto the bed to snuggle with me.

An unfamiliar ring tone went off. Shoot! I forgot about the man's cellphone!

The name “Sakurai Sho” flashed across the screen. I hesitantly answered the phone.

“You!! You have my cellphone!?” The man on the other line yelled.

“Sorry, you dropped it, so I picked it up...” He sounded familiar.

“Sheesh, first you bump into me, then you scold me at the train store, and now you even have my cellphone!”

Oh, so the two men today were the same person. Makes sense since they were equally rude...

I still tried to hold in my temper. “I'll return it to the train station's lost and found...”

“No! You are going to come and give it to me.”

“What!?” Was he kidding?

“I'm not going back to that train station for awhile. I was a shopping. So come to this place.” He was in the middle of giving me directions when I stopped him.

“Wait, wait. Why am I being punished? You come here!”

“Because you are the one you bumped into me thus making me drop my phone!”

“Whatever, I'm not going out. It's too late for a girl to be walking out alone. I'll talk to you tomorrow and we'll discuss our meet up then, alright? Okay, goodnight.” I hung up on him before he could protest. I then turned off the power so he wouldn't keep calling back.

This is punishment for being so rude today.

I closed my eyes and peacefully slept.

The sun came in through the blinds. I moaned and rolled over. My sudden movement cause Toshi to bark. It's the weekend, I should be allowed to sleep in longer...but by the time I could calm down Toshi, I was pretty awake.

I yawned, noticing the strange cellphone on the desk next to my bed. Oh right, I better call him...

I powered the phone on. Six voice messages and twenty missed calls immediately popped up. Sheesh that guy was persistent. I didn't even bother listening to the voice messages, they would just consist of him yelling at me anyway.

I just redialed the number he called off of last time. The phone rang a few times before there was a gentle “Hello?” on the other line. Must be the guy that actually owns the phone...

“Um, hello. Is that one guy with you?” I asked.

“Oh, you are the one that has Jun's cellphone? Sorry, he isn't with me. Let me think who he might be with right now...” The man paused. Wow, he was so much nicer than the other guy. “Oh right, he said something about getting some coffee with Oguri-san. How about you go to his contact list and call Oguri?”

“Alright. Thank you for your help,” I politely said goodbye to him and hung up. How were those two even friends? I looked at the name of the person I talked to. “Sakurai?” Even sounded like a nice family name.

I did as Sakurai-san had said and searched for someone named Oguri in his contact list. “Ah! Here we go, Oguri Shun!” I pressed the call button. Then it came to me, I didn't even know who to ask for. He never gave me his name. Didn't Sakurai-san say his name was J...J...J-something?

“About time you called!!” It was the rude guy. Must have seen his number on his friend's cellphone.

“So, where would you like me to drop off your cellphone?”

“I'm already out so just come to this coffeehouse.” Eh, fair enough. He gave the directions and it wasn't too far from where I lived. It would probably take about 15 minutes to get there.

“Alright. I'll be there soon...” I wasn't too excited about meeting him again. He was probably going to yell at me in public about taking his phone and blah, blah, blah.

Oh well, just think about the upside. After this, I would start my Matsumoto hunting and a new game would begin.

“Oi! Over here!” The man waved me over to his table. Once again he was in sunglasses and a different hat. He was alone so his friend probably left already.

I timidly walked over there. I didn't even bother to sit, I simply placed his cellphone in front of him and was getting ready to leave.

“Hey, hey! Don't leave yet.” He forced me to sit down at his table. He crossed his arms and legs angrily. “Did you steal any of my contact numbers?”

“What!? Why would I do something stupid like that. I'm not some junior high kid that's going to prank all your friends.” Geez, what was up with this guy.

He snorted. “Don't play dumb. You probably took my phone on purpose. For what? A picture? A signature? To get noticed by me?”

“Heh? What are you talking about? Why would I want to even get to know someone as rude as you? My blood pressure rises every time I even think about you!” I stood up.

“You don't know who I am?” He asked, intrigued.

I shrugged. “Should I?”

He took off his glasses for a moment. My eyes grew wide.

It was Matsumoto Jun.

Tip 5. Don't do what I just did.

Thanks everyone

Chapter 2

He took off his glasses for a moment. My eyes grew wide.

It was Matsumoto Jun.

He smirked, satisfied by my facial expression. I quickly shook off my surprise. I wasn't going to let him have his way.

“So you're a celebrity? Does that suddenly give you the right to be rude and tell me what to do? You're still just a regular human being. Anyway, I'm leaving.” It didn't matter how I treated him now. It was already game over. It would take forever to get over that bad of a first impression.

This time he didn't try to stop me.

It would be a waste to go home now. I roamed random shops in the area. It was about lunch time and I was trying on a cute, white sundress when my phone rang. I dug through the many clothes I had in the dressing room to find my purse so I could answer it.

“H-hello?” I was close to missing the call.

“Hi Rina!” Oh it was just Ayumi.

“Oh hey.” I moved the phone to my other ear. “What's up?”

“Guess what! So I just heard from a friend that there is a secretarial job at Johnny's Jimisho. I think she said something about it being the front desk,” she excitedly announced.

“So that's the jimisho that Matsujun works at! Not to mention a lot of other hot celebrities!”

Oh, it was about Matsumoto...Kind of doubt that would work out.

Ayumi quickly began talking again before I could answer. “But that's not all I was thinking about when my friend told me about this job. You've been really bored at your job right now so I was thinking this might be a little more exciting since you get to work with celebrities and a fast-paced entertainment business!”

I was amazed at her talent to say all of that in one breath.

“I don't know...I'll have to think about it...” Seriously, I would have to think about seeing that Matsumoto guy's face everyday.

“Okay, but don't take to long! The job will probably fill up fast. I'll email you the specifics, okay? But seriously, think about how much better it will be than your job right now.”

“Thanks Ayumi.” I hung up the phone and looked at the sundress one more time. “I think I'll buy this one.”

I walked home with the shopping bag in hand. I wonder if I should take that job? It sounded better than what I was doing right now. Not by much, but maybe the people would at least be interesting...

How did Ayumi hear about a job like that anyway? Doesn't seem like something that would be super publicized in case fangirls tried for the job. I shrugged to myself. Guess it didn't matter. She said something about a friend so she must have a friend that works there.

I was lost in my thoughts as I passed by the coffeehouse that Matsumoto and I talked at. A super nice, almost out-of-place car was in the parking lot. Was he still there? Looked like the kind of car a celebrity would have.

I got a little closer to the car to check what kind it was. It was really nice! I wish I had a car like that. The windows were dim so it was hard to see the interior of the car. I began to cup my hands so I could check it out some more when I suddenly realized, there were people in the car!

I embarrassingly turned away. Wait, one of the people kind of looked like Matsumoto...I squinted to see if it was actually him and once again turned away, even redder than before.

Yep, definitely him...practically on top of some girl.

I decided to pretend I didn't see anything and began to walk away.

Click, click, click.

What was that sound?

Click, click, click.

I searched for what was causing that sound. Finally I saw a man, trying to hide as he took pictures of Matsumoto and the girl.

Geez, what was he thinking? Those pictures weren't going to come out well enough to even make a story...

Still, I thought, it would probably cause trouble for Matsumoto. I walked passed Matsumoto's car a couple times to purposefully blur the picture.

Wait, why did I care?

I stopped trying to blur the picture and simply stood there, acting like I didn't know where I was. I felt so stupid to even try to protect Matsumoto.

“Hey!” The man harshly whispered. “You're in the way!”

“Eh?” I blinked stupidly at him. I might as well have fun with him while I was at it. Should I use the stupid, cheerful girl character for him? “Me?” I pointed to myself.

He waved me over angrily. I slowly bounced over to him.

“What is it?” I tilted my head, pushing my lips out a bit for effect.

“I'm taking pictures of Matsujun right now.” He resumed taking pictures.

“Eh?! Matsujun?” I looked over at the car. “Wow, you sure have a good eye. I passed by that car a couple times, but I didn't even notice that was him! How do you do it?”

He smirked, raising his nose up a bit. “When you've been in the business as long as I have, you get pretty good at it.”

“Can I see the pictures?” I put out my hand.

“Um...sure.” He timidly handed the camera to me.

I stood up, looking through the pictures. He really didn't get that great of pictures, but there was one that was maybe good enough to get a story. I quietly erased that one so he wouldn't notice. He probably wouldn't be able to tell since he took so many pictures.

“You are really good at pictures. Why do you waste your talent on finding scandals?” I tried to compliment him.

He started blabbering about some life story as I looked over at the car again. Sheesh, how has Matsumoto not yet notice that this guy was taking pictures!?

Matsumoto returned back to his seat, running his fingers through his hair. The girl was smiling giddily. He opened his eyes and saw me standing there. He looked at me, then the camera, then me again.

Great, now he is going to think I was spying!

I tilted my head towards the cameraman and looked over at him a few times, hoping Matsumoto would get the message.

Matsumoto finally leaned over the steering wheel a bit so he could see the cameraman. His eyes grew wide. His mouth moved, probably murmuring a swear word.

He put his car into reverse and sped out of there.

The cameraman interrupted his story by jumping to his feet. “Shoot! He's leaving!”

I handed him back the camera. “I'm sorry for getting in the way of your pictures. They still look good despite it.”

He glanced between the moving car and me. Finally he said, “Do you want to get some lunch?”

Wow, he was too easy...

I smiled, tilting my head. “I'd love to.”

“Ah! To-chan, I'm full!” I fell onto the couch. “The plus to men is that they will pay for you!” Toshi came up and licked my hand. “Oh right, I need to check my email. Thanks for reminding me.” I pet Toshi's head as I flipped up my laptop.

I skimmed through the details of the job Ayumi told me about. It actually didn't look too bad. It also paid a little higher than what I was getting now. “I guess it couldn't hurt...”

So I began working on my resume.

“So this is where you will mostly be working. Suzuki-san will be working with you and will train you on how to use the computer system we have,” a man and Johnny's Jimisho instructed me.

I bowed. “Thank you.” I sighed as he left. I can't believe I actually got the job. I should be happy, but training is always annoying.

“Hey, so you are the new girl?” A cheerful girl set some of her things on the desk. “I'm Suzuki Shiori, nice to meet you.”

“I'm Yamamoto Rina.” I gave the usual bow.

“So you are friends with Ayumi-chan?” She asked. I nodded as response. “We grew up together! I love that girl.”

Oh so it was Suzuki-san who told Ayumi about this job...Makes sense that they are friends. They both have that overly cheerful attitude.

“Okay, since you are friends with Ayumi-chan, just call me Shiori!”

“I couldn't possibly!” Wow, what a forward person.

“I really hate formalities. Please, call me Shiori,” she insisted.

I sighed. Definitely a friend of Ayumi's. “Alright, but only if you call me Rina as well.”

“No problem with that Rina-chan.” Her smile was bright as she began the training. I don't know why I was drawn to cheery people. Like Ayumi, I immediately liked Shiori despite how cheerfully persistent she was. Maybe I respected how cheerful they were.

It seemed like cheerful people were always happy. Not bored with life like I was. Perhaps I could learn a lesson or two from Shiori.

“Good morning!” Speaking of cheerful...a tallish, cute man came in with a big grin on his face. The man next to him gave a more quiet, less enthusiastic “Good morning”.

“Ah! Good morning Aiba and Matsujun!” Shiori waved.

Great...seeing Matsumoto was what I was looking forward to the least about this job. Why did he have to be here so soon?

“Eh? You are working here?” Matsumoto said. I think I sensed some bitterness behind those words.

“You know Rina-chan?” Shiori looked between us.

“Ah, Rina-chan? What a cute name!” The man named Aiba commented.

I gave a little bow. “Thank you.” My eyes glided back to Matsumoto who didn't appear too interested. In fact he looked a bit impatient.

“Aiba, we need to get to practice.”

“Oh right! Bye Shiori! Nice meeting you Rina!” Aiba waved as he followed Matsumoto up the elevator.

“Wait, so you know Matsujun?” Shiori never did get her answer before the two left.

I shrugged. “We accidentally bumped into each other one day. We aren't friends if that is what you are thinking.”

She smirked and nudged me. “Hmmm? Maybe something will happen though?”

I seriously doubt that.

I didn't really want to explain my whole situation with Matsumoto to someone I just met so I just made up some basic excuse. “He's a celebrity so I don't really think a relationship would work out and I'm not really into the whole one-night stand thing...”

Shiori patted my back respectfully, an exaggerated proud look on her face. “That's great. Stick to those standards because some of these boys are hard to resist.” She eyed a guy walking by and gave him a shy smile when he waved.

I tried to keep myself from obviously having big-eyes. What kind of place have I gotten myself hired into?

A/N: Thanks for reading! Love new readers and my old readers <3
Now I have caught up with my already-written chapters so releases will slow down ^^;

Chapter 3

Everyday is pretty much the same...Attractive guys walk in and out of the office, Shiori waving at each on of them, some of them hit on me, and Matsumoto still glares at me.

I guess it was an upgrade to my last job, but I was still bored.

I grabbed a pile of papers and went into the elevator.

“Oi! Hold the door!” A man yelled. I put my hand in front of the door to stop it from closing. “Thank—Oh, it's you.” Matsumoto's face dropped to that of disappointment as he leaned on the back wall of the elevator.

I stayed silent. It was hard to speak with that strong 'I hate you' aura was surrounding him. I'm amazed I was able to talk back to him before. Now it seemed absolutely impossible.

We both stared at the numbers in silence as the elevator went up. Once in awhile my eyes would wonder and look over to him, but when our eyes met I would instantly look the other way.

The number 6 lit up. The doors didn't open.

Matsumoto's brow furrowed as he pressed the open button repetitively.

“You're going to break it if you press it too much...” I finally spoke up quietly.

“You aren't worried that the doors aren't opening?” He snapped at me.

I took a breath, set my pile of papers down and calmly pushed him aside, pressing the call button. “Ano...anyone there? Ano?”

Matsumoto clicked his tongue in frustration and hit the doors. “D*mmit, I have practice.”

“I'm sure someone will come...” I went back to my corner with my papers. I really needed to get them in soon before people left...

Matsumoto flipped out his phone and dialed a number. I watched him as he listened to the dial tone. He clicked the phone off angrily. “D*mmit Aiba, pick up!” He went down his contact list again, probably dialing another number. “Ah—!”

I heard his phone power down. I sighed. “Great...”

“Hey! What about your phone?” He pointed to me rudely.

I pointed to the stack of papers, raising my brow. Obviously I wouldn't be carrying my phone with my stack and having a skirt with no pockets.

He hit the wall again. “D*mmit!!”

“Hitting it isn't going to work.” I pointed out matter-of-factly. “Just sit down and wait. You are making me feel more anxious than I should be.”

“Oh, so I should feel relaxed in this situation?!” Matsumoto bit his lip, his fist still pressed against the wall. As he was putting down his fist angrily, he accidentally hit the railing. By the sound of the ringing I assumed it was pretty hard. He quickly gripped his hand in pain.

I sighed. “See? You are just going to hurt yourself...” I stood up again and grabbed his hand. “Here, my hands are usually pretty cold.”

He slightly pulled his hand away from the shock of the temperature. “Sheesh! They are cold!”

A few minutes passed as he silently let my cold hands act as a icepack for his bruised hand.

“Your name was...Rina, right?” He asked quietly. Almost, dare I say it, politely.

I nodded. I figured enough minutes had passed so I let go of his hand.

“No.” He grabbed my hands again and put them on his hand. “It feels nice now.”

I was embarrassed to find myself blushing at his comment. “A-at least my cold hands do someone good,” I tried to joke to cover up my obvious blush.

He snorted a little laugh. “Do you get cold easily?”

“Yeah. Always have.”

“Are you cold now?”

“Well obviously. My hands are still cold aren't they?” I said sarcastically.

Matsumoto pulled off his black blazer and held it out for me. “Here.”

I wasn't quite sure what to make of this kind gesture. “Uh, thanks.” I pulled it around me. It was still warm from his body heat.

We both sat on the floor, simply waiting. Minutes passed and I could feel Matsumoto turn restless.

“You aren't very good at being patient are you?” I asked pointing to his tapping foot.

“Not when I have somewhere to be.” His tapped his foot even faster. “Ugh!” He stood up and hit the wall again. “Ah!” He cradled his already bruised hand.

I sighed.

“What about you?” He turned towards me. “How can you be so calm?!”

I shrugged. “I figure we'll eventually get out. I'm not the type to worry over something this trivial.”

His brow furrowed, obviously angry at my comment. “Are you looking down on me?”

“No. I'm just saying we have different outlooks at this situation.”

“Tch.” He sat back down. “Something about you pisses me off.”

I snorted, “And here I was thinking you were actually being kind.” I took the blazer of my shoulders and handed it back to him. “Here. I don't want you calling me out to some coffee shop again saying something stupid like I stole it.”

“No, use it. You're cold.” He pushed it back towards me.

“I'm fine,” I said again handing it to him. Still he refused to take it back.

“Just wear the stupid thing already! You're cold!” This time he practically threw the jacket at me.

I put the jacket back on obediently. He could be scary!

Once again we sat in silence.

We both excitedly looked up. The doors opened.

“Finally!!” Matsumoto got out of the elevator quickly. “Hurry, you don't want to get stuck again!” He waved me out.

I took my stack of papers and ran out next to him. I sighed in relief. “Ah, thank goodness it opened...”

Matsumoto glanced at his wrist watch. “Ah! I need to go!” He ran off without even saying goodbye.

I looked down. “AH!” I still had his jacket on.

Jun ran to the room where the rest of the Arashi members were already beginning practice. “Sorry!” He instantly bowed his head.

“It's not like you to be late Matsujun,” Sho commented.

He set down his things and joined the other Arashi members. “Yeah the elevator was stuck.” He unconsciously went to take off his blazer. “Ah.” He looked at his arms. “It's gone.”

“What's gone?” Aiba asked, tilting his head.

“My jacket...” He looked around his bag. Oh right, he thought, I gave it to Rina. He shrugged, “I must have forgotten it at home.”

Sho watched Jun suspiciously. Jun wasn't normally the forgetful type. Still, Sho shrugged it off and decided not to pry any further.

Break came and all the members sat down exhausted.

Jun patted his towel along his neck to wipe the sweat off. “Hey Sho, do you know anything about that new girl at the front desk.” Wait, why was he asking this?

“Not really—”

Sho was instantly cut off by Aiba. “You mean Rina-chan!? Isn't she pretty!” Aiba scooted closer to Sho and Matsujun. (Ohno and Nino were busy messing with each other at this time). “Ne, ne. Apparently Tackey said he was interested in her. I wonder what will happen! I've also heard he passes by the front desk on purpose during the day!”

Sho hit Aiba on the head. “What are you? A high school girl?”

“Ittai!” Aiba put his hand on the now wounded spot on his head. While looking down he noticed the bruise on Jun's hand. “Hey, what happened to your hand!?”

Jun was busy processing the gossip he had heard from Aiba as he slowly looked at his hand. “Oh, I hit it on the railing in the elevator.” He remembered Rina's cool hands on his. She actually was pretty cute.

Tch, why does she have to be so annoying?

“Tadaima To-chan!!” I closed my front door as Toshi scurried towards me. Toshi rolled over for me to rub his stomach. I smiled and scratched it for him. “Ne, Toshi-kun, I have weird people at my job. Some Tackey guy keeps persistently talking to me. And don't get me started on that back-and-forth jerk Matsumoto.”

When Toshi rolled back over he began sniffing the blazer I was holding. He sniffed it for a long time. It was probably the first strong new scent in ages. Sometime slight random scents from men I would hang out with would stick to me, but Toshi learned not to care too much for their scents.

“Does it smell good?” I asked. I then put my nose to the jacket. My eye grew big from the delicious scent. “He does smell good!” I felt ridiculous that I was smelling some guy's jacket with my dog, but it was hard to resist when it smelt this good!

I put the jacket down. “What am I doing? Am I some sort of pervert?!” I put the jacket on the hanger I had near the door with all the other coats.

I found myself staring at it every once in awhile as I lied on the couch, bored. “I won't be able to return it tomorrow since I have it off...and I think Arashi will start their concerts soon. Will he even be at the jimisho during the concerts?”

Don Don

“Rina!!” Ayumi yelled on the other side of the door.

“Just come in, it's unlocked,” I called back.

She opened the door and let herself in along with Shiori. “That's dangerous Rina! You shouldn't leave your door unlocked.”

I pointed to Toshi. “I think he could handle any weirdos that break in.”

“Toshi-kun?” Ayumi responded in disbelief. “He is like the sweetest dog ever! He wouldn't hurt a fly!”

I slowly sat up. “Tell that to the fly he ate today.”

Shiori laughed, but Ayumi was a little miffed at how careless I was. She huffed. “Anyway, we are going to the club tonight! You're coming right?”

“I...guess...” I looked at my attire. I had fully put on my sloppy attire, sweatpants, sweatshirt, and a ponytail.

Shiori took a seat next to me. “That's fine. I want to do your makeup anyway!”

Ayumi held up her arm like she was answering a question in school. “I'll pick out something from your closet!” She ran to my room as I showed Shiori where my makeup was.

“Shiori, you weren't supposed to make her this pretty!” Ayumi complained as we walked towards the club.

“I wasn't the one that picked the short, form-fitting dress!” Shiori responded.

“Hey, hey, hey! Seriously guys, you are flattering me too much.” I was embarrassed they even put this much effort into beautifying me. “Plus Ayumi, you have a boyfriend so what does it matter?”

“You don't Rina?” Shiori asked.

“No! What makes you think I do?”

“The jacket you had hung up on the coat hanger. It's a guy's isn't it?”

Ayumi raised an eyebrow, very interested. “Why haven't I heard about this?”

“No, no,” I shook my hands in front of me. “I borrowed that from a...a friend because I was cold.”

“Hmmm?” They responded in unison.

“Oh, look we're here!” I pointed out. They both excitedly pulled me into the club.

Good thing about having overly cheerful friends, they forget about things easily when they get excited.

In the club, Ayumi and Shiori were dancing with a group of guys. I decided to squeeze through the crowd to get to the bar. For some reason I just wasn't quite in the mood to party.

“Ah, Rina-san!” Tackey waved me over.

Oh great.

I put on my fake smile. “Hey Tackey!” I took a seat next to him. “Why are you alone?”

He gestured over to the crowd. “Somewhere in there are my friends that I came with. I decided to get a drink though. Can I get you anything?”

Well, at least he was a gentleman.

“Um, a margarita sounds good.”

He smiled and waved over the bartender. When the bartender was finished he gently pushed the drink towards me.

Tackey and my conversation was mostly small talk. He would ask how work was, I would ask how recording went, etc.

I tried to take it slow at the drinks he kept ordering. I usually don't drink this much (I could probably be considered a light-weight). Maybe that's why I suddenly found myself grinding against him on the dance floor.

What!? I was grinding against some celebrity?

If I had been a little more aware of what I was doing, I would have stopped. I don't usually make myself this vulnerable to a guy.

Tackey leaned down and kissed my neck. As he started whispering, it tickled my ear. “Hey, want to go somewhere else?”

I finally gathered enough sense to stop. I slightly pushed him away. “Sorry, I don't do that.”

“Don't say that,” he squeezed my bottom.

“Stop!” I shoved his hand away. By the looks of it, he was definitely more drunk than I was.

I hated how alcohol turned men into animals...and how it made us women give into their stupid animalistic ways...

He began more and more persistent. “Come on Rina-channn.”

“Tackey, seriously stop!” I kept pushing him to keep at least some distance between us.

Tackey was about to reach for me again, but a guy grabbed his wrist.

“Tackey, she said to stop,” Matsumoto said cooley.

Tackey pouted. “You're no funn Jun!”

“Come on,” Matsumoto took my hand and pulled me out of the club.

The whole situation felt like a dream...

Chapter 4

“Come on,” Matsumoto took my hand and pulled me out of the club.

The whole situation felt like a dream...

I woke up from that dream as soon as we were out on the street.

“Are you stupid? You don't grind against a guy if you aren't planning on sleeping with him!” Matsumoto scolded.

I stared at my feet, rubbing my head. “I know...I didn't mean to. I just...drank too much.”

“Obviously.” Matsumoto folded his arms. “You should go home now.”

I blinked blankly.

“You do know how to get home from here, right?” Matsumoto asked, frustrated.

“Uh,” I looked at the buildings. “I think so. I came here with friends so...”

He sighed. “Seriously. I can't believe you. Here, give me your phone.” He put his hand out and I obediently gave my cellphone to him. “You came with Shiori right?”

He pressed some buttons and gave it back to me. “I texted her saying you were going home. You don't want her to worry right?”

I slowly nodded.

“Okay, since you are apparently man-bait right now,” he looked me up and down, “I'll make sure you get home safely. Where do you live?”

I pointed forward. “That way.”

He rubbed his forehead. “No, like what apartment complex. I don't trust your sense of direction right now...”

“Oh...” I told him my address and he nodded.

“Alright, I think I know where that is. I think you live near Leader.” He began walking.

It occurred to me I was supposed to follow him. (My brain still wasn't 100% at this moment).

“Who's Leader?” I asked, keeping a couple steps behind him.

“Ohno Satoshi. He is Arashi's Leader.”

“Oh...” I nodded, trying to comprehend what he was saying.

I kept quiet for most of the walk. Matsumoto looked straight ahead, head tall.

He reminds me of a prince. I imagined him with a crown and cape flowing behind him.

After a few minutes I finally spoke up. “Ne, why are you being nice?”

“What do you mean?” He didn't even bother to look back.

“You're always mean to me...” He makes me feel like a little kid.

This time he turned his head. His eyebrows completely furrowed. “What do you call giving you my jacket?”

I shrugged. It's true, he had been nice that once. But only that time.

He sighed. “Fine, I just want my jacket back. That's the only reason I'm walking you home. I'll never get it back if I don't get it now.”

Tch, I knew it. Always a motive...

“Still, I'm not as mean as you are making me out to be. I think its just because your laid back personality and my perfectionist personality clash.”

I nodded thinking about it. It didn't surprise me that he called himself a perfectionist. He seemed the type.

“Ah.” I pointed at my complex. “We're here.”

He followed me up the stairs to my apartment. When I opened the door, I quickly got his jacket and handed it to him.

“Thanks.” He put the jacket over his shoulder. I was surprised (and slightly annoyed) he didn't leave immediately. He leaned down a bit, inspecting me. “You know, I really don't see why Tackey likes you so much...”

My mouth dropped. “W-what! And you say you aren't mean!?” I folded my arms. “Well for your information I'm actually very good at seducing men.”

He laughed. “Is that so?” He smirked. “Then prove it. Try to make me fall for you.”

“It's kind of hard to make someone fall for me if that particular person knows I'm trying to do so! Plus, didn't you say our personalities were incompatible?”

He leaned back, that stupid smirk still on his face. “Guess you aren't all that great then. Can't even take on a challenge?”

“Ha! You call yourself a challenge? All I need to do is throw myself at you like that one skank you were with.”

“Which one?” He pretended to think back.

“Ah! Seriously, I hate men like you! You think of girls as only pieces of meat!” I lifted my hand to slap him, but he grabbed my wrist while it was in the air.

“Then prove me wrong. Actually make me fall for you and I will admit defeat. And by 'fall' I mean actually get me to love you, not sleep with you.” He smiled and leaned down to whisper in my ear. “But, if you fall for me first, you lose and I can be as mean as I want to be.”

I pushed him back, releasing my wrist from his grasp. “Fine! You're on!” I slammed the door in his face.

Matsumoto, this is war.

Game Start!

I stirred in bed thinking of a good plan to win Matsumoto's heart. This was going to be more challenging than usual, but the thought of a challenge excited me. I couldn't wait until I had Matsumoto kneeling at my feet. The image of him heads over heels about me gave me great satisfaction.

This would be revenge Matsumoto for treating girls like dirt and walking around with that cocky attitude. It's time that someone taught him a lesson.

Still, how was I going to do this? I usually created a character depending on the person I was “seducing”, but Matsumoto already knew what I was like. I would have to play off that...If I act too different, he will know I'm being fake and won't take the bait.

Toshi sensed I was restless so he cuddled closer to me. I patted his head. “Well there is at least one thing I'm sure of. I'm in no danger falling for him. I would never fall in love that easily.”

“Hey Rina.” Tackey made his way over to the desk. He scratched his head awkwardly. He put his elbow on the desk and leaned over. “Hey, sorry about the other day...”

I shook my head. “Nah, it's okay. We were both a little drunk.”

He gave me a smile. “We should get lunch sometime, okay?”

I smiled back and nodded. “Sounds good.”

“So...nothing happened with Matsujun?” Tackey pried.

I couldn't help by laugh. “No way! I like you a lot more than him.”

Tackey gleamed in pride beating Matsumoto.

“Wait.” I leaned forward towards Tackey for effect, but didn't lower my voice at all. “You don't think he likes me do you!?”

First plan. Start rumors.

“Ha! You wish!” Matsumoto shouted from the entrance. He smirked, casually walking by the desk. “I practically had to use force to get away from her that night.” He looked over at Tackey. “You know how drunk people get.”

First plan. Failed within seconds...

I did chuckle to myself though when I saw he used to the stairs instead of the elevator.

“Is that true?” Shiori finally left her work to join in the gossip.

“No!” I yelled. Great, now the plan was even backfiring on me!

“Well,” Tackey shifted feet. “I need to go. See you later.”

Shiori and I got back to work and the day was pretty boring.

Then it hit me.

Tackey! Tackey will be plan 2!

Although I feel a little guilty about involving him in mine and Matsumoto's fight. Still, it must be done.

Matsumoto Jun, this is only the beginning....

A/N: Thanks for all the comments as usual. I enjoy reading them! Your responses inspire me to keep writing
More is revealed about Rina this chapter!

Chapter 5

“I forgot about concerts...” I mumbled to myself as I threw off my high heels and jumped onto my couch.

When I didn't see Matsumoto at first, I didn't really think too much of it. After a week of not seeing him, I realized I had forgotten he is touring Japan right now.

Toshi nudged his wet nose against my hand. I sat up and patted his head. “It's not much good having a plan if Matsumoto isn't here to see it.”

So while Matsumoto was doing concerts, I kept myself preoccupied by having lunch with Tackey. I didn't like him anymore than a friend so maybe it was bad to be hanging out with him this much...Although I'm not really sure if he even liked me romantically either. I think it was more of his pride kicking in for being rejected.

Either way, I didn't care. Not just because of my challenge with Matsumoto, but because I haven't liked a guy since high school. And I'm not lesbian if that's what your thinking! I just have yet to find a decent guy.

All a guy usually wants out of a relationship is s*x. My brothers and father aren't any different...Maybe it's because of them I began thinking this way. Perhaps is due to them that I now see the worst in men.

You see, my father is a retired host. He now owns his own host club where two of my brothers work. My third brother isn't all that much better. He is a wealthy surgeon that plays with his money and women during his free time...

So if my father is a host you might be wondering why my mom married him. Well, obviously he was attractive and charming. My mom doesn't really have the best past either. She was a cabaret girl (now works with my father at his host club) and during her time off she would visit the host club my father worked at.

From there you know the story, she falls for him and he eventually falls for her. It's romantic and all, but due to their old promiscuous habits they aren't really the most faithful couple. I guess it all works out since both of them are at fault so they easily forgive each other.

I guess knowing this it's no wonder I make a game at seducing men. It's in my blood. The only difference is that I'm actually looked down upon in my family because I still want to believe in fairy tale love.

I know somewhere there is a good guy, but recently I have come to think that perhaps it's only a myth. Maybe gentlemen have never actually existed...I mean we talk about gentlemen in the past, but weren't they sexist? How is that gentleman-like?

I guess my standards are too high if I'm looking for a gentleman...that's probably why I cannot be content with a boyfriend like Ayumi. Maybe I'm too strict on guys? They can't help that they were born into a jerk-prone gender.

Still I think I would rather die a virgin than living my life pleasing men. And that is why I play my game. To teach each man a lesson that not all girls are that easy.

Even if it might just be me that isn't easy.

I'm probably alone on this charade.

“Rina, I need your help!” Ayumi was practically on her knees already.

“Uh, with what?” I couldn't imagine what I could help with.

I gestured her towards my couch so we could sit and talk. Ayumi took a seat and immediately began explaining. “You see, my boyfriend and I are getting kind of serious, but I'm still a little unsure. I mean once in awhile I see some girls' names on his cell, but I don't want to bring it up or else he'll think I don't trust him!”

I lifted an eyebrow, “Well, you don't or else you wouldn't be bringing this up.”

“Yeaahh, but I don't want to tell him that! So this is where I need a favor from you. Could you possibly...you know, flirt with him and see if he mentions anything about having a girlfriend?”

I shook my head. “Ayumi, you know I don't do that. I don't like bringing bad news, especially to you.”

“Please.” She grabbed my hands. “I mean it will be okay as long as he rejects you!”

“And if he doesn't?”

She hadn't thought this through. Sure it's nice to know if he is the cheating type, but was it really worth the pain?

Once again I'm reminded why I keep my distance from serious relationships. There is always some kind of uncertainty....

“Please.” Ayumi tugged at my hands. “You're the only one who can help me!”

I sighed. “Trust me Ayumi, you don't want to do this. Why not just ask him?”

“Ask him what exactly?! Ask 'Oh hey, are you cheating on me?' I don't think that would come across too well.” She folded her arms becoming more serious.

Silence once again filled the room.

“Fine,” I gave in quietly.

“Eh? You'll do it?” She stood up, throwing her hands in the air. “Yay!”

I can't believe I gave in. I knew this wouldn't end well. It never does.

I “accidentally” bumped into him.

“Ah, sorry. I can be so clumsy sometimes,” I apologized with a tilt of the head instead of a bow.

The night was cool. Summer was indeed over as the autumn breeze blew through my hair. I tucked a strand behind my ear as I continued walking.

“Wait!” The man ran up to me, handing me my handkerchief. Yes, a classic I know. Really, I didn't want to do this own mission too seriously. I didn't want to hurt Ayumi so I was playing easy.

“You forgot this.” He put the cloth in my hand.

I instinctively shivered as the wind blew. “Thank you.”

He stared at me hard. “Are you cold? You aren't wearing much of a jacket.”

I shrugged and smiled. “I didn't think it would get this cold already!”

“Here.” He took off his jacket and gave it to me.

“Oh, I couldn't possibly,” I gently protested.

“Come on, here you go.” He forcefully put the jacket around me.

Too easy, he was too easy.

“But, how will I return it to you?” I asked.

He smiled flirtatiously. “This gives me an excuse to see you again.”

I held the jacket tighter and sadly forced a smile. “That would be nice. But don't you have a girlfriend? A gentleman like you couldn't possibly be single.”

He laughed. “Haven't you heard the expression 'nice guys always finish last'?”

I nonchalantly took a whiff of his jacket.

“That's a shame,” I replied.

The jacket didn't smell as good as Matsumoto's...

“So...” he stared deep into my eyes. “Coffee?”

I glanced over at the convenience store Ayumi was hiding next to. “Maybe later.” I took off the jacket and gave it back to him.

He looked at me confused.

“Sorry...” I walked away, not caring to look back.

Sorry Ayumi, I wasn't going to go any further with him. He was too easy.

I made a round about the block so by the time I returned to the convenience store, he would be gone.

Ayumi was sitting on the bench quietly. I slipped into the spot next to her.

“Sorry,” I said quietly. I saw a tear fall onto her hand.

“M-maybe he was d-drunk,” she stammered, trying to keep back anymore tears.

“Maybe...” I responded. Nope, he was definitely sober.

She suddenly turned towards me. “Is it always that easy for you?”

“Kind of...” Actually, usually it's a least a little more challenging.

“You must laugh at women like me. We can't even hold onto one guy.” Her tears began to fall freely.

“What? No I don't think that at all!” How did this conversation suddenly become about me!

She shook her head. “No it's okay. I'm pitiful aren't I?”

The only one pitiful here is me.

She stood up. “I got to go...”

“Ayumi.” I reached for her hand, but she jolted it away.

“Don't touch me!” She yelled. She quickly left before I could say anything.

Great. This is why I didn't want to agree to something this stupid!

I cupped my face in my hands.

Why did I agree to this? And why did it suddenly feel like my fault that this all happened?

Before I could stop myself, tears fell from my eyes as well. I hated crying in public...

Seriously, wasn't there any good guy out there? One who would stay true. Comfort me when I'm crying. Warm me when I'm cold. Release me from my insecurities about relationships?

“It's not good to cry in public. It shows weakness and you become man-bait just waiting to be picked up.” A familiar voice came from in front of me.

I wiped some of the tears on my face as I looked up to see who was speaking.

I sniffled, “M-Matsumoto-san?”

Matsumoto rolled his eyes and took the seat where Ayumi was previously sitting. “Here.” He took out a handkerchief that was shoved in his pocket.

“Um, thank you...” I took it and dabbed it against my face.

He leaned back, crossing his legs. “Do I even want to ask what happened?”

I stayed silent, continuing to press the handkerchief against my face. “This smells good too...” I whispered.

“What?” He leaned a little more forward to hear me.

I flushed red. I didn't mean to say that out loud! I shook my head. “It's nothing. Aren't you supposed to be touring?”

“We are holding a concert at Tokyo Dome tomorrow.”

“Oh...” I had for the most part finished drying my face. I rubbed my arms a little.

He rolled his eyes again, taking off his jacket. He draped the jacket over my shoulders. “For someone who gets cold easily, you should wear a thicker jacket.”

The familiar sweet-smelling scent once again surrounded me.

“Ne, Matsumoto...why are guys such jerks?” What was I doing asking him such a stupid question!?

“Girls like you make it too easy.” He folded his arms, content in his answer.

I grimaced. Not really the answer I was looking for. “How so?” I asked, trying to hold back my anger.

He shrugged, a little smirk revealed on his face. “You make it fun because you get so cute when you're angry.”

I sighed. “I'm not in the mood for our game right now Matsumoto. I don't want to be flirted with.”

“Why would I flirt with you? You aren't even my type. I'm just stating the facts.” He leaned his head back to look up at the dark night. “Come to my concert tomorrow.”

“What?” I was still trying to hold back from hitting him right now. Why was he suddenly inviting me to his concert?

He sat up again. “It'll make you feel better.”

I folded my arms and turned away from him. “Tch, seeing you does not make me feel better.”

“Then watch the other members. I'm sure Aiba messing up will be enough to make you feel better.”

I thought about it. Aiba did seem the mistake-prone type. How does Matsumoto and him get along!?

“Fine...it better make me feel better.” I kept looking the other way.

I heard him chuckle.

“Let me take you home.”

Chapter 6

“Let me take you home.”

I suddenly felt very drained as I walked behind Matsumoto. Crying always makes me tired and as I began thinking again why I was crying in the first place, it was hard to hold tears back.

The way Ayumi talked to me felt like some sort of skank. Sure it's easy for me to get guys, but it's impossible for me to make them stay.

I've tried that whole relationship thing in high school. I guess it's high school so it seems like people would mature, but in some ways it gets worse as people sleep around with whomever they like; relationship or no.

I had dated some guys and as usual it was easy for guys to like me. I didn't even have to try since I grew up in a family where looks were very important so my mother wouldn't let me leave the house with decent makeup and clothes on. As a naive girl, I was happy that guys liked me, but in the end they were nothing but scumbags. I bore them since I would do nothing more than a small kiss. After all, I was still innocent and was content with that sort of relationship.

So looks aren't enough to make a guy stay...

“You alright?” Matsumoto turned his head so I was within view.

I broke out of my thoughts. “Uh, yeah.”

We stopped in front of my door. “Well, thanks for walking me home.” I took his jacket off and handed back to him.

He took it back, but didn't leave. He examined me. I was expecting another snotty comment, but instead what came out of his mouth was: “I can stay if you want.”

I had to consciously not open my mouth in surprise. “W-what?” I squeaked.

“Something is up. You were quiet most of the walk home. I can be a pretty good listener if you need me.”

I was at a loss of words. This was actually kind of him. I hate to refuse his kindness, but I'm not really the type to spill all my sorrows. Especially to a guy.

“No, that's a-alright.” I began sniffing again. D*mmit, what a bad time to start crying!

He sighed loudly, rolling his eyes. “Come on.” He went inside without invitation.

I kept sniffing as I followed him to the couch. Toshi ran from my bedroom to see me, but once he saw Matsumoto he started barking.

“Shh, Toshi. Stop, you are going to wake the neighbors,” I scolded.

He kept on barking. Matsumoto timidly put his hand on Toshi's head, but Toshi growled. I stood up to put Toshi in my room. “Sorry, he is usually pretty friendly.”

Matsumoto seemed a little sad. “It's okay. Animals don't seem to like me too much.”

I looked over at his coat I was previously wearing. “Wait, hand me your coat.” He raised an eyebrow, but handed it to me.

I placed the coat in front of Toshi's snout. “Here, you remember this smell right?” After a whiff Toshi quieted down and wagged his tail. “Here,” I tossed the coat back over to Matsumoto. “You can try petting him now.”

Matsumoto looked unsure, but tried to pet Toshi again. This time Toshi sniffed Matsumoto's hand and wagged his tail in recognition. Matsumoto was surprised when Toshi then jumped onto the couch in between us and cuddled close to him.

I chuckled. “You don't have to be so stiff. He just wants you to keep petting him.”

“Urm, okay.” Matsumoto patted Toshi's head.

“No wonder animals don't like you. Try more like this.” I grabbed his hand and force it to stroke Toshi's body. “See?” I looked back up at him. His eyes were big as he looked at my hand and his. I instantly took mine off of his. “Oh, sorry.”

He continued petting Toshi as if nothing happened. “So...” He searched for a conversation.

“You seem a little better now...” He finally commented.

I stared down at my hands and shrugged.

“What happened? Some guy break up with you?” He asked, totally serious.

I shook my head and took a breath. I ended up telling him the whole story.

Why was I telling him all of this? We weren't even friends. But there was something about him that was easy to talk to...

“Are you stupid!” He scolded.

Okay, so that side of him wasn't easy to talk to.

“Probably...” I knew it was stupid too.

“You don't just flirt with random guys like that! Don't you know you're a girl? He could have easily hurt you! Do you seriously do this all the time?” He was becoming increasingly angry.

I was surprised because I didn't know it was the flirting part he would get mad at.

I slowly nodded my head. “But—” I began protesting.

Matsumoto cut me off. “Stop doing that. No wonder you're man-bait all the time, you practically hand yourself out like free tissues on the street!”

“I don't sleep around!” My voice rose.

“It doesn't matter! Some guy is going to take advantage of you!”

Toshi jumped off the couch as Matsumoto and I got closer and closer, continuing to yell at each other.

“I can handle myself! I'm not some weak little girl!”

Matsumoto then did the unthinkable. He pushed me back and forced a kiss on me.

My eyes were wide as he sat back up. “See? If I can do that than any guy can.”

I stood up angrily. I was shaking in anger as I stood in front of him. I then slapped him as hard as I could.

I stared at my feet as I pointed to the door. I didn't want him to see me crying. “Leave.”

“No. You still don't understand what I'm saying.” He stubbornly kept sitting on the couch, rubbing his cheek.

“I SAID LEAVE!” I yelled as loudly as I could. My volume even surprised me. I don't think I've ever yelled that loud in my entire life.

He stood up. “NOT until you stop your stupid games!”

I pushed him towards the door, but he barely budged. I finally gave up with pushing. It obviously wasn't going to do anything.

I finally looked up with him. Tears staining my face. “What? You can mess around because you're a guy? So guys can do whatever they please? Men have justification to play around because they are strong?” I hit his chest all while saying this.

This time he stayed quiet.

I hit his chest again. “You are the worst type of man! Playing with girls and their feelings just because you're a celebrity. It because of guys like you that I hate men so much!”

I covered my face. I was ashamed to be crying this much in front of him.

“Fine. I'll leave.” He turned towards the door and walked away. “But Rina, you aren't nearly as strong as you make yourself out to be.” He slammed the door.

I fell to my knees wailing. I have never been this mad at one person before! He, he even kissed me!

I looked over at the couch. His jacket was still lying there. I forcefully grabbed the jacket, ready to rip it to pieces. But as I held the jacket, my arms fell limp.

He kissed me...

Everyone kept their distance from Jun. It was obvious he was in a bad mood. His instructions were commanding and he was more picky than normal.

Although he was into each and every detail, his mind was somewhere else.

That morning he had gone to the Jimisho to give Rina the tickets for the concert today, but Shiori had said Rina was taking a sick day.

Tch, sick day.

He regrettably gave Shiori the two tickets instead and said to give it to Rina if she get get a hold of her. If not, the tickets were all hers.

After practice, Arashi ate their dinner while preparing themselves for the concert. Jun kept thinking back to hearing Rina's cry through the closed door.

A girl has never made him feel so despicable.

Everything she had said had some truth to it. He did like to mess around with girls. And why not? They were the ones that were offering themselves to him.

He then thought of Rina and how she offered herself to guys. It made his blood boil. How could she do that!?

He had to keep himself from asking Shiori for Rina's number. He knew he would just fight with her again. But still, he was worried. What if she was purposefully put herself out there in rebellion right now?

“Hey Jun, are you going to be alright?” Sho courageously took a seat next to him.

“Yeah...” Jun responded not-too-convincingly. It was hard to have to fake a smile during performances when he was actually angry and this was going to be a full concert.

“Okay...” Sho was still worried. “Is there anything we can do?”

Jun shook his head. “No, I'm alright.” He dug for his mp3 player in his bag. Maybe some music would calm him down.

He closed his eyes, trying to concentrate on the music.

He had kissed her...

Why did he do that? Of course she would be mad!

But he himself didn't know the answer to why he kissed her. It was to prove what he was arguing, but he didn't even think about kissing her to prove his point before then. He just sort of...kissed her...

Jun messed with his hair. The whole situation was so irritating!

“Get in positions!” A staff member called into Arashi's dressing room.

Jun yanked out his headphones. It had hardly calmed him down since he kept getting lost in his thoughts. Hopefully everything will go well during the concert despite his horrible mood.

When Arashi spread out on the stage, Jun searched the seats for Rina. After finding the spots where she was supposed to be seating she found Shiori and...some other girl...

His heart dropped. She must still be mad...

I stared into the mirror. My eyes were completely swollen. I hardly slept and cried too much last night. I picked up my phone and called Shiori. There was no way I was going to work looking like this.

Plus, I didn't want to see that stupid Matsumoto's face.

After finishing up my phone call with Shiori, I made my way over to my couch and turned on a movie. I was feeling a little lazy today so I kept my sweats on and pulled my hair in a messy bun.

By the time I finished the movie, I received another call from Shiori.

“What's up?” I answered.

“Hey! So Matsujun just gave us tickets to see Arashi's concert today! Please tell me you are at least well enough to see an Arashi concert!”

Oh, I had forgotten he had invited me to see his concert.

Of course, that was before I got mad at him...

“You know, I'm still not feeling well, but I have an idea, invite Ayumi. She really needs a pick-me-up since she just broke up with her boyfriend.”

“Are you sure? He seemed pretty specific about you.”

Of course he was specifically inviting me. He probably wanted to show off how many girls screamed his name during his performances.

“I'm sure. She needs it more than me and I don't feel like going anyway.” Definitely didn't feel like going.

“Alright, but I'm sure Matsujun isn't going to be too happy about this.”

“What makes you say that?”

“He seemed to be in a really bad mood this morning...I was seriously afraid for my life when I told him you were taking a sick day! You owe me big time!” She exclaimed.

I tried to imagine the situation. It was a little easier to imagine now that I had seen him angry.

I chuckled, “I'm sorry you had to go through that. He gets pretty moody, huh?”

“Oh for sure! When he is mad, even Arashi keeps their distance! I feel bad for those boys, especially Aiba. They are supposed to by hyping themselves up for the concert, but Matsujun's mood will definitely affect them...Oh Rina? I need to go! I hope you feel better!”

“Oh alright. Bye!” I hung up the phone.

Now I felt kind of bad. I couldn't help but feel that his bad mood was partially my fault. Now Arashi was going to suffer because of it...

I glanced over towards Matsumoto's coat. I would have to see him eventually...

Jun ran to the showers right after the concert. The concert went pretty well and it did help him get out of his really bad mood.

He had decided that he should see Rina after the concert. They would probably end up fighting again, but he really wanted to see her again.

He dried his wet hair with a towel as the other members began their showers.

“Going somewhere?” Ohno asked as he too came out of the shower. He was usually pretty quick about his showers.

“No where important,” Jun responded. He didn't want to raise too much suspicion. The guys might get the wrong idea about him and Rina.

Actually, what was the right idea about them? Friends? No, she probably hates him too much for that. Co-workers? If that was so why was he going over to her apartment?

Frankly, he didn't even know what his and Rina's relationship was.

“We were thinking about getting some drinks after this. Want to come?” Ohno invited.

Jun thought about it. Maybe going out for drinks would be better. If he visited Rina right now, it would just put him in a bad mood all over again.

He smiled. “Sounds great.”

There was a loud knock against my door. I paused my movie and looked over at the clock. Seriously, who would be visiting at this time of night?

I sighed. “Hai, hai...”

I opened the door to something quite unexpected.

A drunk Matsumoto.

A very drunk Matsumoto.

I folded my arms. “What do you want?” I asked angrily. Not that I expected his answer to make sense judging by how much he was swaying. I'm even surprised he found apartment being that drunk.

He fell towards me. I caught him, but ended up falling to the ground with him. I instantly covered my nose. “Ugh, how much did you drink!?”

He was totally passed out on top of me. I struggled to push him off of me. Once I did, I took a big breath of relief. I then looked over at him now lying on his back, sleeping peacefully. He seemed so harmless with that cute of a sleeping face...

I caught myself staring at him and quickly shook my head. “No, no, no. I'm still mad at him.”

Once again I looked at him. What should I do? He is so drunk, I don't think I can get him home.

Then something occurred to me. My lip curled into an evil grin.

Time for some revenge Matsumoto.

Chapter 7

I felt weird as I pulled Matsumoto to my bed and took off his pants.

No, I'm not molesting him during his sleep. That's just disgusting.

I kept his boxers on because there was no way I was going to see his junk, but I did remove the rest of his clothes. I then pulled the covers over him in satisfaction. I already couldn't wait until he woke up.

I decided to sleep on the couch. It wasn't as comfortable as my bed, but I didn't want to share a bed with him. I smiled to myself. It was time for some payback.

I rubbed my eyes as light entered the blinds. I scratched my head while yawning.

Oh right!

I quickly got up and began preparing some breakfast.

There was something wet. Why was it so wet?

Jun slowly opened his eyes. Some dog was licking his face.

Why was there a dog here? He didn't have a dog.

He pushed the dog away, rubbed his eyes, and began scanning the room.

Wait, this wasn't his room!

He sat up. His clothes were scattered all over the place. His head hurt so it was hard to remember exactly what happened. He looked back over at the dog who was wagging his tail next to Jun.

Isn't this...isn't this Rina's dog?!

“Shoot!” He got up and grabbed his clothes.

I hummed as I heard footsteps coming out of the bedroom. I smirked. This was going to be too much fun.

Matsumoto was still rubbing his head. Totally lost and confused.

“Oh, you're awake. How about you take a seat? Breakfast will be ready soon.”

Matsumoto obediently took a seat at the table, but was still trying to make sense of the whole situation. I set breakfast down in front of him. He didn't take a bite. Instead he stared blankly at me.

I smiled. I sat on his lap, facing him. I put my arms around his neck. “Last night was fun.” I cringed at what I had to do next. I lightly kissed his lips. It wouldn't be convincing enough if I didn't.

Matsumoto's face was priceless. It was so hard to refrain from laughing.

I tilted my head cutely. “What's wrong?”

Matsumoto rubbed his forehead. “...It's nothing...” He slightly pushed me aside so he could eat.

After he had finished eating, he quickly got up. “I should go.”

I pouted. “So soon?”

He nodded. “Sorry. I have work.” He opened the door to leave.

“Oh wait!” I went to grab his coat. I don't want him coming over again like he did last night. “Here, you forgot this.”

I could tell he was still in a daze as he took the coat and left.

When I was pretty sure he was within earshot I cracked up. Oh this was going to be too much fun. This will teach him not to come to my apartment when he's drunk or sober!

Of course, I didn't fully understand how much this was going to affect him...

The moment I made eye contact with Matsumoto who was entering the Jimisho, he instantly looked away. By looking away he didn't realize that the revolving door was going slower than he expect so he slightly bumped into the glass door.

He furrowed his eyebrows, but walked past the front desk as if nothing had happened.

This wasn't the first time something like this had happened since that night either. The cool, smooth Matsumoto had suddenly transformed into the clumsy Matsumoto.

Aiba stopped by the front desk during his lunch break, giving his usual cheerful “Hi!”

Shiori the leaned forward towards him, waving him closer so she wouldn't have to speak too loud. “Ne, Aiba. Does Matsujun seem a little...off to you?”

Aiba nodded his head. “Yeah! I noticed too! He keeps messing up on dance steps he doesn't usually mess up on! It's making his really scary!” Aiba shuddered at the thought of angry Matsumoto. “Oh and guess what!” Aiba scooted closer. “Do you remember that one girl that kept calling him?”

Shiori nodded her head, deeply enthralled in the gossip.

“Well...” Aiba began whispering. Something I didn't know he could do with his loud mouth. “He's been ignoring her calls! And today he finally picked it up and guess what he said?”

“What?” Shiori's eyes were big.

“He yelled, 'Stop calling me you slut!' and then he suddenly got serious and told her to value herself more! Can you believe that?”

Shiori covered her mouth. “He rejected her?”

I smirked. Maybe he had learned a thing or two from me. But I was still worried about him being so clumsy recently. I hadn't even gotten to the best part of my plan!

Just then Matsujun walked by.

“Hi Matsujun!” Shiori tried to call him over.

He looked over at Shiori and Aiba, then me. He looked down again and continued walking.

“Hmph. He is even ignoring me!” Shiori complained.

I sighed. What a pain. Maybe I would just confront him now. Although I'm pretty sure the next part of my plan would make him worse. Somehow my sadistic side was coming out during all of this.

“Hey, I'll be right back,” I excused myself and chased down Matsumoto.

When I finally caught up with him I called out to him. “Oi!! Slow down!”

He stopped and turned his head. When he saw it was me he looked down at his feet again.

I caught my breath and then looked him seriously in the eyes. “Matsumoto...” I paused.

“What?” He snapped.

I clenched my skirt. “I...I...” Maybe I'll add another “I” for effect. “...I...”

“Just get on with it!” He yelled.

“I'm pregnant,” I whispered. I didn't want my revenge getting around as a rumor.

His eyes were big. “W-w-what? Are you sure?”

I shyly nodded. Oh this was too much fun. Once again I have seen a priceless Matsumoto face.

He pointed to himself. “Mine?”

It was so hard not to laugh right now. I nodded.

Matsumoto rubbed his forehead. He suddenly crouch down, cupping his face with his hands.

“Rina...I'm sorry.”

Yep, that's what I expected. He was seriously like all other men. Always a hit and run.

“Rina...” he uncovered his face and stood up. He stared seriously into my eyes. “I'll marry you.”

“EH!?” I accidentally let out. I was NOT expecting that at all!

“I'll take responsibility,” he said solemnly.

I put my hand over my mouth. I couldn't believe this! I was not expecting this at all!

I finally removed my hand and smirk. “Well luckily for you, you don't have to take responsibility.”

“What?” He tilted his head, totally confused.

I crossed my arms and sighed. “I'm not pregnant.”

“What!? Then why did you say you were!”

I rolled my eyes. “You didn't even sleep with me. You honestly think I would sleep with someone I despised so much? I was just trying to show you that girls have power too.”

His eyes were big, I sensed some anger as well, but not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. He opened his mouth to yell, but then rubbed his forehead instead. “I guess I deserve it...”

Seriously, Matsumoto was full of surprises today.

He took a sigh of relief. “I'm so glad though.”

I laughed. “Why because you don't want to marry me?”

“No, I was worried that I had actually slept with you!”

I grimaced. “Is it really that bad to imagine you sleeping with me?”

“No, no, no.” He waved his hands in front of him. “It's just that...” He trailed off.

Now I was getting annoyed. “What?”

“I wouldn't want to hurt you like that! Especially after I had sworn to myself not to...mess around anymore...”

I lifted an eyebrow. “Swore to yourself?”

He sighed. “Everything you said was right and I realized I won't be able to stop you from playing around as well unless I stopped too.”

“Eh?” I leaned forward. Did I hear him right? He stopped messing around just so I would stop?

He kicked his foot against the ground. He obviously felt awkward talking about this. “Like you said. It's not fair that guys can do whatever they want and girls can't. So I was hoping...” He avoided eye contact and I swear, he was turning a little pink. “...if I stopped, you would stop...”

I thought back to what Aiba had said about Matsumoto yelling at that one girl. Was he actually telling the truth? Why did he even care?

“Hey Matsumoto?”

He finally looked up. “Yeah?”

“Make sure you don't mess up so often during work.” I turn around and started walking away. I didn't know what else to say! I was too shocked about what had all happened.

“Wait!” Matsumoto grabbed my hand, but instantly let go, embarrassed.

“What?” I turned back towards him.

“Will you stop?” he asked.

I shrugged. “Maybe.” Probably.

I turned back around and headed back to the front desk.

“What were you doing?” Shiori asked suspiciously.

“Nothing really. I really had to use the bathroom.”

“Hm?” She wasn't convinced, but she let it go.

Some old Hana Yori Dango episodes were playing on TV so I decided to watch. There wasn't really anything else to do.

Toshi snuggled next to me as I watched.

This show was like a girl's ultimate dream. A rich, bad boy who was really a nice, protective guy. Matsumoto did a good job playing the character of Domouji as well. Besides not being stupid, I guess Matsumoto could almost be Domouji.

There was no wonder why girls were attracted to him. He was good looking, he smelled good, he had that celebrity aura about him, but he had a short temper. He was probably has problems getting girls to stay with him in a serious relationship. I doubt too many people can put up with that stupid temper of his. The members of Arashi must all be saints to be able to stand him.

I watched as Domouji took a beating to protect Makino.

I guess Matsumoto could be really kind as well...like giving me his coat and walking me home. And he could be protective...worrying about guys taking advantage of me and today, he even gave up on his ways to protect me.

I shook my head. Why was I think about him this much!? I turned off the TV. Domouji's attractive character wasn't helping.

“Toshi! What's going on with me?” I asked. I only got a wag in return. “Tch, some help you are.”

Toshi continued wagging and I sighed.

I answered the door, Ayumi shyly standing there.

“Oh hey, come in.”

She took the seat next to Toshi, petting him a few times before speaking. “Rina...I'm sorry that I made you do that. I shouldn't have gotten mad at you after...”

I smiled. “It's okay.” I grabbed her hand. “What about you? Are you alright?”

She nodded. “I'm getting over it. Him being a jerk kind of helps. And thanks for giving me that Arashi ticket. I really needed it.”

“I figured. I was sick anyway so the ticket would just go to waste,” I shrugged.

“The only thing that was disappointing was Matsujun wasn't as into the camera as normal! I decided that Aiba is way cuter anyway,” she giggled.

I laughed to myself. Yeah, Matsumoto was probably in a really bad mood that day since we had gotten in a fight the night before.

Ah! Stop thinking about him!

“Oh sorry, let me see who that is...” I excused myself as I answered the door.

When I opened the door, Matsumoto was standing there. I pushed him back and close the door a bit so Ayumi couldn't see.

“Why are you here?” I hissed quietly.

“I wanted to see you.”

Chapter 8

“I wanted to see you.”

How could someone's heart not beat fast if a good looking guy said that to them!?

“Well I have my friend over right now. She just broke up with her boyfriend so she needs somebody to talk with right now.”

“Is is that one girl you were talking about that night?” He asked.

“Yeah. She is acting like she's fine, but usually she is more cheerful than this...”

Matsumoto pushed open the door and let himself in.

“Hey, wait!” I tugged at his arm, but it was too late. Ayumi's eyes were wide and she was covering her mouth. Her eyes darted between Matsumoto and me.

He took a seat on the other side of the couch. He bowed his head. “Nice to meet you, I'm Matsumoto Jun.”

Tch, he introduces himself politely to her. He was rude to me when we first met!

“Ah, I'm Sato Ayumi.” She bowed back.

“Oh hey,” Matsumoto realized something. “You went to our concert with Shiori didn't you?” He then glanced over at me bitterly.

Guess he was still mad about me not showing up...

Ayumi nodded excitedly. “Rina was kind enough to give me her ticket. You guys were amazing as usual!”

He bowed his head again. “Thank you.”

He has never been this nice to me!

He crossed his legs. “So, I have a question.”

“Um, yeah?” Ayumi nervously looked over at me. I shrugged. I didn't know where he was going with any of this.

“You aren't going to ask Rina to do something stupid like seducing your boyfriend again right? I really don't want to see her cry like that again.” His eyes became cold.

“MATSUMOTO!” I yelled. Yanking on his arm.

Ayumi started shaking her head violently. “Never! I feel so bad! Rina, why didn't you tell me you cried? I'm so sorry!”

“No, you don't need to be sorry Ayumi. I was the one who agreed to it.” I flashed a glare in Matsumoto's direction. “I think it's time for you to leave Matsumoto.”

“I just got here,” he said cooly. He turned back towards Ayumi and started talking to her again. “So you aren't with that jerk anymore right?”

I formed fists at my sides.

Ayumi and him were happily chatting, as I simply stood there.

“Jun. Please leave. Now.” I finally said. Although he was talking politely to Ayumi now, I can't believe he told her I cried and made her feel bad. It was unforgivable. I didn't like people to know my true feelings about things.

Matsumoto looked up, surprised. “You called me Jun.”

“I also said LEAVE!” I pointed to the door.

Matsumoto put up his index finger in Ayumi's direction, gesturing to wait a minute.

He stood up and got close to me. “Rina, what's wrong?” he asked quietly, try to keep our conversation private.

“What's wrong? What's WRONG? I told you not to come in, but you just walk in my apartment anyway. You casually take a seat and then you try to make my good friend feel guilty about something that was my own choice. And then, you don't leave when I ask you to! I thought you were known for 'reading the air'? I obviously don't want you here!” I shouted.

Toshi barked at the loudness of my voice.

“Oh shut up Toshi!” I yelled.

He backed up whimpering, finding comfort by Ayumi's side.

Matsumoto stared blankly to the side of me.

Hmph, no response?

“Rina, it's alright. I deserve to be scolded for what I made you do,” Ayumi nervously replied.

“You are just sticking up for him because he is a celebrity!” I pointed out angrily.

“Rina, don't take it out on her,” Matsumoto quietly intercepted. “I'll go now. I'm sorry for intruding.” He put his shoes back on and left.

I tapped my foot angrily. “Finally, he le—”

Ayumi threw a book at me. “What are you crazy? Why did you make him leave?!”

“Eh?” I pressed my hand against my head.

“He was being protective of you!” She scolded.

She rolled her eyes. “He likes you stupid!” She shook her head. “I can't believe the Yamamoto Rina, the girl who can see through guys and get them to do as she pleases, is so dense she can't tell when a guy sincerely like her!”

“Eh?” I shook my head. “No, no, no, no. He can't like me. I haven't done anything that would make him like me. We get in fights all the time, he thinks I'm stupid and frankly we always meet when something stupid does happen to me.”

Ayumi stood up and grabbed my hand while smiling. “Rina, sometimes people like each other for each others faults. He is probably around so many 'perfect' actresses all the time he find your...clumsiness refreshing. And frankly Rina...I think you like him too.”

“What?” I pulled my hand away. “What could possess you to even say that!?”

Ayumi laughed. “Because I have never heard you yell that loudly since we've met.”

“Well duh, it's because I hate him!”

Ayumi patted my head. “You're like a cute naive puppy. I don't think we've ever talked like this before.”

She sat me down with her on the couch.

“I actually envy you Rina,” she admitted.

“Because I can get guys easily? Believe me it's nothing to envy.”

“Well, before it was that, but now Matsujun? And I don't mean because he's a celebrity. It's because...well, you can express your feelings to him, unlike me with my previous boyfriend.” She leaned forward. “That is why I think you like him. You are comfortable telling him you're angry and frankly, I think that's great! Being able to be honest with one another is the thing people need most in a relationship.”

A relationship?

Oh no, I was NOT getting in a relationship with him! Or anyone else for that matter!

“I'm not going to date him!” I'm afraid to become that comfortable with someone... “And how can you of all people suggest that when you just experienced first-hand the pain relationships cause?”

Ayumi sighed. “Yeah, relationships cause pain. No matter how good the guy is, there will be hard times. But Rina, is that a reason to run away from it?”

“Yes!” I can't believe she was basically telling me to hurt myself. Is she a 'S' or something!?

“Wait, Rina...you, you haven't actually been afraid of relationships all this time have you?” A lightbulb suddenly lit up for her. “Oh my gosh. Everything makes sense now! No wonder you can't settle down even though you always have so many choices. You're scared of relationships!”

I was getting frustrated with this conversation. Did she really have to point that out to me? I already know I'm scared of relationships!

Ayumi put her hand on my shoulder. “It's alright Rina. If you need help, I'm right here. But my suggestion? Go for it! Give it a shot and see where it goes!”

I put my hands on my temples and shook my head. “No, no, no. I can't! Guys only want one thing for girls. Matsumoto isn't any different.”

Ayumi raised an eyebrow. “How can you be sure?”

“Because...” I thought of an excuse, but none came to mind. He had been worried when he thought he had slept with me. He offered marriage when I said I was pregnant...I didn't know exactly what kind of man Matsumoto was. He confused me with his way of handling things. Not to mention he actually stopped sleeping with girls for me.

Wait...he didn't actually like me did he?!

My phone buzzed on the coffee table.

“Unknown number?” I stared at the caller ID.

Ayumi just grinned.

“Hello?” I answered.

“Rina. It's Jun.”

“Eh? How did you get my number?”

“Um, I asked Shiori...”

“Are you kidding me! Why her of all people? She is going to tell everyone now!” I looked over at Ayumi, who could tell who it was just based of my tone of voice. She kept on smiling, giving me a I-told-you-so face.

“Rina, I'm sorry about today. I didn't mean to upset you,” he apologized.

I sighed. “It's fine Matsumoto...I shouldn't have yelled at you like that.”

He paused. “You can call me Jun if you like.”

I guess he called me by my first name, it would only make sense to call him by his. “Um...alright, Jun.” It made me blush. How did it slip last time?

I heard him smile. “How about we get something to eat later? My treat for making you so mad.”

“Okay, but no backing out from paying!”

He laughed. “Okay. Sato-san is still over there isn't she?”

I looked over at her. “Yeah, she's still here.”

“You better go then. I'll see you at work.”

We both hung up.

Ayumi was anxiously waiting. “So what did he say!?”

I put the phone down. “He just apologized.”

“That was pretty much it.”

She pouted. “There has to be more! You were on the phone too long for a simple apology.”

“Well, he told me he would treat me to something for making me so mad.”

“A date!?” Ayumi bounced right back.

“No, not a date! A treat,” I differentiated the two.

Ayumi chuckled. “Call it what you like. Aren't you going to save his number?” She gestured towards the phone.

“Saving a guy's number is the worst thing a girl can do. It puts us at a stupid state of mind where we are always watching it for a phone call or a text from a boy.”

“Oh, just save it already!” Ayumi grabbed the phone to save it herself. I reached for it. As we struggled it buzzed one time with an incoming text message. “Hm?” Ayumi flipped the phone open. She pursed her lips. “A text message too?”

I jerked the phone away from her. The message was actually from Shiori telling me that Jun had asked for my number.

Ayumi laughed. “See, it doesn't matter if you save his number or not! As long as he has yours, you'll be waiting for his calls and texts anyway. Might as well save his number so you can at least get a hold of him too.”

I sighed. “Fine.” I added a new contact and put his number in it. “There happy?”

“Yes and you should be too,” she nudged me.

“Okay, I'm going to sleep!” I stood up.

She laughed. “Fine, fine. I'll leave, but I doubt you'll get too much sleep tonight,” she almost sung.

I rolled my eyes as she left.

I made my way to the bathroom before going to bed. I pulled down my pants as I sat on the toilet. “Dang it...” I groaned.

No wonder I was so cranky...

I had actually slept fairly well despite Ayumi's prediction and my stupid female body.

Jun waved at me when he passed by, so I shyly waved back. Now Ayumi has put so many stupid things in my head I couldn't think completely straight.

“What was that?” Shiori asked.

“What was what?” I responded innocently.

She imitated my wave. “Did he call you last night? What did he say?”

Did it really matter? Why did this have to be everybody's business?

I shrugged. “It was nothing. We had gotten into a fight previously so he was just apologizing.”

“You fought with Matsujun?” Shiori's eyes widened. “Are you really alive right now?” She teased by pinching me.

I laughed. “Yeah, I barely survived though.”

Lunch time came around so I walked to the cafeteria. Tackey waved me over. I smiled and took the spot across the table from him.

“How have you been?” Tackey asked.

I forked some of my food. “I've been alright. Just regular life you know?”

It was nice talking to Tackey again. He had been busy lately so I hadn't seen him around as much.

Our conversation was pretty ordinary. Nothing special about it at all.

The Arashi members walked in, chatting energetically (especially Aiba). Tackey waved at them so they took their seats at our table once they had dished up their lunch.

I eyed Jun who was a couple seats down from me. He wasn't conversing much with the other members anymore. Instead he was eating his meal in silence.

“Hey Rina, you should come see me during practice!” Tackey interrupted my thoughts.

I smiled politely and nodded.

There was a loud screech from a chair. Jun stomped towards me. He grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the cafeteria. Arashi and Tackey only stared in surprise.

Jun pushed the door open leading us out to the hallway. He finally let go of my hand.

“What was that for?!” I rubbed my hand. He had pulled on it really hard!

“Are you really asking me that? I just saved you!” He said angrily.

“What?” I can't believe him!

“I seriously can't even comprehend what goes through your head. Why are you spending so much time with a guy who tried to force you!?”

“He was drunk! He is fine when he's sober. Plus what is he going to do in public?”

“It starts out being public and then you start going to his practices, and then—”

“Alright, alright. I get it. For some reason Rina isn't allowed to be alone with other guys, but it's okay when it's with Jun,” I stated bitterly.

“Well...that's because...urm...” He scratched his head.

I rolled my eyes. “Fine. I won't go with Tackey, just...try to control yourself better. People are going to start spreading rumors about us.”

“So rumors with Tackey is alright, but not with me?” Jun folded his arms.

“What are you talking about?!” How could Ayumi think I actually liked this guy.

“Tackey wants you...”

“Wants me?” I shook my head. What was he talking about?

“You know...” Jun responded awkwardly. “It's already getting around that you...give it to him whenever he calls.”

“WHAT!?” My mouth hung open. What was this place? An all-girl high school!? “Why didn't you tell me this before!?”

“Well I thought they were just stupid rumors going around. I didn't think that you were actually helping those rumors by hanging out with him during work!”

I covered my face. “Great, I sound like some sort of slut.”

My original plan back when I wanted to seduce Jun was to used Tackey to make him jealous. That plan had totally blown up in my face!”

Jun shrugged. “People here don't really care. I think most of the girls here get around at least a little bit.”

“Jun! That's besides the point. I don't want that kind of reputation!” Why does 'Jun' keep slipping from my mouth when I'm angry?

“Don't hang out with him!” He pointed out. “Then I don't have to worry about you and you don't have to worry about your reputation. It's a win-win.”

I pouted. Something didn't seem satisfying in giving Jun what he wanted.

“Why do you care so much what happens to me?” I asked. Might as well shed some light on his thoughts.

“Because you can't seem to protect yourself and your friends encourage you to be dumb so somebody has to watch out for you!” He grabbed hold of my upper arm in the midst of his anger.

“Gah! Something about you just pisses me off! You aren't my father!”

“Well since he isn't here, someone might as well knock some sense into you!” His grip tightened.

“Ha! You're kidding right? My father is ashamed of me because I'm still a virgin!”

Jun opened his mouth to yell again, but tilted his head, processing what I just said. “Wait, you are?”

“Yes!” I jerked my arm away.

He kept blinking, not able to make sense of the situation. “You're a virgin?”

“Didn't I just say that!?” I was still yelling even though he had stopped.

He covered his mouth, trying to muffle his laugh. “I'm sorry. Pfft. I just, pfft, wasn't expecting that at all.”

I hit his arm. “Stop laughing! What's wrong with being a virgin?!”

He shook his head. “Absolutely nothing. I was just, really surprised! I was certain some guy had taken advantage of you at least once because you put yourself in risky situations.”

I folded my arms and lifted my head. “Didn't I tell you I can handle myself? Don't underestimate me.”

“Still, you shouldn't broadcast that your a virgin like that. Guys...get excited about that.” He glanced down the hall to make sure nobody was around.

“Would you stop telling me what to do?” I groaned.

“Isn't it time for you to get back to work?” He completely dodged the last thing I said.

“Tch. Fine.” I stormed off, but Jun grabbed me first.

He flashed one of his idol smiles. “Have a good day at work.”

Why did he have to be a professional at smiling? It made it so hard to stay mad at him like that!

Double update today! Yay!

A/N: Before you start this chapter, I would like everyone to know that I do actually like Tackey ^^; I just decided to use him out of all the non-Arashi JE guys because he seemed the most "smooth" and I also wanted it to be someone who was a little bit older than Matsujun. Anyway...just keep that in mind, haha. I do love the real Tackey even though I make him kind of a flirt/player in this story.

That is all Thanks for the support as usual!

Chapter 9

It didn't surprise me when I answered the door and saw Jun standing there. This had been the fourth time Jun visited this week. Toshi ran up to greet his new best friend.

“Hey Toshi!” Jun rubbed Toshi's head.

I haven't really bothered to ask why Jun keeps coming over. It would probably lead to some kind of fight anyway.

“Okay, so I think you will like this movie.” Jun whipped out a DVD from his bag.

I groaned. “You said that last time! It was so boring though!”

“It's an action movie this time.”

“Oh...I guess it can't be that bad then...” I let Jun place the DVD in the player.

It wasn't nearly as bad as the last movie we watched together. I was leaning forward in my seat the whole time in suspense.

Right as it was nearing the ending climax, there was a knock on my door.

I pouted, readying myself to get up even though the movie was at the best part. Jun got up instead.

“I'll get it. I've seen it before.”

I smiled, “Thanks.” I went back to being sucked into the movie.

“Oh Sato-san, come in.” Jun gestured her inside.

“Hi Matsujun!” Ayumi cheerfully took off her shoes.

“Rina is at the best part of the movie, but it should be over in a few minutes,” he explained.

“Oh no rush. I was just coming to visit, but now I feel bad that I'm intruding.”

“It's fine,” he smiled.

“Jun!” I yelled as the credits lit up the screen.

He sat on the edge of the couch so Ayumi could have an actual seat. “Did you like it?”

“Yeah, but...they let him get away!! I can't believe it! I'm so frustrated right now!” I messed with my hair.

He chuckled. “But you still liked it? See, not all of my recommendations are bad.”

“Fine, fine. I'll admit to that.” I nodded. “Hey Ayumi, have you seen this movie before?” I held up the DVD case.

She smiled, nodding. “It was pretty good. Hey Rina, I actually came to ask a favor...”

I could see Jun perk up at the “favor” part.

Ayumi turned towards Jun. “Don't worry, not that kind of favor. I was wondering...could I borrow a dress? I have a date and I don't have anything good to wear!”

“Sure. It's not like I've been wearing them recently.” I guided her towards my room, Jun following behind. “Oi! Who invited you?”

Jun smirked, “Well a guy's opinion is important right?”

Ayumi nodded excitedly. “I would really love that!”

We entered my messy room and I led Ayumi to the closet. Jun scanned the room in disgust.

I snapped at him before he could even say anything. “I know it's messy! If it bothers you so much how about you clean it up Mr. Perfect.”

“I would, but...” Jun reached down into a pile of clothes and picked up a piece of underwear. “I don't think you want me too.”

Ayumi covered her mouth as she laughed. I turned bright red, yanking the underwear from his hands. “Don't pick it up!”

So it ended up while Jun and Ayumi were searching my closet, I was cleaning my room. Tch, shouldn't have allowed him back here...

“What about this one?” Ayumi held a dress up against her.

Jun tilted his head. “Maybe if you put this with it.” He grabbed a sweater from the closet.

Ayumi nodded. “I think I'll go with this then! I'm going to go try it on!”

While he waited, Jun sat on my (now clean) bed. I had just finished putting the last piece of laundry in my clothes hamper so I sat next to him.

“You have a lot of fancy clothes. Never thought of you being the rich type,” he commented.

“I'm not. Most of the dresses haven't even been worn...” I stared down at my hands awkwardly.

“Hm? Why not. They're pretty.”

“My parents are the ones always buying them for me. Some of hand-me-downs from my mom too.”

“Wow,they must love to spoil you,” he smiled.

I snorted. “Yeah right. Those dresses are nothing but a symbol of their constant nagging. You see my parents aren't exactly...normal...”

I took a breath. “My dad was a host and my mom was a cabaret girl. My family owns it's own host club...”

Jun's eye were wide and he sat up straight. “Wh—”

“How does it look?” Ayumi twirled in the baby blue dress.

I stood up and smiled. “I love it.”

“Matsujun?” Ayumi looked for his approval as well.

He blinked a couple times as he broke away from his though process. He smiled softly. “Looks great.”

“Who is the guy anyway? Is he rich?” I nudged her.

“He's a surgeon. We met a couple days ago and we haven't stopped talking to each other since he asked for my number!” Ayumi giggled.

“A surgeon? Is he a good guy? Surgeons are ones to be careful of.” I thought about my stupid older brother.

“I think so. He seems really nice and caring.” She smiled sweetly, obviously fantasizing about him in her head. “Anyway, thanks for the dress! I'll change back now.” She left for the bathroom again.

I sat back down on the bed, rubbing my forehead. “I worry about her sometimes...”

“Your parents own a host club?” Jun brought back our former conversation.

I shrugged. “Yeah.”

“What are your parents like?!”

“Look, I don't really like talking about it...I've tried to cut myself off from any dealings with my family. They live in a world that I don't want to be apart of.”

Jun took my hand. I was expecting him to say something in response, but he simply kept his hand over mine.

I could feel my body heat rising.

“Rina, I—”

“Hey Rina. Thanks again for letting my borrow these!” Ayumi entered the room, the dress draped over her arm.

I pulled my hand away and folded my arms. “No problem. I hope all goes well tomorrow.”

“Thanks. I'll go now!”

“I'll walk you to the door,” I offered.

“That's fine.” Ayumi looked over at Jun. She could tell something had just happened.

“Come on,” I insisted. It would be awkward again if I stayed with Jun.

Ayumi followed behind me and put on her shoes near the door. This time Jun didn't follow. He stayed in the bedroom, probably waiting for me to return after wards.

“Ganbatte!” She whispered to me.

“What do you mean?” I watched as she finished putting on her shoes.

“And I'm sorry for interrupting,” she was still whispering. She gestured back to the bedroom. “You should probably get back to Matsujun.” She gave me a wink before leaving.

I sighed. That's exactly what I was putting off!

I went back to the bedroom, but Jun was on the phone.

“Right. Okay, I'll be there soon then. Bye.” He hung up. “Sorry Rina, I have to go.”

I felt my heart drop a bit. Wait shouldn't I be glad?

“Oh okay...” I followed him out.

Jun opened the door, but turned towards me again. “I'll be working tomorrow so I don't think I'll be able to come over.”

I wanted to say something sarcastic like “Good, nobody invited you anyway”, but instead I said, “Oh okay...”

I guess I was getting used to him coming over all the time. It was kind of sad knowing he wouldn't bug me tomorrow.

“Bye.” He waved.

“Bye.” I sounded so unenthusiastic. What had come over me?

I guess it will a peaceful night tonight. Ayumi was on her date and Jun was working.

“Just you and me Toshi.” He rolled over for me to scratch his stomach.

“Or not...” I went to answer the door.

“Tackey?” I was surprised!

“Hey, have you already eaten?” He held up some Chinese food.

I shook my head. “No, not yet.”

“Oh good. Can I come in?” He asked.

“Sure. Come in!” I closed the door after him.

Toshi came running, thinking it was Jun. He slid to a stop when he noticed it was someone else.

“Cute dog,” Tackey smiled, petting Toshi's head.

Toshi was still a little unsure about this new visitor, but didn't mind the attention.

The Chinese food was delicious and Tackey's company was great as usual, but I felt a nagging feeling the whole time. I knew Jun hated it when I was with Tacky...

We decided to turn on a movie after dinner. It was just something that was on TV so it wasn't super great, but it wasn't horrible either.

Halfway through, Tackey put his arm casually around me. I felt uncomfortable, but I didn't bother to push him away. If it had been Jun, it would be a lot easier to scold him for doing that, but since it was Tackey...I wasn't really sure what to do.

It was fine, until Tackey leaned over and kiss my neck.

I jolted away from the shock. “Eh? What are you doing?”

Tackey pushed me down on the couch and kissed me. The scene was all too familiar...it was the exact one Jun warned me of.

“Wait, Tackey...”

He continued, sucking on my neck. I tried to push him away, but he stuck to me like glue.

He put his hand up my shirt and squeezed my breast.

I shut my eyes. I couldn't get him off.

I sighed. Thank goodness for the door. Tackey took a moment to look up, giving me the chance to push him off.

My neck was throbbing as I answered the door.

I gasped, “Jun? I thought you were working?”

“I got off early.”

“Thank goodness...” I whispered, but it audible enough that he could hear. He looked down and noticed a spot on my neck. His eyebrows furrowed.

He looked over my shoulder and saw Tackey leaning back on the couch. Tackey waved. “Hey Matsujun! What are you doing here?” He cheerfully asked.

Jun pushed me aside, stomping towards Tackey. He grabbed Tackey by the t-shirt. “I could ask you the same thing. What were you doing to her?” He clenched his teeth.

“Jun!” I tried to pull him off.

“We just had some dinner and started a movie.” Tackey titled his head to gesture towards the TV.

Jun hands tightened around Tackey's shirt. “Then how to you explain the hickey on her neck!?” He threw Tackey back into the couch.

“Jun, stop!” I grabbed his arm that was ready to punch. “Tackey, would you please just leave?”

Tackey willingly got up and backed away from Jun. “Um...I'll see you later.”

“You better not!!” Jun yelled back at him.

Tackey quickly ran out the door.

I didn't even get a chance to beginning the explanation before Jun redirected his anger towards me. “What the hell were you doing with him!? Are you stupid? I told you to stay away from him!”

“I know it's just...he brought dinner over unexpectedly and I thought it would all be fine, but...” I sniffed.

“Urgh! You make me so mad!” Jun totally messed up his hair in frustration.

“Then why do you come over all the time!?”

“Isn't it obvious? Because I like you!!!” He shouted. He then covered his face. “D*mmit, I didn't want to say it like that...”

I covered my mouth. Did...did he just confess!?

Chapter 10

“Because I like you!!!”

“W-what did you say?” I was still in shock. Ayumi was right?

He uncovered his face, revealing a deep red blush. “You heard me. Don't make me say it again...”

He was unusually shy about this. It was kind of cute...

Then something came to me. “Wait...doesn't this mean I win?”

“Huh?” Jun mouth opened a little and his eyebrows furrowed. “Is that seriously how you are responding to this right now?” he said on the verge of yelling again.

I felt my cheeks grow hot. How was I supposed to respond to him?

“No, um, it's just, um...” I gulped. “I don't understand...I thought you hated me.” I put my hand on my neck and remembered what had just happened a few minutes before.

Jun grimaced as he took my hand and pulled me into the kitchen. He rummaged through the freezer, grabbing the ice tray and emptying it into a towel. “Here, put the ice against it.”

I obediently took the ice and place it against my neck. We sat down at the kitchen table. Jun rubbed his forehead. “I still can't believe you let him in. What would have happened if I didn't show up!?”

I shrugged. “You did, so does it matter?”

He glared at me. I shivered. Did this guy really like me?

He let out a large sigh.

Jun instantly stood up. “It better not be him again!”

I stopped him from answering the door. “Let me get it.”

He clicked his tongue, but allowed me to be the one to answer the door.

“Hey Rina!” Ayumi greeted cheerfully.

“Ayumi? Aren't you on a date?”

“Yeah. I wanted you to meet him!” She waved a guy over. “This is Ryosuke.”

My jaw dropped. Today is a horrible day...

“Onii-san!?” I was horrified as he laughed.

“Rina-chan! You're friends with Ayumi?”

I pulled Ayumi inside. “Ayumi, why are you hanging out with him? Just being with him will make you pregnant!”

Ryosuke laughed again. “Awe, Rina-chan, don't say that!” He came in the apartment himself and pulled me into a hug. “You know mom has been worried about you?”

I shoved him away. “Who cares! I don't want to see her or you!”

He frowned. “Don't say that. We're family.”

I folded my arms. “I hate my family.”

“Ouch.” He acted as if he was hurt. “Hey, let's go Ayumi. I don't think Rina-chan wants me to hang out.”

“Urm, okay.” Ayumi timidly went back to his side.

I tugged on her arm. “No! You don't want to be with him!”

“Hey, don't bring Ayumi into our family quarrels,” he scolded.

“This isn't about you being part of my messed up family! It's about you being a total scumbag!” I tugged on Ayumi harder.

He shook his head. “You are always ruining my fun Rina.” He smirked, pushing my hair back to reveal my hickey. “But it looks like you have been having fun as well.”

Jun grabbed his hand, pulling it away from my neck. “I think it's time you leave.”

“Hm? Who's this Rina-chan? Boyfriend?” Ryosuke inspected Jun.

I blushed. “N-no! Onii-san, please could you leave?”

He shrugged. “Fine, fine. But what message should I tell mom and dad? You're doing fine?”

I clenched my teeth. “You don't need to tell them anything.”

He lifted an eyebrow. “Well fine. Let them worry.”

“Goodbye!!” I pushed him out the door and slammed it in his face. I took a breath. He is so annoying!

“Sorry Rina...I didn't know he was your brother,” Ayumi apologized.

“No...I'm glad you came. My brother isn't really one of the best men on the planet if you know what I mean.” I sighed. “Today is really the worst...”

“Why's that?” Ayumi tilted her head.

I rubbed my head. I was beginning to get a headache from all of this.

“Rina, how about you sit down?” Jun guided me to the couch. I took a seat and messaged my temples.

“Tackey came over today too...he couldn't really get the hint that I didn't want to make out with him.” I pointed to the hickey.

Ayumi took a seat next to me. “Oh. That's from Tackey? I thought...” She eyed Jun and then shook her head. “Nevermind.”

“Yeah...and then this guy,” I pointed at Jun, “almost gets himself in a fist fight with Tackey!”

“How was I supposed to react!?” He defended himself.

“I don't know. Maybe not getting ready to punch another idol in the face? You should know better than that!”

Jun clicked his tongue. “That guy was pissing me off.”

“That's not a reason to hit someone!”

“Maybe not, but THAT is,” he pointed to my hickey angrily.

“Um...I'll go now...” Ayumi awkwardly excused herself.

We stayed silent as she left. I didn't know how to respond back to Jun. I could understand his frustration. He had specifically warned me about Tackey and getting in those sort of situations with guys.

I sniffed a few times and rubbed my eyes to keep back the tears.

“Rina, don't cry!” Jun panicked. Very few guys are able to handle girls crying, I guess even the cool Jun was weak against them.

I sniffed again. “I can cry if I want to!” I yelled, returning to rubbing my eyes. “How can I not cry!? I was completely powerless and to top it all off, my brother knows where I live now!” I finally stopped trying to hold it back. I wailed.

“Ah! Rina!” Jun sat next to me, but awkwardly was trying to decide if he should hug me or not.

I looked over and him, lip quivering. “JUST HUG ME ALREADY BAKA!”

I didn't have to say that twice as he quickly pulled my head into his chest.

I don't know how long I was crying and for once I didn't feel pathetic doing so. Jun didn't say anything the whole time, but his body heat and sweet smell were enough to comfort me.

I backed away, revealing the wet spot on his white shirt mix with smeared mascara. “Sorry, I got your shirt dirty...”

“It's okay.” He put his hand on top of mine.

I could feel my face flush. “Here, let me wash it,” I offered.

“Hm? You don't have to.”

“The mascara will stain if you don't wash it now.”

“Are you sure?” He was still timid.

“Jun, just take the shirt off already.” I didn't quite comprehend exactly what I was saying until he unbuttoned his shirt and gave it to me. I tried not to act embarrassed as I put the shirt in the washing machine.

When I returned, Jun was sitting there naturally, watching TV shirtless. He must have done too many shirtless photoshoots to care anymore.

“What are you watching?” I shyly took a seat next to him.

“It's Nino's drama. Have you seen it before?”

I shook my head. “No.” As we watched it was actually really good. At the same time frustrating because all characters had major flaws, but I felt like I could relate to having such a messed up family (of course mine for different reasons). “

“Nino is a great actor. I keep forgetting it's him!” I commented.

“Have you seen Letter's from Iwo Jima? He went to Hollywood to film that,” Jun proudly stated.

I giggled.

“What?” Jun cocked his head.

“It's nothing...it's just, you're cute when you proudly talk about another Arashi member.”

“Cute?” Jun lifted an eyebrow.

“Oi, it's a compliment! It's better than how your fans will address you.” I poked his side playfully.

He jolted up, eyes wide, covering his side.

“Hm? Don't tell me...” I smirked. “The Jun that doesn't like being touched has a ticklish spot?”

He sat back down, pouting. “I hate when people find it...”

I tried to hold back my laughter. “The almighty Jun has a weak point.” I poke the spot again.

“Oi! Stop it!”

“Okay, okay. I'll stop, but just remember,” I pointed to him, “I know your weak point now.”

Jun frowned. “You better not even think about touching it again.”

I crossed my arms, “Then you better be nice.”

Jun held up his pinky. “Okay, fine.”

I chuckled and wrapped my pinky around his.

The buzzer to the washing machine went off.

Jun grabbed my hand just as I was about to get up. “Don't worry about it.”

“But it'll wrinkle,” I insisted.

“It's fine.” His grip around my hand became tighter.

“Jun, you can't go in public with a wrinkled, wet shirt and...” I looked him up and down. “You sure aren't going home shirtless.”

He looked down. “Really? I think it suits me.”

I playfully pushed him. “You're so full of yourself. But seriously, what are you planning if you don't let me get your shirt?”

“Well...I don't...have to...go home...” Jun voice got softer and softer.

“Huh?” I tilted my head. I didn't get this shy Jun that would come out every now and then. It was totally out of character.

Jun shook his head. “Never mind.”

He moved his hand, letting me get up to pull out his shirt. “I'll blow dry it a bit so it'll dry faster!” I yelled as I took the shirt into the bathroom. Jun didn't respond so I took that as an “okay”.

A few minutes into blow drying his shirt I called out to him again. “Hey Jun, I never got a chance to see your concert. I really want to see it too, but you're done touring huh?”

“I'll bring our last concert DVD next time I come over.” I jumped a bit when Jun was suddenly at the bathroom door.

I nodded and smiled. “Okay!” I turned off the blow drying and fanned out the shirt. “There! I think that will be good.”

Suddenly Jun came up behind me, placing his arms loosely around my neck. My heart was beating fast.

“Sorry, but I can't take it anymore,” his whisper tickled my ear.

How am I supposed to respond to this? and He's making my heart beat too fast! were two of the many thoughts on my mind at the time.

Chapter 11

“Eh!? What did you do?” Ayumi leaned forward in her seat. Somehow I ended up having to tell the whole story of what happened last night.

I scratched my head. “Well...I felt awkward so I picked up his shirt and gave it to him. He ended up leaving shortly after.”

Ayumi whacked me on the head. “Are you stupid? You are seriously stupid when it comes to a relationship!”

I rubbed my head. “Can you blame me? I've never gotten this far with a guy before! And we aren't in a relationship...”

“You could be! He gave you enough chances to say something! Rina, did you ever respond back to him?”

“Respond back?” I cocked my head.

Ayumi groaned. “He confessed to you! You don't just ignore something like that!”

I shyly looked down. “I-I didn't know what to say...”

“You like him don't you?” Ayumi crossed her arms. This is one of the first times I have seen her get so annoyed.

“Um...well...I don't know...”

Ayumi grabbed a nearby book and hit me on the head again. “Baka!”

“Oi!” I looked over at Toshi. “Aren't you supposed to protect your master!?”

Toshi yawned.

“Tch, some guard dog you are...”

“Hey, focus!” Ayumi redirected my attention. “Do you like him?”

“I already said I don't know!” I answered frustratedly.

Ayumi sighed. “This is going to be harder than I thought. Rina, you've never really liked someone before have you?”

My cheeks grew warm. I looked down and shook my head.

You can blame my upbringing on that...

“Okay, we'll take it slow then. Do you feel any different when Matsujun is around compared to, say, Tackey is around?”

I furrowed my brow.

“Okay, okay. Tackey might be a bad example right now, but I mean before that one night you guys were pretty good friends right?”

I didn't like thinking about Tackey. Ever since that one night, every time he walks past the front desk I always avoid eye contact. He didn't even apologize to me, not that I would have accepted it.

“Ayumi, it's embarrassing to talk about this!”

She rolled her eyes. “Fine, I'll stop pestering you, but these are serious things you need to think about before he comes over again! By the way, has he visited after that?”

I shook my head. “He's been busy with work. It's only been a week.”

“You should invite him over.”

“Eh? Why should I do that? He find his way to my apartment eventually.”

“Because as far as he knows, he has been rejected!” Ayumi pointed out.

Ayumi formed her hands like she was about to strangle me. “Seriously! Sometimes I can't believe this is the same Rina who used to pick up on guys from fun! Don't you remember? You didn't probably respond to his confession, he tried to hold you hand, but you found a way out of it, and he hugs you from behind, but you just give him his shirt!”

“Oh...” It wasn't my fault I had no idea what to do! Well, maybe it is, but I hadn't meant it to be rejection!

I definitely didn't mean it as rejection.

Ayumi stood up. “I need to go, but give him a call. I'm sure he'll be happy.”

I stared at Toshi who was lazily lying on the floor. “Ne, Toshi. What should I do? Won't this all just led to a broken heart?”

Toshi's head popped up and yawned in my direction.

“Toshi...” I hugged my knees, burying my face in them. “I think I might really like him...”

I slowly reached for my phone in front of me. Maybe I should call him...

I pulled his number up and stared at it for what seemed like hours. I closed my phone. “No, he's an idol. Idols don't stay long with one person. It's only going to hurt me in the end...”

I opened my phone up again. “On the other hand, he did stop playing with girls because of me...”

I finally threw my phone. “Ugh!! I hate this!” I dug my face into a pillow.

I jolted up. He-he wasn't here was he?

I timidly answered the door.

“Eh!? Aiba?”

“Yo!” Aiba waved.

“Oh, come in!” I gesture him inside. What is he doing here?

“Thanks!” He slid off his shoes and followed me to the living room.

“I don't mean to be rude, but...what are you doing here?” I asked.

“I was seeing how you were doing,” Aiba cheerfully answered. “You've seem a little off recently and it worried me.”

I smiled, “Thanks. You're a nice guy Aiba.”

Aiba awkwardly scratched his head. “Also, Matsujun has been worried.”

“What? Where is he?”

“He's been really busy with work. During practice he kind of slipped about his concern while talking to me so I decided to check on you myself!”

I hugged him. “Thanks.”

He blushed.

At that moment someone knocked on my door.

“Ayumi, what's up?”

“I'm sorry, but I left my cellphone here!”

“Oh sure, no problem,” I let her inside.

Aiba stood up when Ayumi came in.

“Ayumi, this is Aiba. Aiba, this is Ayumi,” I introduced.

Aiba bowed. “Nice to meet you.”

Ayumi tugged on my arm. “This isn't fair Rina. First Matsujun and now Aiba comes over!?”

Aiba laughed. “I'm more of a messenger I guess.”

“Messenger?” She tilted her head. Then she hit her hands together. “Ooh, okay I get it.”

“Is this your phone?” Aiba picked up the phone on the floor.

“Oh yes! Thank you!” Aiba put the phone in Ayumi's hand. I secretly smiled to myself.

“Um, I'll be right back. I need to use the bathroom,” I excused myself.

When I came back, the two were excitedly talking to each other. Aiba pulled out his phone and passed it to Ayumi. “Here, we should talk more! Put your number in.”

Ayumi nodded cheerfully as she typed her number in.

Should I call Jun? Aiba even said he was worried...

“Anyway, I should probably go. I just wanted to check up on you.” Aiba got up to leave.

“Actually me too. Just needed my phone!” Ayumi came to give me a hug.

“Okay, bye!” I walked them out.

I watched them as they cheerfully talked to each other. They would make a good couple...and Aiba seemed like a decent guy.

I shut the door and finally gathered the courage to pick up my phone again. “I should at least call him since he has been worried.” I pressed the call button.

After a few rings I was beginning to wish I hadn't. What was I going to say!?

“Rina?” Jun answered.

“Uh, hi Jun.” I could already feel my face turn red.

“Are you alright?”

“Oh, yeah. I'm fine.” This was so awkward! “It's just...Aiba came over today.”

“Aiba? Why?”

“He was checking up on me. He said...you were worried...”

“Aiba!” Jun growled.

“I miss you.” Where did THAT come from? Did that really come from my mouth?

I wish I could see his expression right now because he was quiet. He finally said, “I'll be done in 30 minutes. Can I come over?”

“I'll see you then.”

“Bye.” I hung up the phone.

I can't believe how awkward that whole conversation was! Why was it so hard to talk now?

Thirty minutes passed as I anxiously waited.

Then it came. His knock.

I rushed to the door.

“Hey.” He smiled tiredly. He was obviously exhausted, but still came. I felt bad.

“I'm sorry,” I stared at my feet.

“About what?” He was in the middle of taking off his shoes.

“You're tired, but you came anyway...”

He embraced me. “I missed you too,” he whispered.

We stood like that for a some minutes until Toshi woke up. He ran to Jun, wagging his tail, anxious for attention.

“Ah, Toshi-kun is jealous.” Jun patted Toshi.

I pouted. Stupid dog. I should disown you now.

“Oh hey, I brought our last concert DVD. It's our anniversary concert so some things are a little different from our normal concerts, but I think it's still pretty good.” Jun reached in his bag for the DVD.

As we sat down to watch, I realized I didn't really know too many Arashi songs. I recognized some of the super popular ones like Love So Sweet and I recognized Wish since I had recently finished watching the first season of Hana Yori Dango, but besides that they were all new to me.

It was amazing how well the fans knew each song and dance Arashi did. Also anything that an Arashi member would do, like throwing off a article of clothing, waving, smiling, kiss, etc., the fans would go crazy.

Then Arashi debut song filled the stadium and they rose from the stage. I only caught a glimpse of the plastic suits before Jun immediately scurried for the controls to fast forward.

“Eh? What was that? Why are you fast forwarding?”

“You don't need to see that part.”

I reached for the controller in his head. “I want to see it!”

“No! You can't see that performance, I don't look cool!”

I successfully got that controller and rewind. I busted up laughing once I did. The suits were completely see through! Arashi was messing around by hiding their nipples, but the whole thing was hilarious!

Jun struggled for the controller again. “Fast forward!” I finally let him have the controller, but before that I got to see the close-up of Jun embarrassingly bowing to the audience, covering his nipples.

I couldn't help it. I was dying from laughter. I would never imagine that Jun would ever let people put him in that type of costume.

Jun was angrily fast forwarding to a good spot.

I finally caught my breath. “Oh come on. You don't have to be upset by it. You performed in front of thousands of people in that outfit, but you're embarrassed that I saw it?”

“It's embarrassing watching myself in it! I can't believe I forgot about that scene!” he moaned.

“Well you looked cool during your solo so that makes up for this scene.” I sat closer to him.

Jun leaned against the arm of the couch, stubbornly ignoring my comment. I rolled my eyes and went back to watching the concert.

The credits scrolled across the screen and I turned to compliment him on how amazing Arashi was, but his eyes were closed.

When did he fall asleep?

I guess it made sense he would fall asleep. He was really tired coming in to begin with.

I watch him as he took steady breathes, loose strands of hair draped over his face. I leaned over him, moving some of his hair out of the way. He looked even more attractive sleeping.

I found myself beginning to stare at his lips. The way they slightly pouted seemed so appealing. I leaned closer to his face, planting a small kiss on his lips.

His eyes fluttered open. I scooted back in surprise. I hadn't expected him to wake up.

His eyes were big, trying to take in what had just happened. I shyly looked down. I can't believe I kissed him like that!

Jun lifted my chin with his fingers, staring deep into my eyes. He then pulled me forward eagerly, kissing my lips over and over again.

I put my arms around his neck, pressing more into his kisses.

We both stopped to breathe. He pushed some of my hair behind my ear, giving me a longing look. It felt nice to be wanted. To truly be wanted.

“How about we go out to dinner tomorrow night? I've never taken you on a proper date yet.” Jun sat up a bit and placed his arm around my shoulders.

I rearranged myself so I could lean my head on his shoulder. “Sounds nice. You still owe me too. You had promised to treat me because you had made me angry, but you never did.”

He scratched his head. “Oh right. I forgot about that.”

I pouted and hit him on the head. “You shouldn't forget promises like that!”

He jokingly bowed, “Sorry, sorry. I'll make it up tomorrow.”

“You better.”

He kissed my forehead.

He then stretched out and yawned. “It's kind of late. I hope I don't get in a car crash or something going home, I'm so tired.”

I rolled my eyes. “Fine, you can stay here, but,” I looked at his sternly, “you are sleeping on the couch.”

“Eh?” His mouth dropped, not believing what I just said. “O-on the couch?”

I folded my arms and nodded. “You aren't sleeping with me. I don't trust you enough for that yet.”

I stood up. “I'll get you something to change into. I think I have some old sweats you could wear...”

He moped as he followed me to my closet. “I might as well go home...” he mumbled.

“You're welcome to.” I had to dig far back to find some sweats that would fit him. Good thing he was a pretty lean guy.

“I won't do anything! And look,” he gestured to my bed, “you have a big bed. Plenty of space for two!”

“Nope.” I shoved the sweats into his chest. “How about you take a bath first? I'll set up the couch.”

He reluctantly took the sweats and went into the bathroom.

Meanwhile, I lied down some sheets and a blanket on the couch. I wasn't backing down from my decision, not matter how much I would like to. Truth is, I still don't one hundred percent trust men. Jun included. Right now he could be on a hormonal high and in a month it might wear off...I don't want to hurt myself in the future more than I probably already am.

Jun came out in the sweats pants and no shirt on, patting a towel against his wet hair. “Ahh, that felt nice.”

I smiled, “I'm glad. You've been so busy, you must be stressed.”

“Maa, I'm used to it.” He rubbed the towel up and down making some of his hair stick up.

“Hey, wait a second.”

I messed with his hair, making some of it stick up. “Have you ever tried a fohawk before? I think it would suit you.”

“Really?” Jun tried to see what I did with his hair using the reflection of the TV. “Jaa, maybe I'll try it.”

“We should probably both go to bed. Good night.”

He hover over me, placing a short kiss on my lips. “Good night.”

Chapter 12

“Ahhh!!!” I let out a loud scream even though I knew Jun was still sleeping.

Toshi yelped as Jun accidentally fell on him. Jun rubbed his eyes. “What?”

I ran out of the kitchen. “T-t-there's a huge bug! A-a-and I accidentally stepped on it!” I was still freaking out. It was so disgusting!

Jun yawned, “Just wash your foot.”

“It's still alive though!!” I pointed into the kitchen.

“Then why don't you get a shoe and kill it?” Jun said annoyed.

“I caaan't!” I whined. “You kill it!”

“Eh? Why should I kill it?”

“You're a man, right!? You shouldn't make a woman kill a disgusting bug like that!”

“I don't like killing giant bugs either!” He protested.

“Sheesh.” He got up grumpily and grabbed a shoe next to the door.

“Don't use my shoe! I'm going to think about the bug every time I wear it!” I complained.

“You want me to use my shoe!? Aren't I the guest?” Jun snapped.

“Okay fine, fine.” I covered my eyes. “Pick a random shoe so I won't know which one.”

I heard a slam against the floor.

“I got it Rina. You can open your eyes now.”

I peeked through my fingers. “Really?” I watch Jun put his own shoe back in front of the door.

He even used his own shoe...

I rushed back to my cooking, hoping nothing had burned.

Jun sat at the table. “Oi, don't I get some sort of reward? That bug was huge so I deserve one.”

“You're so grumpy in the morning,” I complained.

“How am I supposed to not be grumpy?! Toshi kept trying to sleep with me last night on a couch I barely fit on and then when I finally fall asleep, my girlfriend is practically screaming bloody murder become some bug!”

I blushed. He called me his girlfriend.

“Sorry about Toshi. I forgot to call him in last night. Alright, your reward will be...you can sleep on the bed next time”

“Eh?!” Jun's chair fell over from standing up too quickly. He turned red as he picked up the chair.

I smiled. It was nice to see the uncool Jun sometimes too.

I then pointed at him sternly. “But you better not try anything or you can't sleep over anymore. And also,” I put breakfast on the table for the two of us and sat down with Jun. “I don't remember you every asking me to be your girlfriend.” Not that I minded being called it...

“Ah,” Jun rubbed his forehead. “You're one of those girls?”

I cocked my head. “Those girls?”

“The ones that actually make guys say it. It's so embarrassing!”

“Hm? Say what?” I tilted my head innocently.

He grimaced, knowing I was bugging him on purpose. He pridefully took a bite of breakfast, refusing to say anything.

Whatever, it's not like I really needed him to say it. Hearing him call me his girlfriend made me happy enough.

“You should probably go back home to get a change of clothes.” I took the empty plates and began washing them.

Jun leaned back in the chair. “I'll just buy something on the way to work. I have enough time.”

“I guess that works too.” I turned off the faucet and dried my hands against a rag. “To-chan, come here! Breakfast!” I set down a fresh bowl of food and water as he scurried across the kitchen floor. I eyed Jun who was still leaning back, watching me. “Shouldn't you get dressed?”

He leaned forward, placing the chair back on all fours. “Yeah...” He reluctantly got up and dragged his feet to get his clothes. As he passed me, I grabbed his arm and pulled him towards me. I gave him a little kiss.

“Now you can get dressed,” I smiled.

“Hai!” Jun more cheerfully answered, practically skipping to the bathroom.

I chuckled. It felt nice to have that kind of affect on a guy. Especially someone I liked so much.

I ended up going shopping with Jun. I was impressed on how much he understood fashion. I guess being an idol can do that to a person.

“Hey Jun, how about this?” I lifted up a button-up shirt. He walked over to inspect it. “Then fold the sleeves like this,” I showed him what I was thinking by folding the sleeves.

He nodded. “Would it go with this vest and hat? I really like them.” He held them out for me.

“I like the vest, but the hat is too much.”

“Eh? But I like the hat!”

“Then buy it and use it for a different outfit. I think it's too over-the-top for work.”

He sighed. “Fine...So then the vest is good?”

“The shoes good too?”

“Yep.” Did he really need to check on every article of clothing?

“Go out with me?”

He chuckled while grabbing the shirt from me. “Jaa, I'll buy these then.”

“Eh? Wait a—” He had already escaped to the cashier. I put my hands on my hips. “Seriously...he totally caught me off guard.”

“Rina, let's go!” He waved me over.

“Coming!” I walked over to his side. He took my hand and we walked to his car, his new outfit in hand.

“Sooo?” Shiori leaned on the desk.

“What?” I tried to busy myself by making sure the stack of papers next to me were perfect.

“You came in with Jun today.”

“So? It's a coincidence.” I knew if I told Shiori our relationship would get around the whole building.

“He was in a good mood.” Shiori lifted an eyebrow.

“What's wrong with that?”

“Jun is hardly ever in a good mood in the morning,” she pointed out.

D*mmit Jun and his bad moods in the morning! It was going to give us away!

“So what was it? Coffee together? Or perhaps...you slept with him last night?”

Ugh! I hated how much everything had to be about s*x!! Don't people get sick of talking about it? Don't they want a normal relationship here?

“We ran into each other. That's all,” I insisted.

“Hm? The way you are getting defensive tells me differently.”

“It's really nothing Shiori...”

Jun walked back at the moment, giving me a personal smile while passing by. I couldn't help but watch. Was that guy really my boyfriend now?

“Doesn't he have work upstairs? I wonder why he came down here...” Shiori looked over at me suspiciously. I was still stuck in my daydream. She covered her mouth. “Rina...you...”

I snapped out of my thoughts. “Eh? What?”

“You...you don't actually like him do you!?” Shiori looked almost horrified.

“What!?” was my answer, but I know my hot, red cheeks were giving me away.

“Oh Rina, Rina, Rina...” Shiori shook her head. “Actually falling for one of these boys is like a number one no-no here. Especially Matsujun of all people!”

Now I was curious. “Huh, why not? Don't most of the girls in the building get involved with some of the guys?”

“Yeah, but none of them actually try for a relationship.”

“Well what makes you think I am?” I tried to hold my head up high.

Shiori laughed loudly. “Because I know you Rina. I know you aren't interesting in the whole 'getting around' thing. And you seem like a girl who is desperate for a real relationship. But believe me, with these guy, you aren't going to get one!”

What! Desperate?! The nerve! “Why is that?” I tried to hold back my anger.

“Because these guys are idols. Every girl wants them. And don't even get me started on the dangers with their fans!”

“Their fans?”

Shiori sighed and got closer to me. “Their fans can get really nasty. Especially with girls like us since we aren't protected like actresses and singers. And especially Matsujun's fans...ever since Hana Dango, his fanbase has increased and some of them get pretty crazy. And one more reason why seriously dating one of these guys is a bad idea: this is their workplace! If you cause too much trouble like with a break up or something, you are sure to be fired.”

“Shiori, it's fine. You don't need to worry. Jun and I aren't like that...”

She grabbed my hands and put them together. “Okay, just be careful! I don't want anything to happen to you!”

“I think I'm going to take my lunch break now.” I was definitely too mad to stay here.

“Alright. I'll see you in a few.”

I went up to the floor Jun was supposed to be on. I needed to vent and he was the only one I could vent to. I finally got sick of looking for him, he might not even be free. I texted him instead asking if he was free.

A minute later he responded he was getting off for lunch in a couple minutes so we set up a meeting place.

I went to the meeting place even though I knew he wouldn't be there yet. I leaned against the wall. I began lightly hitting my leg angrily. I eventually crouched down, hitting my leg hard.

I was so mad!! Why was it so impossible for one of these guys to have a relationship? It's a place that is practically raising unfaithful guys!

And I can't believe Shiori called me desperate!

“Rina!?” Jun quickly pulled me up. “What's wrong?”

I covered my eyes. I can't believe I was crying over something like this!

Jun shook me. “What's wrong!”

Now that he was here, I couldn't get the words out for some reason.

“S-S-Shiori lec-ctured me. She s-saw us t-t-t-together...she called me desperate!” I knew it didn't make too much sense, but that's all I could get out.

“Rina, take a breath. I don't understand.”

I sniffed, holding back anymore tears that might come. “Shiori is suspicious...she was saying how dating you would be a bad idea and then...she called me desperate for a relationship!” I started crying again.

Jun embraced me. “Don't mind her. She is just being a protective senpai.”

Although probably true, I didn't like him defending her.

“Oh, Ayumi is Sato-san right?” Jun tried to distract me with a different subject.

I nodded. “You forgot her first name?”

“So Aiba has been noisy all day. Ayumi this, Ayumi that. It's so annoying! Did you introduce those two?”

I wiped the tears on my face. “Yeah, Aiba was over and then Ayumi came over because she forgot something. They really clicked, but I didn't know they got along that well.”

“So it's you we have to blame for his sudden noisiness. Seriously, that guy gets excited over everything!”

“That's not a bad trait to have,” I commented softly. “It's cute when a guy has an innocent side to him.”

Jun pouted. “And I don't?”

I chuckled and gave him a peck on the lips. “Maybe not as innocent as Aiba, but you have some of those innocent moments.”

“Hm? When?”

“I'm not telling~,” I said in a sing-song tone.

“Oi! Are you saying I have baka moments!?”

I interrupted him before he started yelling. “Jun. Thank you.”

“Hm?” He cocked his head.

“I better go. I'm hungry and break is almost over.”

“I'll go with,” he offered.

“No. We don't want to add more suspicion. You can come a little bit after me.”

Jun frowned.

“We're still on for tonight though right?” I asked.

“Of course.”

I smiled. “Can't wait.”

Chapter 13

Jun opened his car door to let me in. Once I was situated he then ran over to his side and began driving.

“So, where are we going?” I asked. I felt a little awkward going on a real date.

“Hmmm, Italian okay?”

I nodded. I don't think I had too much choice in the matter anyway. Knowing him, he probably already had reservations made.

Once we had reached the restaurant, we were guided to a nice booth and given our menus.

“Hm, what do you want Rina?”

“Any type of pasta I gues—” I quickly covered my face with my menu.

“Huh? What's wrong?” Jun was completely taken off guard by my actions.

I slowly lowered my menu and scanned the room once again. Why is HE here!?

I titled the menu so Jun could see me, but my face was still covered to the man across the room. “My brother is here!”

“Brother? The guy from the other day?” Jun searched for him.

“No, my other brother. The one you met was the surgeon. This one works at my family's host club.”

“How many family members do you have?” Jun seemed to think this was a opportune moment to get to know about me or something because he didn't seem to concerned.

“I have three brothers and my parents,” I answered, keeping the menu up.

“Really? So you're the only girl? What's you placement in your family?”

“I'm the youngest.”

Jun made an unexpectedly worried face. “So you have three older brothers?”

I nodded. Was there a problem with that?

“Are you ready to order?” I jumped when the server suddenly appear.

We both ordered and I hesitantly gave the server the menu. I pushed my hair to one side, hoping that would be enough to cover me. This was not how I wanted to spend my first date with Jun. I probably looked like a freak.

“So what's the problem with your family?” Jun took a sip of the wine that was place in front of us.

“They're just really weird so I don't want anything to do with them.”

He chuckled, “I think most people get embarrassed by their family every once in awhile.”

“This is past embarrassment...I can't keep friends for that long because of them! Since junior high if I invited any friends over, they instantly fell in love with my brothers. My brothers were pretty much raised to being playin' scumbags so they would date my friends and then once my brothers got bored, they would break up with them. Of course, none of those friends ever wanted to hang out with me again. And then there are also the other stories of people who only wanted to befriend me so I would introduce them to my brothers...” I grimaced at the memory.

“Ah, I see. What about your parents?”

“They should probably win an award for being one of the few couples that are constantly cheating on each other, but never get a divorce...”

“Here is your food.” The server set the plates in front of us. It looked super delicious!

“I don't want to be rude, but...” Jun trailed off.

He took a breath, “Don't you sometimes act the same? I mean, playing with guys all the time?” He quickly tried to cover himself, “But it's not like you do it anymore so...”

I furrowed my eyebrows in anger. I looked down and stabbed into my pasta. “You wouldn't understand.”

He leaned forward. “I can try.”

I stayed silent as I kept stabbing my pasta. Jun patiently waited.

“I hate guys,” I murmured.

“Hm? What does that have to do with it?”

“Most of the guys I would mess around with were guys who were already cheating on their girlfriends and wives...they deserved to be hurt back,” I said bitterly.

“I sense that this bitter feeling goes back to your family?” Jun stated calmly.

I slowly nodded.

“Don't let them control your life,” Jun took another bite of his dinner. “Don't let your family keep you unhappy.”

“Well that's why I'm trying to break off connection with them...”

He snorted. “Yeah, but you are still thinking about them so you go out and do stupid stuff. You are rebelling against people who don't really care. You are just hurting yourself by trying to do this justice thing against guys.”

I wanted to be angry, but for some reason since the truth was coming from him, I didn't mind as much. Maybe I was still in that “new couple” state of mind.

Jun reached over the table to touch my hand. “Rina...” His face turned a little pink. “I'll make you happy.”

My heart raced at a dangerous speed.

“Ah? Rina-chan?”

I closed my eyes, wishing this wasn't reality right now. I took a deep breath and turned towards my brother.

“Ah! It is Rina-chan! Ryosuke said he saw you not too long ago!” He then turned towards Jun. “You're boyfriend?”

“Yes he is. What about you? What skank are you with today?” I gave a fake, sweet smile.

“Oi! Don't call my girl a skank Rina-chan!” He pouted. He pulled a chair over and leaned towards Jun. “But I'm interested in who's dating my little sister.”

“It's none of your business Shin.” I casually took a sip of wine.

“Eh?! I can't play the role of protective older brother?” He whined.

I rolled my eyes. “Just go back to your girl.”

He squinted. “A-re? You look familiar.” He scooted closer to Jun who was obviously uncomfortable with my brother getting so close to him.

I sighed, got up and tugged on my brother's arm. “Please leave.”

He shrugged. “Fine. Hey babe!” He called over to the girl waiting patient at his table. She walked over, placing her hands on Shin's arm. She smiled up at him. “This is my baby sister.”

“Nice to meet you,” she said in an (over-the-top) sweet voice. She then looked over at Jun. Her eyes grew wide and she covered her mouth to stop her shriek from being too loud. “Matsujun!!?”

“Ah! You're a celebrity? No wonder I recognized you!” Shin nodded his head. He then gave me a wink. “Nice catch baby sister.”

“Would you just leave!?” I was past annoyance.

“Okay, come on babe.” He had to forcibly drag his girl away from fangirling over Jun.

As the waiter passed by, Jun motioned him over. “Can we have a check quickly please?”

I wasn't quite done with my dinner, but I could see why Jun was asking for the check so early. Shin's girl had created a commotion. There was a lot more chatter around the restaurant as people pulled out cellphone to take pictures of Jun.

Jun leaned over to hid his face a bit.

“I'm sorry...my brother drew attention to you now...” I apologized, lowering my head too.

“Here you go.” The server put down the check. Jun pulled out cash for the dinner.

“Keep the change,” Jun patted the cash and pulled on my arm, walking rather quickly to his car.

Click Click

I turned. Shoot, cameramen are here already!

“Hey Jun, give me your keys.” I held out my hand.

“Just do it!” I snatched his keys from his hand.

He went on the passenger side, unsure about this situation we were in.

“Put your head down and hold on.” I eyed another man with a camera in a car across the street.

I floored the gas pedal out of the parking lot and swung into traffic.

Jun instantly sat up with wide eyes, grabbing the car's handle for dear life. “Are you crazy!?”

I sped past the other cars, once in awhile glancing in the rear view mirror. I didn't see the cameraman in his car anymore, but I still didn't slow down until we reached my apartment. It felt good to speed again. I hadn't had a car in a long time and this was a nice car. Perfect for going fast.

I screeched to a halt.

Jun was still holding onto the handle, taking deep breaths. He looked over at me. “I can't believe you just went that fast!! We could have died! I'm never letting you drive my car again!”

I unbuckled myself and shrugged. “We got away from the cameraman and we didn't get into a car accident so I think it was a success.” I handed him the keys, which he quickly snatched from me.

“I can't believe our date had to be cut short because I was recognized...” Jun mumbled as we went up the stairs.

I unlocked the door and let ourselves in.

“I can.”

Jun was on the floor taking off his boots. I crouched next to him. “Because these are hard to hide,” I pointed to his eyebrows jokingly.

“Oi! It's not my fault I have such dark, thick eyebrows!”

Toshi came over to see what the commotion was about.

I laughed. “They aren't a bad thing! They are just a very noticeable characteristic.” I patted his back. “You should take pride in your thick eyebrows. They look very masculine.”

“I'm not sure if that's a very good compliment,” he laughed as he stood back up.

We decided to spend the rest of the evening watching a movie. As we sat down on the couch though, Toshi conveniently decided to jump between us. He put his snout into Jun's hand, demanding attention.

“Oi, Toshi!” Jun complained. “I want to sit next to your owner!”

Toshi just nudged his snout against Jun again. Jun sighed and started petting him.

I folded my arms, chuckling. “I should be the one that's mad. Toshi prefers you over me!”

Jun smirked. “Don't worry, I still prefer you over him.” He leaned over and kissed me.

Toshi growled being squished between us.

“Oi Toshi, that's why you shouldn't sit between us!” Jun scolded. He leaned to kiss me again. Toshi got annoyed by being squished again so he hopped off the couch and found a comfortable spot next to our feet. “There we go.” Jun smiled as he scooted closer to me.

I giggled as Jun pulled me in closer. It took me awhile to realize we weren't watching the movie at all and we were slowing sinking into the couch. Jun become totally on top of me, kissing me more and more.

When was the last time I kissed a guy like this? Actually, have I ever kissed anyone like this?

“You shouldn't kiss a guy like this, Rina,” Jun was able to make out between kissed.

“Hm? Why?”

“It excites us too much.” He kissed my neck.

I paused. “Should we stop?”

He looked up, confused.

I blushed. “I mean...I don't want to reject you, but...” I didn't know how to completely express my feelings.

“You aren't ready?” Jun asked understandingly, sitting up from his previous position.

I sat up as well. “Sorry...”

He smiled and kissed me once more. “It's okay. I don't want to do it casually and you not feeling comfortable with it.” He pushed some of my hair out of my face. “How about you take a bath first?”

“Are you staying over again then?”

“Can I?”

“It's fine with me, but what about clothes? Are you going to buy them again tomorrow?”

He scratched his head. “Well, I kind of...brought some this time. They're in my car.”

My heart increased tempo. Once again, shy-Jun appears! It was such a rare side of him (especially on TV), but it was such a cute side of him.

When I came out of the bath, I heard Jun talking. I was expecting him to be on the phone, but instead I found him watching television.

“Were you on the phone?” I asked, taking the seat next to him.

“Hm? No, why?”

“I heard you talking.”

Jun rubbed his nose, embarrassed. “I...kind of talk to the TV.”

I couldn't hold it in and started laughing loudly. “That totally surprised me!”

“Oi, oi, oi! You shouldn't laugh that hard!”

“Anyway, the bath is ready.” I tried to hold in my laughter now.

He clicked his tongue as I let out a few more laughs, but soon after headed to the bath.

I flipped through the channels as I waited for him. Arashi appeared on the screen. “Ah. They have variety shows?”

It was actually really funny! The boys surprisingly show a real, almost dorky, side to them just like in the concerts when they wore those plastic suits.

I laughed out loud when they started picking all started picking on Aiba. Poor guy, he was so easy to make fun of.

There was then a close up of Jun laughing.

To think, that guy on the screen was in my bathroom right now and tonight he was spending the night.

My eyes went wide when I remembered this morning. “Ah!! I promised him he could sleep with me tonight!”

My heart beat fast.

A/N: FINALLY finished this chapter AND found internet access!!! Yay! Haha (I went through some withdrawals with no internet! I did the last update on my cellphone...). Anyway, I hope this chapter makes sense since like only a paragraph was written each day, haha!

Chapter 14

“Ah!! I promised him he could sleep with me tonight!”

Jun came out in a plain t-shirt and sweats. “Did I hear you laughing and talking to yourself?” He teased.

I tried to put my last thought behind me and laughed. “You caught me. I talk to the TV too.”

“I can't believe you judged me before when all along you do it too! What are you watching anyway?” He stepped past the entertainment system to see the TV. “Ah! You are watching Arashi!”

“I didn't know about this variety show you guys have. It's really entertaining! I feel bad for Aiba though. He is totally bullied by you guys and he is such a sweet guy!”

Jun folded his arms. “You don't need to feel bad for him. He brings it upon himself. Anyway, it's late...”

It's late.

I looked up at the clock. It was around 11 pm. I guess it was sort of late, but Jun and I both being night people, I found it odd for him to say that.

Sleeping with him tonight.

The connection was made. My heart was beating fast once again.

I know we had already talked about the s*x thing today, so I wasn't worried, but still...it was the first time sharing my bed with a guy. How could I not be nervous? Did I even have anything cute to wear?

My thought process took to long so Jun spoke again. “So, um, I'm going to bed.”

“Ah, yeah. I am too.” I turned off the TV and got up, still trying to control my heartbeat.

Jun waited until I was close to him to grab my hand and lead me to the bedroom. I eventually let go to look for something good to wear.

I should have pulled an outfit out before! Now I didn't have time to try on different nightwear since Jun was waiting. I guess it didn't matter. I mostly had sweats...I didn't really care what I looked like at home since it was usually just Toshi and me.

As I dug through my drawers, I found something light pink. I pulled it out in curiosity. What came out was some pink boxers and behind it was a regular baby blue t-shirt. I shrugged. I guess this would do.

I was about to change, but I felt Jun's eyes on me. I really wasn't used to having another person here. I turned towards him and lifted an eyebrow. I didn't have to say a word as Jun obediently covered his eyes and turned around.

I looked at the mirror once before telling Jun it was clear. It looked alright I guess.

I came up behind Jun, putting my arms around his neck. He gently put his hand on my arm. Time seemed to stand still.

Toshi ruined the moment by jumping on the bed and making a spot for himself right in the middle of the bed.

“Oi Toshi! Have you not learned anything today!” Jun removed his hand and scolded Toshi. Toshi wagged his tail in response.

I chuckled, taking my place on the opposite side of them bed.

“You aren't going to push him off or something?” Jun complained.

“Why should I? He's been my boyfriend longer than you so I think he has priority sleeping next to me.”

“What!? The stupid dog gets priority?”

I pulled the covers over myself. “Goodnight Toshi. Goodnight Jun.”

Jun clicked his tongue, pulling the covers over himself as well. “Even says goodnight to the dog first.”

I smiled. Although it wasn't the kind of night I was expecting, I actually preferred it. It was like putting my foot into the water before jumping in. I was able to calm down knowing that even though Jun was in my bed, he was a fairly good distance from me.

I rubbed my eyes. The sun was shining brightly in the sky. It then occurred to me that I felt unusually warm.

An arm was draped over my waist. Eh, Jun's?

I carefully rolled over to face Jun who was super close. Close enough that our noses almost touch.

I carefully watched Jun's sleeping face. It has become one of my favorites of Jun's faces. He looked so innocent and peaceful. A rare sight indeed.

His eye slowly opened. Once fully opened, he sleepily smiled. “Good morning.”

“Good morning,” I smiled back.

I could get used to this.

Two Months Later

“Good morning,” I whispered to the sleeping Jun beside me. I tried to quietly get up so not to wake him.

He has been really busy lately so he gets in super late every night. I hardly even see him except when he passes by at work and in the morning like this.

Once I had finished dressing, I heard him mumble and roll over. He slowly opened his eyes.

He smiled. “Good morning.”

I sat on the bed next to him and put my fingers through his hair. “You should sleep some more. What time did you get in last night?”

He stretched a bit. “Around 4 I think? We did filming for our new PV.” He finally sat up to kiss me.

I furrowed my eyebrows in disgust. “You taste of alcohol.”

“Ah, we went for a few drinks afterwords,” he explained.

“Do you need anything?”

He shook his head. “No, I didn't drink that much. I'm fine.”

“Well I'm going to continue getting ready for work. You sleep more okay?” As I got up he yanked my arm to pull me down onto the bed again. “I'm sorry I work so much.” He kissed me again, this time more passionately.

“You can't help it. I'm more worried you are going to pass out one of these days. All of you guys are working too hard.”

Jun pushed me down further and slightly hovered above me. He started kissing my neck. “I miss you though...”

“Jun, you need to sleep,” I repeated, but he just continued to kiss my neck. In one spot he began sucking. “Oi, Jun! Not in the morning!”

He paid no mind to my yelling and reached his hand inside my shirt. It crawled up my side until it reached my bre*st. All the while his sucking became harder.

“Ow! Jun!” I finally hit his head.

He finally sat up again, rubbing his head. “You don't miss me?” He pouted.

I kissed his lips. “Of course I miss you. But I'm worried about how much sleep you're getting.” I glanced over at the clock. “Oh shoot, I need to hurry!”

“Oh hey Rina, I put your mail on the table.”

“Thanks!” I rushed into the bathroom to make final preparation, but instead I came back out with wide eyes.

“What?” Jun tilted his head innocently, knowing exactly why I had come back out.

“Jun,” I angrily bit my lip, “Sometimes I seriously want to kill you!” I pointed to the giant mark he had left on my neck. “I don't even know how I'm going to cover this up!”

He shrugged. “Then don't. It's my mark on you.”

I hit him on the head again. “Don't act like you are all mighty right now! Sheesh, if your fans only knew how uncool you really are.”

Jun stood up and kissed the mark he left. “Sorry.”

“Tch,” I turned away. He knew exactly how to get to me. “I'm going to cover this up and go. You better get some sleep.”

“Alright,” he frowned, but crawled back into bed.

“Hey Yamamoto-san? Would you do this paperwork for me. I have some things to do today,” one of my coworkers put a giant stack of paperwork on my desk. She didn't even give me a chance to refuse before she left.

“What's this?” Shiori came back after getting some coffee. She thumbed through the papers. “Wait, these aren't yours right?”

I sighed. “Some girl left them for me...”

Shiori gripped her coffee in anger. “How long are they going to keep doing this!? It's pissing me off!”

“Whatever, it's fine. I don't have anything else to do today.” I grabbed some of the papers and began working on them.

“That's not the problem Rina! They are taking advantage of you. They are bullying you since you are dating Matsujun.”

I stared down at the papers I was working on, not sure how to respond since she was right.

A couple weeks ago the rumor finally spread I was dating Jun. Since then the girls in the office have been giving me more trouble than usual. I haven't really had time to tell Jun either since we hardly see each other. Not that I really wanted to tell him. Jun would get angry and who knows what would happen next.

It didn't bother me too much though. Jun has been so busy, the extra paperwork has been giving me something to do.

Still, the fact that people thought they could take advantage of me like this was annoying. I would say something, but they are my senpai.

Shiori sighed and took a pile of papers from my stack. “At least let me help you.”

“No! Shiori, it's my problem. I don't want to drag you in as well,” I protested.

“Rina, we're friends right? Let me help.”

“But...” my voice trailed off. Shiori was obviously not going to stand down. “Fine, but I owe you for this.”

She smiled and began working on the stack with me. I felt bad since she did warn me about dating Jun, but either way I would pick this over not dating Jun. He hada become such a big part of my daily life. We had the keys to each others apartment (we mostly stay at mine because of Toshi), his clothes fill half of my closet, and now I'm not sure if I could tell who's things were who's because they have gotten so mixed up.

I tiredly opened my apartment door. I ended up taking three hours overtime just to finish all the paperwork people kept dropping off to me.

“You are home awfully late. Did you go out with Shiori or something?” Jun was lounging on the couch with Toshi, watching some movie that I didn't recognize.

“Oh, I didn't expect you to be home already.” If I had known I would have come home earlier.

“Yeah, for once I didn't have too much work today. So were you out with Shiori?”

“No, I was working. Did you eat yet?”

“Working? You don't normally work this late.” He glanced over at the clock.

“Yeah...well a lot of paper work has been piling up so Shiori and I stayed late to catch up.” I walked into the kitchen, the table already set with dinner on the table.

I felt Jun put his arms around my waist. “And no, I didn't eat yet.”

“Jun...” I turned so I could hug him back. “I'm sorry I was so late! You should have called!”

“If I called, it wouldn't be a surprise now would it?” He took my hand, taking me to the table and politely moved my chair back so I could sit.

I took a bite of dinner and couldn't help but express how good it was! Why did I even bother to cook? Jun was way better at it.

“So...is something going on at the office?” Jun put down his chopsticks as he finished his meal.

“What makes you say that?” I took my last bite of the delicious meal.

“Aiba said something about you being bullied?”

Stupid Aiba...

“Ah, that reminds me! Has Aiba said anything more about Ayumi? They have been hanging out a lot, but nothing seems to be happening between them!”

“Rina, don't change the subject,” Jun leaned forward. “What has been going on?”

I picked up the dishes and put them in the sink. “It's nothing. I can handle it.”

“Would you stop that!?” Jun was suddenly loud, it made me jump. “Why do you still try to act so strong when it comes to stuff like this? Do you think I'm stupid, that I wouldn't find out? Can you not rely on me or something?”

“It's not that...” I looked down at my feet.

“Then what is it?!” I hated when Jun got angry. He could get so scary!

“Don't worry about it Jun! It's nothing big. Some girls are just giving me extra paperwork.”

I tried to leave the kitchen. I didn't want to fight about something this stupid, but he grabbed my arm. He stared hard into my eyes. “Is it because of us?”

I looked away and shrugged. “I don't know.”

“Rina!” He grabbed both of my shoulders. “Is it about us?”

“Does it matter!?” I yelled. “Jun, I'm used to girls not liking me. This isn't anything new to me.” I put my finger up before he yelled another word. “I'm going to take a walk. I don't want to fight with you anymore. Come on Toshi!”

I clipped the leash onto Toshi collar.

“Rina,” Jun pleaded.

“I'll be back soon.” I closed the door before Jun could say anything more.

Chapter 15

I slowly walked down the lit path with Toshi. “What's wrong with me Toshi? He's finally home and here I am taking a walk...” I stopped. “Maybe we should go back.”

“Hey babe!” Someone put their arm around my shoulder.

I stared over in shock. “Hiro?”

My oldest brother grabbed me closer. “Play along okay?” he whispered.

I looked around and smirked. “Some girl stalker?”

He grabbed my hand as we played the couple part. Out of all my brothers, my oldest brother was probably my favorite. Yes he was a host, but since he quite a bit older than me, he was more “brotherly” towards me.

He looked over his shoulder. “I think she's gone.” He let out a breath. “Geez, that girl has been following me all day! I keep telling her I'm not interested!”

“Hiro...” We let go of each others hand. “Are you happy with your life?”

He lifted an eyebrow. “That's a pretty deep question. Where is this coming from Rina-chan?”

I shook my head. “It's nothing really. I was just curious if you, Shin, and Ryosuke are actually happy. You can get any girl you want, you basically party for you job, it seems like you live the ideal life from some people's perspective...”

“But?” He urged me on.

“...Isn't it lonely?” I asked.

He gave me his brotherly smile. “Is this you actually worrying about us? That's rare. How about this Rina, are you happy? The little girl who still believes in fairy tales, is she happy?”

I chuckled. “Don't worry. I found out a long time ago fairy tales don't exist. But I guess you could say recently I have been very happy.”

“Oh?” He nudged me. “Did my little sister find someone?”

I blushed.

“I envy you Rina.”

“What?” He was kidding right?

He laughed. “You don't need to be that surprised. Ever since you were little, you knew exactly what you wanted from a relationship. You wanted what mom and dad don't have: honesty and faithfulness.” We took a seat at a nearby bench. “And now that I'm getting a little old for being a host it's made me think, maybe I want that too.”

I stared down at my hands. “To be truthful Hiro, a 'real' relationship isn't a fairy tale either. Maybe it was actually once I got a boyfriend that I stopped believing in fairy tales. You know how at the end of every fairy tale book it says 'And they lived happily ever after'? I think that's where the fairy tales go wrong...It is possible to meet that prince or princess, but the tales skip out in the most important part...continuing the relationship.”

I squeezed my hands. “There are times you get so angry and want to strangle your partner. Sometimes you might even think you don't love them anymore, but then after a fight...they do something that make you fall in love with them all over again. Of course an open mind is a must as well to be able to forgive and communicate with each other...”

I shook my head and laughed. “I'm not sure if I'm making sense, but I guess basically what I want to say is, one night stands are easier, but I think real, faithful relationships are worth some of its frustrations. Like the simple pleasures you get from seeing their stuff mixed in with yours...it's impossible for me to feel completely alone when I see that...”

Hiro put his arm around my shoulders. “He better be a good guy.”

I chuckled. “Sometimes has a short temper, but his intentions are good.” My phone buzzed. “Speaking of which...” I flipped the phone open.

From: Jun
Where are you?

I smiled at the short, but caring message. “I should probably go. He's getting worried since I've been gone for awhile.”

“Don't I get to meet him?” Hiro reached down to pet Toshi.

“Eh? I didn't think you would be interested in that.”

Hiro scratched his head. “Actually to tell you the truth...Shin was telling us about your boyfriend...It's Matsujun right?”

I facepalmed. “You are not going to meet him just because he's a celebrity!” And here I was thinking that maybe Hiro had matured...

My phone buzzed again.

From: Jun
Rina, I don't want to be
persistent like this but...
could you please respond?
Even if you're still mad...

I sighed and stood up. “I really need to go.”

“Wait!” Hiro stood up as well. “Come to dinner Sunday. All the family is going to be there. Dad is really curious about your boyfriend as well.”

“Can't you all just leave me alone!?” I tugged at Toshi's leash and left.

“Dinner is at 5 o'clock! Please come!” Hiro yelled.

Tch. Like I would do that!

“I'm home,” I weakly stated as I walked in the door.

“About time.” Jun hardly glanced over at me.

I walked over to him and hit him on the back of the head. “Don't try to act all cool now!” I plopped down next to him on the couch.

“Why is it that everything I do is wrong!?” He rubbed his head.

“It's fine, I know what you really want to say but are holding back.” I folded my arms.

“Oh? And what is that?” He leaned forward.

I cleared my throat and did my best Jun impression. “You shouldn't leave so late at night. Don't you know you're a girl? Blah, blah, blah.”

He furrowed his brow, obviously thinking my impression wasn't that funny.

I looked down, suddenly feeling very ashamed of myself. “...Sorry...”

“Hey!” I looked back at him. “Aren't you supposed to apologize too?”

“Why should I?” He proudly sat there.

Was he serious? I apologized so he should at least apologize for raising his voice at me!

“Ugh! You make me so mad! I'm going to bed!” I got up and headed towards the bedroom. Jun slowly trailed behind. I whipped around and glared at him.

“What? I'm tired. I want to go to bed too.”

I pointed towards the living room. “Couch!”

“What!?” Jun's jaw dropped. “Why the couch?”

“If you don't like it, go home.” I grabbed some sweats to change into.

Jun got into the bed with his jeans still on.

“Hey!” I got on the bed and tugged on his sleeve. “I said the couch!”

Jun pulled the covers over him. He mumbled something underneath.

“What?” I asked irritated.

He mumbled again.

I lightly hit his side. “I can't hear you when you are under the blankets stupid!”

He angrily sat up. “I said, who were you with!?”

“Huh?” I sat back.

“The guy at the park. Who were you with?!”

“You followed me?”

“You suddenly left when it was so late at night! I was making sure you were alright since you didn't come back immediately.”

I rubbed my forehead. “Seriously, I'm trying to refrain from hitting you right now. That was my brother!”

Jun folded his arms. “Well how was I supposed to know that? You never tell me anything anymore.”

“Is that what this is still about? Because I didn't tell you I was being bullied? Fine! Jun, I am being bullied by a bunch of petty office ladies because I'm dating you! Are you happy now!?”

Jun stayed quiet.

I got off the bed, grabbing my sweats again. My voice softened, “I didn't want to tell you because you react like this...It's really nothing.”

“Sorry,” he whispered.

I turned back around. “Sorry? Now you apologize?” He cupped his face with his hands. “Jun? Jun?” I sat back down on the bed.

“I shouldn't have asked you out...I should have known this would happen.”

I quickly pulled down his hands and slapped him across the face. “Stop! Do you know the meaning of 'It's nothing'?”

I pressed my lips hard against his. I felt him loosen up as he put his arms around my waist. I pushed him down and crawled on top of him. I forced my tongue into his mouth, which he gladly accepted. His hand lowered from my waist to my thigh. It then found it's way up my skirt.

We continued like this for a few minutes until I felt a lump against my leg. I smiled to myself and ignored it like usual, but this time Jun pushed me off fiercely. He leaned over himself in pain.

“Jun?” I put my hand on his shoulder. When I looked down I covered my mouth so I wouldn't laugh. “Um Jun, how about you change into...pfft...less tight pants...”

“Hey, don't laugh! I'm actually in pain here!” He scolded as he got up to change.

I waited quietly as he change.

“Hey Jun...”

“What is it?” Jun was in the middle of taking out his contacts and switching to glasses.

“My brother...he invited us to dinner with my family...”

“Eh, really!?” Jun was unexpectedly excited. “When?”

“Uh, Sunday at five.”

“We should go,” he smiled.

I was taken a bit off guard by Jun's willingness. “W-why?”

Jun lied down on his side of the bed. “I want to meet Rina's family.” He grabbed my waist to pull me in. “And...you want to see them too, don't you?”

“Why would I want to see them? They are a bunch of crazy people I'm trying to get away from!” I responded defensively.

I could hear his smile in my ear. “You were the one who brought the dinner thing up to me. It's okay to miss your family. You don't need to act so strong all the time.” He lightly kissed my neck.

I turned over to face him. “Jun...before you said you shouldn't have asked me out...I...” I looked down and blushed. “I'm glad you did.”

He smiled again, giving me a peck on the lips.

It was moments like this after a fight that made me happy to be in a relationship...I wish I had only known what Jun was thinking at the time.

A/N: FINALLY moved into my new apartment. Phew. Crazy week and a half. Now that things have semi-calmed down (school starts Tuesday >.<) I am finally able to update! Things are starting to wind down in this fic and getting close to the end. Don't worry, I still have a couple more chapters coming your way (I kind of want to get past ch. 19 since that is when I ALWAYS stop my fics, lol. But I don't know if that will be possible. We'll see ;)).

Anyway, as usual thanks for the support. You guys seriously flatter me, lol. And yes, next will be Aiba-chan (thus completing all 5 members fics). But I AM going to continue even once I finish Aiba's. I really want to write another Ohno fic since the first one was...meh...

Enjoy :)

Chapter 16

“I can't believe I agreed to this...” I dragged my feet towards my old house.

Jun grabbed my hand. “It'll be alright.”

“But Jun, my family has some serious issues! I guess Hiro is alright, but the rest of them...”

“Then why did you want to go?” Jun asked.

“I never said I wanted to go!” I protested.

Jun simply smiled in response.

I guess I did want to go, but it was more because Hiro had asked me. Also seeing how much he had matured, it made me wonder if maybe my family was a little bit better now.

The part that I was most worried about though was my father...we have never gotten along and I'm not sure if we ever will. That whole princess-father act never occurred in my family. My father could care less what happened to me.

Of course, I don't think that piece of information would calm Jun down anyway. As we reached the door, his hand became increasingly moist. Jun would never tell me so, but he was obviously freaking out about meeting my parents.

“Ah! Come in.” Hiro gave me a tight hug and then gave Jun a firm handshake. “It's nice to meet you.”

Jun slightly bowed. “It's nice to meet you as well.”

“Rina, is that you?” My mother called from the kitchen. She came out as she dusted her hands against her apron. “Oh honey, I'm so glad to—” She cut her sentence short once she caught a glimpse of Jun. “Oh my...” She began to fall backwards, but Hiro quickly caught her.

Jun stood there dumbstruck. I rubbed my forehead. “You didn't tell her Jun was coming?”

“I told her your boyfriend was coming. I didn't say who he was though.” Hiro helped Mom up, who was still speechless.

“Are you stupid!?” I scolded. “You know how obsessed she is with Johnny's groups!”

Mom playfully hit Hiro on the shoulder. “You should have told me Matsujun was coming! I would have made something better!”

Jun smiled. “It smells great so I'm sure it's delicious.”

She covered her mouth. “Just like on TV! He's so polite!”

Jun gave an embarrassed bow as I held back my laughter.

“Well don't just stay out here! Come in, come in!” My mom gestured us into the dining area. “Unfortunately Ryosuke can't come. He is stuck in a surgery right now so he had to cancel, but Shin came as well.”

“Rina-chan! Matsujun-kun! Welcome!” Shin gave both of us hugs. Jun tightened up as soon as Shin touched him. Shin then headed to the kitchen to bring the dishes out.

Jun and I took our seats. I leaned over towards him and whispered, “Sorry, Shin can be a little rude...”

Jun didn't respond as he took a sip of the water placed in front of him.

Once the dishes were all set (it looked delicious by the way), everyone took their seats.

“Honey! Dinner is all set!” My mom called for my father. He slowly came out of his room and took his spot at the head of the table. After he took a bite of the food, everyone else began to eat as well. “Look honey, Rina brought her boyfriend. And if you haven't noticed, it's Matsujun from Arashi!” My mom said proudly.

My father stopped eating for a moment as he inspected Jun. Jun tensed up as my father eyed him. He gave a deep bow. “It's nice to finally meet you.”

My father put his chopsticks down and gave Jun a little bow in response. “I hope my daughter isn't causing you any trouble.”

“Not at all. It's probably the opposite since I'm busy all the time,” Jun responded humbly.

I chuckled. “Yeah, this guy always gives me a load of trouble.” I nudged him teasingly.

Unfortunately I forgot it was my father who I was talking to...

He flashed me a glare. “Rina, do not be rude to your boyfriend like that. I thought I had taught you better than that.”

I slumped back into my chair. I felt like such a kid around him.

Jun awkwardly went back to eating. Shin decided to break the silence by talking a lot until dinner was finished. He kept asking Jun rude questions as well like what it felt like to have a bunch of girls obsessed with him, how many celebrity girlfriends he has had, etc.

Once dinner was finished, my mom cleaned up as the boys chatted. I stayed silent in fear of my father getting angry with me again.

“Oi Rina. Get us some sake. I would like to have a drink with your boyfriend,” my father commanded.

I furrowed my eyebrows. “Dad, I'm a guest too. Why should I get the sake?”

My father's eyes flared. “Don't talk back to me!”

I grumbled as I walked into the kitchen to get the sake. When I came back, the boys were lazily sitting on the couch, Jun awkwardly in between my father and Shin. Hiro was obviously amused by Shin constantly bugging Jun so he made no attempt to stop the awkward situation.

I casually put the sake on the table. “Here.” I took a seat on the ground.

My father gave me a displeased look. “Rina, you are supposed to serve the sake.”

“Why?” I complained. “You can perfectly serve yourself. You guys are the hosts.”

My father slammed his hand against the coffee table. “I said serve the sake! Don't you want to be a good wife in the future? The woman must pour the man's sake.”

I snorted. “Now that's a load of crap.” His glare became more intense. “Fine! I pour your stupid sake!”

After serving the sake, my father sat back and began business talk. He asked Jun generic questions like how work was. Meanwhile I sat there quietly, once in awhile sharing eye contact with Jun who tried to hide his nervousness.

“More sake Rina,” my father pointed to the bottle. This time I obediently refilled his glass and while I was at it, I decided to refill everyone else's. While I was busy pouring, my father began talking with Shin. “Did you get the pregnancy problem solved?”

Shin happily nodded as he held out his glass to me to refill. “Yeah, she is still making a little bit of a fuss, but I told her I'm not responsible for the child since she paid for me.”

My father gave a nod. “Good, good.”

I clicked my tongue. “You're the worst.”

“It's unfortunately business Rina-chan,” Hiro tried to explain.

“To make a woman's life miserable? That doesn't seem right,” I shook my head.

Shin took a sip of his sake. “Not my problem she ended up pregnant. She should have been on birth control.”

“Tsk. You're always like this! Not taking responsibility for anything!”

“Rina, that's enough,” my father told me sternly.

I continued anyway. “Arg! I can't stand how none of you will take responsibility for anything. You talk about women like they are a piece of meat! Even now, you are forcing me to pour you sake when I'm the guest!”

My father glared. “I said that's enough Rina. You are embarrassing our family in front of our guest.” He gestured towards Jun.

“I'm embarrassed to even be part of this family!” I stood up in anger.

Shin laughed. “Rina, just shut up and pour me some more sake.” He held out his cup.

“That's it!!” I picked up the bottle of sake and hit it against the table, making the bottle shatter into a bunch of pieces. “I can't believe I even came back here! You are all still a bunch of scumbags!”

My father angrily stood up and slapped me hard across the face. “And you are still a manner less b*tch!Have you learned nothing!?”

My mother came in right at that moment and gasped. “Honey!”

Jun instinctively stood up, grabbing my father's arm. I could see his grip tighten.

“I don't care who you are, you don't call my girlfriend a b*tch.” Jun then punched my father right in the face.

My mother gasped again, racing to my father's side. Shin sat there in awe while Hiro quickly went to hold down my father who was about to hit Jun right back.

I tugged on Jun's arm to hold him back as well. “Jun, stop! Stop!”

“You should go,” Hiro suggested.

I nodded and pulled on Jun again. “Jun, come on.” After giving my father a death glare, he took my hand and took me out to his car.

The car ride to my apartment was quiet. Jun's grip on the steering wheel was so tight, I was afraid anything I said would anger him further.

When we reached my apartment complex, Jun slammed his door shut, went to my side, practically threw me out of the passenger side and then stomped up to my apartment.

In the apartment, he threw his shoes instead of nicely placing them in front of the door like usual. He then became similar to a tornado...He punched the couch, threw down DVDs and CDs, and anything else destructive he could think of.

Toshi whined, escaping into my room.

Finally, I went to Jun's side. “Stop it! You are making a huge mess!”

“He actually calls himself your father!?” Jun kept on with his destructive behavior.

“Jun!” I tried to stop him again.

“I never imagined a father to actually slap his daughter and call her such a horrible thing!”

“Jun, stop!” I grabbed his arm again.

“I wanted to hit him more than that one time! He was pissing me off the whole night the way he treated you!”

“Jun!” I tightly embraced him. “It's fine.”

He gripped my shoulders, putting me at arms length. “And that phrase: It's fine. What is that supposed to mean? You are fine with being bullied and now you're fine with your own father calling you a b*tch? But yet you break down in tears when Shiori called you desperate!? What is wrong with you!?”

I stared down at my feet, not knowing how to respond.

“Say something!” Jun shook me fiercely, tightening his grip around my shoulders.

“Stop, you're hurting me Jun.” I bit my lip.

Jun ignored me, gripping me even tighter. “Say something!!!” He demanded.

I tried to push away. “Jun stop!” I finally was able to released myself from his hold. Part of my sleeve slipped, revealing the light bruises he left from holding me so tightly.

Jun stared at the bruises in horror. He looked at his hands and shook his head. “I hurt her...” He messed his hair up in frustration. “D*mmit I'm no better than him!”

I lightly touch his arm. “Jun, you are upset right now. How about you rest?”

Jun kept shaking his head. “I'm causing you pain.”

I was beginning to get scared. I had never seen Jun lose his cool this much before. “Jun, I'm fine.”

He flashed an unfamiliar look at me. It was a mix of horror, realization, and anger all in one look.

“Rina...let's break up,” he suddenly said.

“What?” I was in total shock.

“I can't do this. Let's break up.” He walked into the bedroom to take down his clothes.

This had to be a nightmare. It had to be.

“You're upset right now. Please take a rest and think about what you're saying!” I desperately tried to stop Jun from packing up his stuff.

“You deserve better Rina. You are being hurt because of me.” Jun headed into the living room to pick out some of the DVDs that he knew was his.

“Don't do this Jun! I'm fine!”

Jun angrily turned towards me. “Stop saying you're fine!!” He picked up all his stuff and opened the door.

“Jun, please.” I followed him to the door.

Jun paused for a moment to stare at me. I saw his gaze look down at my lips. He squeezed his eyes together. “Goodbye Rina.” He shut the door behind him.

This had to be a nightmare...

It had to be.

Chapter 17

“Goodbye Rina.”

I feel to my knees.

He's gone. He left.

“D*mmit Jun! Don't decided these kind of things on your own!”

What the h*ll was he thinking!?

He's coming back....right? He is just in a bad mood. He'll come back...

He'll come back.

Jun's POV of that night

I grabbed Rina's hand reassuringly. After I did, I regretted it. My palms were becoming increasingly sweaty.

Was I really this nervous to meet her family? I hadn't realized it until we reached her family's door.

Her brother was polite enough though. Maybe Rina was over dramatizing how horrible her family was.
Even her mom who fainted in front of me (you think I would be used to it, but it actually embarrassed me quite a lot) seemed nice.

Then I met her other brother...His name was Shin?

I don't think I have ever met such an annoying person in my life. I felt bad though because Rina looked embarrassed by her brother so I tried to politely answer his questions.

I still hadn't met Rina's father. What kind of man could he be? I couldn't even imagine him. What would an owner of a host club look like? Really good-looking? Looks younger than he really is?

“Honey! Dinner is all set!” Rina's mother called.

This was it. Here he comes. I pinched the side of my jeans in anticipation.

The man that appeared was a thin and a decently good-looking guy for his age. He was probably in his 50s, but he didn't look any older than 40.

Once Rina's father appeared, I could feel Rina tense up beside me. It was no wonder that she did though. He gave off the aura that he was in charge and no one would dare disobey him.

He took the first bite, once again showing his authority. The family at the table only ate once he had swallowed his first bite.

“Look honey, Rina brought her boyfriend. And if you haven't noticed, it's Matsujun from Arashi!” Rina's mom introduced me.

I could feel the man's eyes carefully inspecting me. I had never had an experience like this before, someone inspecting me with such hard eyes. Well, I guess I have never visited my girlfriend's family before either...I had never become this serious with anyone before. This whole situation was full of firsts.

I gave her father a respectable bow. “It's nice to finally meet you.”

He politely bowed back. “I hope my daughter isn't causing you any trouble.”

I quickly answered, “Not at all. It's probably the opposite since I'm busy all the time.” I actually feel bad how much I work. I know Rina suffers from it, but she will never tell me so. Not to mention the bullying that has been going on...

“Yeah, this guy always gives me a load of trouble.” I was glad to hear Rina's playful voice again.

But surprisingly her father was not humored at all. He scolded her instead. “Rina, do not be rude to your boyfriend like that. I thought I had taught you better than that.”

Silence filled the room as Rina lowered her head.

“So Jun, have you dated a lot of hot babes before?” Shin quickly tried to fill the silence. “Actually do you have an advice on how to get rid of a girl that keeps hanging on you? This one girl seriously won't leave me alone. I guess I can't blame her since I am me, but still.”

I rolled my eyes. I was thankful for the break in the tense air, but it would be kind of awkward to talk about ex-girlfriends with Rina sitting next to me.

Somehow I was able to dodge most of the personal questions Shin asked, but that was really the least of my worries. Rina hadn't spoken anymore since her father scolded her. Maybe coming here was a mistake.

I wanted her to at least fix some of her family relations. I didn't approve of their way of living or how they brought up their children to be so flirtatious (I figure the reason why Rina didn't become as bad as the others is due to what seemed like a bad relationship with her father), but I think Rina needs to get over some of that grudge she has been holding against them.

After dinner was finished Rina's father finally spoke again. “Oi Rina. Get us some sake. I would like to have a drink with your boyfriend.”

Although a rude request, it was something I thought Rina would let slide.

“Dad, I'm a guest too. Why should I get the sake?” Irritation revealed in her voice.

“Don't talk back to me!” Her father snapped. Rina obediently went to get the sake as Shin forced me into the living room. Why was the father being so rude to Rina? That I couldn't figure out.

Rina placed the sake on the little table and went to take a seat. Her father was not pleased with this action, demanding her to serve us as well.

Maybe it's that he was sexist? I couldn't really tell since I didn't know how he treated his wife, but the way he ordered Rina around was beginning to piss me off.

He finally exploded. “I said serve the sake! Don't you want to be a good wife in the future? The woman must pour the man's sake.”

Rina bitterly served the sake. I tried to give her an apologetic look as she pour sake into my cup.

“So what exactly do you do daily for your job Matsumoto-san?” Her father casually asked me.

I nervously talked about my schedule, glancing over at Rina every once in awhile.

“More sake Rina,” her father demanded once more. Rina looked done with arguing so she refilled the glasses again.

Her father took a nice sip of sake and put the cup back down. He began discussing with Shin what I assumed to be about host work. But once Shin casually talked about not being responsible for the child, I could see a flame in Rina's eyes.

Shoot, why did they have to talk about host work? They must know that Rina doesn't like it. Are they purposefully trying to make her mad or something?

“You're the worst.” She coldly answered.

“It's unfortunately business Rina-chan.” Once again I was impressed by her oldest brother. He seemed level-headed despite his occupation.

Rina still pursued her point of how wrong it was. I agreed with her, but I knew it wasn't my place to say something.

“I said that's enough Rina. You are embarrassing our family in front of our guest.” Her father's voice grew louder. I was scared to even be next to him.

“I'm embarrassed to even be part of this family!” She shouted back.

“Rina, just shut up and pour me some more sake.” At this point I was fed up with this Shin guy. Who did he think he was to talk to Rina like that!?

Rina angrily smashed the sake on the table. My eyes grew wide. She was seriously pissed! I had never seen her get this mad before and frankly, I was hoping I never would!

“And you are still a manner less b*tch! Have you learned nothing!?” Her father slapped her across the face.

In that moment, he no longer was her father to me. He hit her! That is something I will not tolerate!

“I don't care who you are, you don't call my girlfriend a b*tch.”

I felt as if my body was moving by itself as I punched him in the face. I knew this was something I shouldn't do. I should have just taken Rina home, but my natural instincts to protect her kicked in.

I was ready to punch him to a pulp, but Rina kept holding me back. “Jun, stop! Stop!”

“You should go,” Hiro gestured to the door.

I didn't want to leave. I wanted that disgraceful man who calls himself a father dead, but Rina kept pushing me towards the door.

“Let's break up.”

I sat in my car for what seemed like hours, still parked in Rina's apartment complex.

“D*mmit!” I hit the steering wheel.

I was no better than the man. Causing her pain like this. I wish she would at least tell me she was suffering so I could do something about it.

I would be find with telling off those stupid office ladies.

I glanced over at her mail that I had put on the passenger seat. All hate-mail.

For the past month or so I have been getting her mail for that specific reason. How did my “fans” find her?

I would be willing to give those fans up for her...I have never loved someone this much and now...she's gone.

Because of me she's gone.

But if this will keep her from being bullied, from being hurt by me, from being lonely as she waited for me to return home, I'm fine with that.

I stared at my hands. I even physically hurt her.

I messed with my hair in frustration. “D*mmit what's wrong with me!?” My thoughts weren't even completely straight.

I love her. But someone who has already suffered so much from being bullied because of her brothers, being hit by her father...someone like that shouldn't go out with a celebrity like me. It would only bring her a lifetime of pain that she was originally trying to get away from...

“Rina, I'm sorry, but this is the best.” I started the engine as carefully pulled out of the parking garage.

Chapter 18

I patted myself in the face while looking in the mirror. “My eyes are really swollen...” I grumbled to myself.

I didn't feel like going to work, but I knew it would be better than mopping around home all day. Maybe Jun would come talk to me too. Say that he was just in a bad mood or tipsy or something like that.

Or at least explain his sudden decision to break up...

“What's wrong with you? You look awful!” Shiori commented.

I sighed. “Yeah I know. I couldn't really sleep last night...” That was an understatement.

“Hey Yamamoto-san, get us some coffee?” A group of three ladies walked over.

Shiori rolled her eyes, expecting me do once again do as they please. But little did they know I was in a horrible mood and my lack of sleep did not help. Also why should I obey them when I wasn't even getting anything out of it anymore since Jun broke up with me?!

“Get your own coffee,” I calmly told them, pretending to be busy with papers.

“Excuse me?” One leaned forward.

“I said get your own coffee,” I repeated.

“Hmph. Think you are high and mighty now because you have Matsujun as your boyfriend? You're such a b*tch.”

I flashed them a glare. I was sensitive about both Jun and being called a b*tch at the moment.

“Look, I'm having a bad day. I don't feel like playing with a bunch of hos right now.” I turned around.

The girl grabbed me by the shoulder and force me to turn back around. “Excuse me?! We aren't the ones playing Matsujun, you skank. First Tackey and now him? You really are a b*tch.”

I gripped her wrist tightly, forcing it off of my shoulder. “Look I'm done with your crap! You are just a bunch of jealous sluts because Jun won't give you the time of day.” I let go of her wrist. “But if it makes you feel better and makes you go away. Jun and I broke up! Okay?! So leave me alone!”

The girl smirked. “Knew it wouldn't last long.”

I rolled my eyes. I really was done dealing with this.

“Come on girls,” they all left satisfied.

“Hmph. I guess I at least don't need to worry about them anymore,” I turned back towards Shiori. Shiori's eyes were looking elsewhere. I followed her path of sight and saw Jun who appeared to have seen the whole thing.

Our eyes met for a few seconds.

“Jun,” I whispered.

He looked back down at his feet and quickly passed by.

Shiori solemnly looked over at me. “Didn't sleep well last night, huh?”

I closed my eyes, trying to hold back my tears. I felt her rub my back.

Why am I so pathetic? I never relied on people like this before Jun came around. I was perfectly capable of holding back my emotions. But now...

A couple minutes later Aiba joyful came to the front desk to chat as usual.

“Have you met up with Ayumi recently?” Shiori teased.

Aiba beamed. “I get to see her tonight! I think...I think I'm going to finally ask her out. But don't tell her anything please!”

I stared down at the ground. Why could I go back to that time? The beginning of the relationship? It was so much more simple then and love was still enough to cover for the problems that occurred. Everything could be solved with a kiss or a hug.

“Rina? You alright?” Aiba tilted his head.

I forced a smile. “Yeah, I'm fine. I'm really tired. Good luck tonight!”

“Thanks!” Aiba was so easy to fool. Unlike Jun...

Two weeks later

Ayumi and I sat together in my living room casually chatting as the TV played Music Station.

“So are you going to visit Aiba after the program is over?” I asked.

Ayumi giddily smiled. “Yeah, but he doesn't know yet. I want it to be a surprise. Once Music Station is over, I'll drive over to his house. I told Sho so Arashi won't keep him too long afterwords.”

I nodded. Excited for my friend to have finally found a decent guy. Her and Aiba seemed made for each other.

Familiar voices came from the speakers.

“Ah! They're on!” Ayumi reached for the remote to turn it up.

I covered my mouth once Arashi appeared. H-his hair!

Ayumi bobbed her head to the cheerful music.

Why does he do this to me? Is he purposefully trying to make me suffer more than I already am?

Why did he do his hair like that?!

“Rina, you okay?” Ayumi looked at me with concern. She looked back at the TV. “I'm sorry, we should turn this off. You are probably still sensitive about him.”

She reached for the remote.

“No, don't.” I stopped her, still staring at the TV. Jun jumped around like the other members with his new fohawk haircut.

“You know Rina, it will be a lot easier to get over him if he would stop coming over,” Ayumi commented as she went back to watching Aiba.

I finally detached myself from the screen. “What do you mean?”

“It's none of my business or anything, but you should really stop letting Matsujun come over if you really are trying to get over your break up.”

I shook my head. “What are you talking about? I only see him at work and barely that. He avoids me like the plague.”

“But...I see him...everyday checking your mail. Sometimes I've seen him come to your door too. I guess now that I think about it, he was just standing awkwardly in front of your door and looked like he was going to leave, but I didn't really stay to see.”

“He's checking my mail? But I still have stuff left there when I pick it up.”

What the heck was Jun thinking? I know he still has my keys, but I didn't think he would be using them. And what's up with him coming to my door?

Ayumi shrugged. “It's a mystery to me.”

I looked back at the Jun on the screen.

“What do you want from me,” I whispered quiet enough that Ayumi couldn't hear.

Jun once again awkwardly passed by the front desk.

“Hey Matsujun! I like your hair! It looks good on you,” Shiori commented as he passed by.

Jun stopped to give Shiori and acknowledging nod.

“Doesn't it look good Rina?” Shiori poked me beneath the desk so he couldn't see.

Jun and mine eyes met.

Shiori, please don't involve me in your embarrassing schemes like this!

I shyly nodded. “It suits you,” I quietly said and instantly stared at the floor.

“Shiori-chan! Rina-chan! I had the most amazing day yesterday!” Aiba skipped towards us. We both smiled, knowing exactly what he meant.

Jun tried to take this moment as a chance to escape, but Aiba called out to him. “Oi! Jun, want to hear about it too?”

“You'll probably repeat it two or three more times in the practice room so I'll just wait until then,” Jun said, obviously very unexcited to hear the story.

If we were stilling going out I might have said something like “Jun, be nice!” but since that wasn't the case...

Jun and I shared eye contact once more before he left.

Aiba simply began his story, paying no mind to Jun.

Once Aiba left, there were a few minutes of silence between Shiori and I. (Not a common occurrence since Shiori likes to talk).

“He still likes you,” Shiori said casually.

“Jun. He still likes you.”

I shook my head. “No he doesn't. He wouldn't have broken up with me then. And why would he care for someone like me? He can easily get any girl he wants.”

“Rina.” Shiori stared at me seriously. “He likes you. I don't know why he broke up with you. I'm guessing it was because of work or something stupid like that, but he definitely didn't break up with you because he doesn't like you anymore. I mean did you see the way he looked at you?”

“It doesn't matter anymore...we're done.”

I don't want to talk about this anymore. Hoping that he still likes me only makes it hurt more.

“Maybe he broke up with you because he was trying to protect you. Like from the bullying or something! Oh that's so romantic!” Shiori began on her own little fantasy.

“A break up is a break up. If that was the case he should have at least explained it to me.”

“You are so stubborn, how could he?” Shiori folded her arms in a know-it-all fashion.

“Just stating the facts. Why don't you try talking to him? He might feel like he can't approach you because he is the one that broke up with you.”

“And I feel like I can't approach him because he broke up with me! So how are our situations different?” I was now getting annoyed with this whole conversation. I really don't like talking about Jun anymore.

“Don't get mad at me! I'm just saying! You don't have to if you don't want to. I'm just thinking you might want to give it a try.” Shiori gave me a reassuring smile. “It might not mean anything to you, but I thought you guys complimented each other very well.”

It did mean something to me, but I didn't want to think about it...

“Would this look good?” Ayumi held up one of my dresses. I let Shiori and Ayumi raid my closet today since we had a Christmas party coming up and it's not like I wear these dresses often.

“I like it!” Shiori commented.

“Rina, we need to find you something super cute as well!” Ayumi cheerfully sat next to me.

“Yeah, make Matsujun regret ever leaving you!” Shiori laughed. I rolled my eyes.

Ayumi leaned over me so she could get closer to Shiori. “I don't think that will be a problem from what I hear from Masaki.”

“What?” Shiori scooted closer. “Do tell!”

“Well, coming from Masaki it's always a long story, but in summary Matsujun has been a mess. Mr. Perfect is messing up more than Masaki even! Apparently Arashi was really worried right before that last Music Station performance because he seems to always mess up and that's not really good for his character.” Ayumi scooted even closer. “And from what I hear his haircut—”

“He got it because I said it would look good,” I whispered.

“Exactly!” Ayumi pointed at me.

I rubbed my forehead. Really? What is he thinking? And how could he trouble Arashi like this!?

“Are you okay?” Shiori put her hand on my back.

I shook my head. It's been almost three weeks and he is still giving Arashi trouble. I grabbed my cellphone from the night stand and dialed his number.

“Who are you calling?” Ayumi whispered.

Jun answered before I could say (not that she didn't know). “R-Rina?”

“Are you stupid?!” I instantly yelled. Shiori and Ayumi both backed away.

“Eh?” He innocently answered.

“How can you trouble Arashi like this!? I heard you keep messing up! If this is because of our break up you need to stop troubling them with your personal issues! It's not professional! And the person who is going to get in trouble is me because people will think it's [/i]my[/i] fault!”

“Rina, I—”

“Are you purposefully trying to make me mad!? First the haircut and now this? You knew I liked your hair like that! Why are you acting like it was me that broke up with you when it was the other way around!? Argh!! Sometimes you make me so mad I can't even take it! You are so self centered and you decide everything on your own without discussing anything with me! If you still like me just say it! You should already know you are the only guy I love! I have never liked another guy before like I like you!”

I finally took a breath, waiting for Jun's response. I paid no attention to Shiori and Ayumi's shocked faces. I guess I didn't even fully comprehend myself what I had just spouted out.

“What is it?” I snapped.

“I'm coming over.”

“No don't come over! I don't want you here!”

“I'll be there in 10 minutes.”

“But I have frie—”

He hung up.

I shut my phone, “D*mmit! I didn't invite him over!”

“It's fine, we need to get going anyway.” Ayumi and Shiori smiled at each other.

“I'll take this dress,” Ayumi picked up the dress she was trying on before.

I followed them to the door.

“Oh and Rina, you might need this. He is probably coming unprepared.” Shiori placed something plastic in my hand.

I looked at what she placed in my hand. “What!? I don't need this!”

Shiori smirked. “You never know. Bye bye!”

I stared at the “gift” Shiori left me. I clicked my tongue and shoved it in my pocket.

I doubt I will need that.

I impatiently/worriedly sat on the couch. What was I going to say when he got here? What would I do? I could feel my stomach churning and the butterflies flying.

I quickly stood up.

I took a breath. “No, walk slowly to the door. You don't want to seem eager.”

My hand was shaking as I turned the door knob.

“Rina,” Jun said quietly.

“Come in.” I avoided all eye contact. He sat down, pulling off his boots. “I don't understand why you have to come over. I was just telling you to stop acting so childish and—”

Jun pulled me into a tight embrace. “After all, I can't go back to life without you. I'm sorry...”

I let him keep holding me, taking in his refreshing scent. “Jun...hate mail doesn't bother me. Neither does the bullying because I knew they were just jealous. As long as I had you...I was fine.”

“You saw the mail?”

“Ayumi said you were still checking my mail so I had to see what you were doing...”

“I'm sorry...dating me is so difficult. But Rina,” he pushed me back a bit. “I love you.”

I gave him a peck on his lips. “I love you too.”

He pulled me in tightly, sucking his lips fiercely against mine. We slowly moved back to the couch. I purposefully fell backwards onto it, taking him with me.

His lips kissed my cheek and then lowered to my neck. His hand slipped up my shirt. I loved to feel him like this again. It felt as if it had been a century.

“You know, my bed is bigger,” I said breathlessly.

“Hm?” Jun continued to kiss my neck and then returned back to my lips.

I dug into my pocket and hit Shiori's gift against his chest. “I said, my bed is bigger.”

He stopped to inspect what I had placed against his chest. He looked back at me with big eyes. “Is it really okay?”

I kissed his neck while rubbing his inner thigh. “It's definitely alright.”

A/N: HA! It's the 19th chapter and it's NOT the finale! I'm so proud of myself ~ I really wanted to get past the 19th chapter since the past 2 fics that's when I stopped. Yay!

So, funny thing I noticed...there actually aren't that many Aiba fics on here are there? (at least completed fics). I noticed this after I read fruitcase's Happiness (which I highly suggest if you want a good laugh!)

Well anyway, Aiba fic coming next! Hopefully I won't die from school and work first! haha. (which is why this chapter is shorter than all the others...I wanted to give you guys the next installment, but I don't have time to make a long chapter like usual).

Enjoy the next chapter!

Chapter 19

“Shoot, shoot, shoot!” Jun jumped into his pants.

I rubbed my eyes tiredly. “What's wrong?” I yawned.

“I'm an hour late to work!” He buttoned up his shirt.

“Ah, really?” I sat up, but covered my body with the blanket.

“What about you? You should take it easy today since it was your first time.”

I lifted an eyebrow. “Are you trying to compliment yourself? But taking it easy is no problem. I have today off.”

He chuckled, giving me a kiss on the lips. I put my arms around him, pulling him in more.

“No more, I need to go to work!” He tried to resist.

“Hmm? You're already late, what's a few minutes more?” I slid my hand down his chest and put them playfully in his pants.

“Riinnnaa,” he complained. “I have to buy more necessities before we do it again so stop teasing me!”

I pouted. “Fine, go to work.”

He laughed giving me another kiss. “I love you.”

“Love you too,” I smiled.

Finally, everything was as it should be.

“I'm coming!” I yelled. Geez, who was knocking so loudly? It shouldn't be Jun since he still had my key and I think Ayumi was going straight from work to Aiba's.

I opened the door. Hiro was standing there looking completely distressed. Before I could even ask what was wrong he spoke. “Dad had a heart attack!”

I lifted an eyebrow. “Is that all? By your face I thought someone had died!”

“Rina!” Hiro snapped. “I know you don't like Dad at all, but he had a heart attack. Please come ot the hospital with me!”

I folded my arms. “Why should this b*tch see him?”

Hiro pulled on my arm. “Rina, just come see him. He wanted to talk to us all now that his health is getting worse. Come on, treat it as his last dying wish.”

“What's going on?” Jun came up behind Hiro. He eyed Hiro's tight grip on me with disapproval.

I forced my arm away. “My father had a heart attack. Onii-san is trying to get me to visit him.”

Jun frowned, not sure how to respond.

“It's really important. He might die soon for all we know. You don't want Rina regretting not seeing her dying father do you?” Hiro told Jun.

Jun looked over at me and then back at Hiro. “Are you asking me to tell her to see her abusive father? Sorry, but I'm not going to tell her to go nor force her to stay. I'm not like him.”

I looked at Jun lovingly. I think this is the coolest I have ever seen him act.

Hiro turned back towards me. “Rina, please. I will make sure he doesn't hurt you, not that he really has the physical strength to do so. This is the last time you have to see him. Just this once and then you can cut us all off if you want.”

“Fine,” I responded. “Just this once, but only because he is hospitalized.”

Hiro gave a sigh of relief. “Thank you.” He looked back over at Jun. “I think...you should probably stay here...My dad probably won't want to see you. No offense. He totally deserved your punch.”

Jun worriedly looked at me. I gave him a fake smile. “I'll be fine.”

He gave a timid nod.

I kissed him once before following Hiro to his car.

“Masaki!” Jun banged on Aiba's door.

It took a couple impatient minutes for Aiba to reach the door. “What's up?”

Jun invited himself in. “I can't stand it anymore! Every time she says 'I'm fine' and 'It'll be fine' or any sentence with the word fine in it, I go crazy!”

“Are you talking about Rina-chan?” Ayumi popped out of the kitchen.

Jun stared at her dumbfounded. “Oh...you're here Saito-san? Sorry, I shouldn't have intruded.”

“Oh no, it's fine,” she smiled. “I would like to know what's going on with Rina.”

“Her dad had a heart attack so her brother begged her to go. I can't really go because her dad and I...aren't really on the best of terms and it's driving me crazy!”

“How about you sit down?” Aiba offered.

“I can't! I can't calm down! She used the word fine. I can't stand it when she uses the word fine!” Jun paced the room.

“I'm sure it'll be fine Matsujun!” Aiba put his hand on Jun's shoulder.

“Ugh!” Jun shouted in frustration.

“Opps, wrong choice of words?” Aiba laughed.

Jun shot Aiba glare.

“Would you just calm down?!” Ayumi surprisingly yelled.

Both men stared at her with surprise. Ayumi wasn't the type to lose her temper.

“Sheesh! No wonder Rina gets so upset with you all the time! You are so overbearing!”

Aiba dropped his jaw. “Uh, Ayumi-chan—”

“Please stay quiet Masaki. Matsumoto needs to hear this from someone else than Rina.” She turned back towards Jun. “Look, I know Rina. She will be alright. She is a big girl. Yeah, she'll probably come back in a bad mood and such, but you can't help things like that from happening. It's not like you haven't done you own deal of damages to her.”

Jun sheepishly looked at the ground.

“And no I'm not talking about Rina being bothered by your obsessed fans. I'm talking about you. Did you seriously think breaking up with Rina was going to make her happy? You broke up with her after she just got in a fight with her dad for Pete's sake! How the hell is that going to make her happier?!”

“But—” Jun tried to interrupt.

“I don't want any of the tough guy crap like 'I wanted to protect her'. How is leaving her protecting her anyway!? Do you want to know what she was like those three weeks?! She was an utter mess! She would never tell me since that's what she is like, but whenever I came over I saw her, her DVD player was still on even though her TV screen was off. While she was in the bathroom one time I decided to see what she was watching. They were freaking Hanadan reruns! She had a whole stack of your movies and dramas! No wonder why she always had puffy eyes when I saw her! She was practically making herself suffer by watching you everyday! She cried everyday because she missed you! When she needed you most, you left! I can say honestly Matsumoto, YOU ARE A F***ING IDIOT!”

Jun stood there, completely dumbstruck.

“So,” Ayumi pointed to the door. “No matter how much you worry, really the best thing for you to do is wait for her at home and be there to comfort her if something bad happens.”

Jun compliantly nodded and headed towards the door.

“Oh and Matsujun?” Ayumi went back to her more caring voice. “You make think she acts strong, and she does, but she is stronger than you think.”

Jun finally smiled. “Thanks...Ayumi-san.”

“Rina is here.” I followed Hiro into my father's hospital room. Everyone in my family was there.

“Good,” my father sat up.

I tried to hide behind Hiro as best as I could.

“I'm glad you are all here.” My father did sound weaker. His voice was softer than usual. “There are some things I must discuss with you all.”

Everyone went closer to his bed, but I still kept my distance.

He discussed certain business topics with my brothers. I felt as if I had been totally forgotten.

Not that I minded. I figured I would just listen and run. Maybe I would never actually have to talk to him.

“Rina,” he finally called.

Dang it, there goes my plan.

“Yes?” I only got a little closer, but still stayed behind my brothers.

“I know our relationship is strained and you will probably feel as if you have no obligations to me but...I really need you.”

“Need me?” Here comes the catch.

“I need you to take care of the business while I'm hospitalized and weak. It shouldn't conflict with your work.”

“Eh!?” My eyes went wide. “T-take care of the host club?”

He weakly nodded.

“But I thought Mom—”

“Your mother is getting old like I and it's too difficult for one person to look after the shop.”

“Then what about Hiro or Ryosuke?” I pointed to them.

“They will still be working. They are the most requested so how can I pull them out to do manager work?”

“But me?”

“I trust your judgment.”

My judgment isn't the problem. Me taking care of my family's host club is the problem!

“Rina, listen. You went to Uni, I think you are the most capable out of us all to keep the finances and employees in check.”

I shook my head. “I can't. I just can't.”

“Please, only a month,” my father begged. I can't believe he is actually begging me to do this!

I bit my lip. “Fine.”

Wait, what? Did I really say that? It kind of just spit out.

I think it was the fact the for once in his life that my father was asking me to do something rather than telling me to do something. Maybe somewhere subconsciously I wanted to reward that...

He smiled. “Thank you Rina. You are all dismissed now,” he acted as if this was nothing more than a regular meeting instead of being a family gathering.

“I'll drive you back home,” Hiro offered.

I stay quiet the whole drive home.

“Are you going to be okay working for Dad?” Hiro asked. “If it really bothers you too much, I can find a way to do it instead.”

“No, I already agreed to it...It's only for a month anyway.”

Hiro pulled into my apartment complex's parking garage. “Is Matsumoto going to be alright with this?”

Crap! I didn't think about that! He's going to be pissed!

I looked up the stairs. “Probably not.”

Rage of Jun, here I come.

Re: [Complete] To Seduce a Celebrity (JunxOC) - Ch. 24/end

A/N: Just so everyone knows, I made an edit in Chapter 18 (?). Instead of getting ready for a New Years party, the girls were getting ready for a Christmas party.

That's what it was supposed to be originally but for some reason I wrote New Years...hmm, brain not working because school started? I think so. Haha.

Also, I apologize that this is yet again a shorter chapter (at least compared to the rest of this fic's chapters). They are probably going to stay around this size because I still want to update frequently, but it's hard to write a huge chapter with school and work. Either way, I hope you enjoy! Thanks as always.

Chapter 20

“I'm home.” I tiredly took off my shoes. I wasn't even arguing with Jun yet, but the anticipation was wearing me out.

“Welcome home,” he called from the other room.

Jun was casually lying on the couch with Toshi, reading a book. When he heard me come into the room, he took off his reading glasses and looked up at me. “How did it go?”

I sat on the edge of the couch in front of him. “It went okay. For once we didn't get in a huge argument.”

“Hm? That's good,” Jun commented.

I turned my body enough so I could see his face. I gave him a weird look.

Why was he acting so calm? He was acting a bit strange...

“What?” He asked innocently.

I decided not to address it. I wouldn't object if he decided to act calm like this. “Good book?” I gestured towards the novel he was holding.

He shrugged. “It's okay.”

I definitely wasn't used to this. Such casual talk. Sure we had normal conversations like this, but both of us usually talk a lot more. Is he trying to restrain himself right now?

“So, I don't think you'll be happy about this but...” I guess I should get it over with.

Jun sat up more and closed his book, staring at me with interest.

“My father is really sick right?” Jun nodded. I took a breath. “Well, he sort of asked me to watch over the family business while he is in the hospital and while he's recovering.”

“Asked?” Jun lifted an eyebrow in disbelief.

“Yeah...for once he asked so...I said yes...” I quickly looked down at my hands. I could only imagine Jun's expression right now. Furrowed eyebrows, flaming eyes, mouth open.

“Is that so? Are you alright with that?” Jun asked calmly.

Hm? What kind of response was that? Why was he so calm?

“I-I guess. It's only for a month or less so...” I kept my eyes glued to the ground.

“Alright. If you're sure.” Jun opened up his book again.

“Eh? That's it?” accidentally slipped from my mouth.

“What do mean 'that's it'?” Jun looked up from his book again.

“Like no getting mad or arguing over this?” I was still astonished.

He put his book down and pulled me in tight from the back. He placed his chin on my shoulder. “I told your brother earlier that I wouldn't force you to do or not do something. What kind of man would I be if I went back on my word now that we're alone?”

My heart made a huge pounding sound. I hated that Jun was so talented at saying the right words sometimes making him seem so cool.

“Rina, I don't want to make the same mistakes as before. I don't want to lose you again.” His grip around my waist tightened. “But...I won't lie and say I'm okay with you working for your father...I mean, it's a host club.”

I smiled. To have an actually discussion like this...I felt like a real couple now.

“I'm sure it'll be fine. I'm mostly doing finance stuff. I'll be working in the office there more than actually stepping foot in the club.”

“Hey Rina?”

I tilted my head upwards towards him. “Yeah?”

“Can I ban the word 'fine' in our conversations?” he asked, completely serious.

“Why? Do you have something against that word?” I chuckled a bit.

“You use it too much when you aren't fine so I would much rather you just stop saying that word instead of me having to try to figure out if you actually are fine or not.”

I pecked his lips. “Okay, fine. Er, I mean alright.”

We both laughed. He kissed me once again. Our noses stayed close together. “I missed this,” he whispered.

“Me too.”

Toshi decided he was left out so he climbed in between us.

“Although I have to say, I don't miss this!” Jun pointed to Toshi angrily.

“Hey! Don't be mean to To-chan!” I scolded.

“I can't believe I ever wanted a dog! Now that I basically have one, I want to give it to the pound! He is so clingy!”

“Oi! Don't even say something like that! Toshi is your senpai in my home!”

Jun's jaw dropped. “Him?”

I nodded. “Yes. You need to start calling him Toshi-senpai.”

He clicked his tongue. “I swear you love that dog more than me.”

“It's kind of hard not to. He doesn't talk back to me.”

Jun frowned.

“But,” I pushed Toshi gently aside. “I surprisingly still like you more. He can't do what you do either.” I kissed Jun's neck lightly.

He smiled, satisfied. “Then, shall we turn in for the night?”

“Here is Dad's office. Here are the financial books, the regular order forms, and pretty much anything else you will need. I'll take care of the hosts themselves,” Hiro instructed me.

This was going to be tiring...first I go to my regular job and then I go to my family's club. I guess it didn't matter, Jun was pretty busy as well.

“Okay, thanks.”

Hiro left me to flip through Dad's stuff. Looks like it was going to be a pretty boring job...Mostly repetition with ordering things. I guess a host club really isn't all that different from a normal business.

I grabbed the finance book. “What the—”

My eye grew wide at the massive debt.

“Oh honey, you're here already.” My mom put down her purse.

“Mom, have you seen this?” I showed her the book.

She stared blankly at it. “Is it...bad?”

I facepalmed. I forgot, my mom is a complete idiot. “Nevermind.”

“Ne, ne,” she scooted closer. “Has Matsujun been well?”

I was still reading over the finance book. “Yeah,” I told her casually.

“He is so s*xy! How did you get him?! Does he like older women?”

I rolled my eyes. “Mom, I'm not sharing my boyfriend with you. That's disgusting.”

She pouted. “You're so stingy.”

I snorted. “I think it's called morals Mom. I'm not sure if you know what those are though.”

She continued, not bothered at all by my comment. “Then can I at least plan the wedding when it happens?”

“Eh!? Wedding?!”

“Yes a wedding! How could you not want to get married to someone like that?!”

I shook my head. “Sometimes I wonder what goes on in that head of yours. Jun and I haven't been dating long enough to even discuss a subject like that.”

“Discuss? Why would you need to discuss? Just get pregnant! Then he has to stay with you!”

I stared at her disapprovingly. “Mom?”

“Shut up.”

She pouted again. “Rina-chan is so mean!”

Why did I agree to this again?!

“How did your day go last night?” Jun was styling his hair as I sleepily walked into the bathroom.

I shrugged. “I'm not really sure. My mom gets on my nerves like normal and I just found out my father is terribly in debt.”

“In debt?”

“I'm starting to think this was on purpose. Like pushing the debt onto me or something. Maybe they want me to figure out. Sheesh, I hate my family.”

“Rina, if your family needs it...” Jun stopped messing with his hair and stared deep in my eyes. “I can pay it off.”

I quickly shook my head. “No, no! You don't need to do that! I'm scared that if you did that, they won't go away!”

“Okay, but...if you need me...”

I smiled at him. “Thanks.” I began to put on my makeup. “So you guys have a Christmas Eve performance tonight?”

“We do...” Jun looked at me sorrowfully. “Sorry that we can't spend Christmas Eve together...”

“I understand. It's the life of an entertainer. I'll be working tonight anyway.”

“Then there's the Christmas party tomorrow...should we ditch that and go on a date instead?” Jun offered.

“I'm surprised. I didn't think you would want to ditch a party. But no, we should go. You haven't been hanging out with your friends outside of work recently. You know, I don't mind if you invite friends over here. I mean really, when was the last time you went out for a drink with Oguri-san or Ikuta-san? I'm worried your social life is suffering because of us.”

“It's because I want to spend as much time with you as possible...” Jun shyly answered.

I chuckled. “Like I said, I really don't mind if you bring friends over.”

“I guess I haven't seen Shun in awhile...ah! I need to go!”

He kissed me once before heading out the door.

Actually, I was disappointed that we wouldn't be spending Christmas Eve together. It's supposed to be a couple's night, but Jun had to perform. I guess it was one of the many problems with dating a entertainer, but I'm sure Jun and I will figure something out.
